Tanks were clean. Good selection of fish and fairly priced for a LFS. As a matter effect, some fish are priced cheaper than big ticket stores if you know the going price of what you are looking for. Staffs service was ok but lack of personal touch and interaction, thus why no five stars are given. The staff who netted the fish for me can use a bit more training. He used a tiny little net to try to catch small and fast moving fish results in stressing the fish out. Instead he should use a small net to school the fish into the bigger net waiting at the corner. His way of handling resulted in water splashing everywhere and all the other fish in the tank were stressed and freaked out, obviously the tank was clouded with debris.

Was actually way better than expecting! Huge store, huge selection, exotics... truly seemed great! My only issue was the staff. There was one kid who seemed to be happy there.... the rest, especially the kids at the till couldn't have cared less about thier jobs in my opinion.

I went here to purchase 2 fancy goldfish for my tank and one of them passed away and the other one has given ich to the rest of my goldfish in the tank. Their goldfish care is less than perfect as I saw many dead goldfish in their tank, probably from the ich. I wouldn’t recommend buying any goldfish from their store until they step up with their care and start using those fish treatments they sell in their own tanks.

I see the owner or management replying to some of the good reviews so hopefully this gets us a call back sooner. ** UPDATE* DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IT IS A DISGRACE, OWNWER WAS THREATENING MY HUSBAND OVER MY REVIEW, when he took almost two weeks to get back to us after our fish died from a product they recommend. Tried fixing the problem by putting the blame on the company that they stock their shelves with. Zero accountability for their mistake. Quick to make a sale! But zero sympathy when they cause your pets to die oh and a tip maybe dont allow clueless kids to run your store!!!!

Limited parking. No disability parking. Coming. Into the store is dangerous as the entrance is uneven and broken. Caution going in is strongly advise. The store is full of your pets needs at a reasonable price. The fish are many varieties and beautiful. We bought aquarium supplies and 4 fish. Enjoyed my time in there walking around . Recommend highly if they fixed the entry way.

Pros: This place had a large variety or merchandise for all your needs, great choices from high end to.low end foods and supplies. Also had a great range of Fish tanks one could possibly need for new or old hobbyist. Cons: Over priced stock. Store needs new paint on outside and in. Shelves where everndirection often leading to confusion and discomfort. There was just to much on display to fully grasp the enjoyment of the variety they had. I would love to see this store much more tidy and alow room for people to move around. I personally felt almost filthy just walking around. Nutral perspective: I did enjoy the friendly service and various types of fish and variety they had to offer. Will not return :(

Have not had a good expirence in this store. Questions often dismissed. Many of the reptiles are not being cared for properly. Sells animals to new owners as babies without proper disclosure of needs as adult. Certain reptiles in with other species that have different care needs. Really unfortunate.

Love this store! I set up a community tank and after planning out all the fish ( mostly Barbs, Tetras and Guppies) the staff was great at locating them and selling me ones that go well together. They made it easy for me to maintain, as they sold me tropical flakes that all my fish can eat, and laid out a cleaning plan every 8 weeks. Also I once saw some ladies buying a bugdie bird (I overheard threir 3rd try) because they had a tiny cage and an agressive female one that killed the last 2 :( Pats pets staff deterred them from subjecting another one! Good for you guys!

I came here one night after dropping my kids off at the near by jujitsu gym. I took a look at all the neat pets they had and inquired about some fish. I had a small aquarium at home housing a betta fish and I wanted something larger. They answered my questions and seemed knowledgeable. I ended up buying some dog food while I thought about the fish idea. My wife ended up buying me a larger aquarium for Xmas so I returned to Pats and they helped me pick out a few fish, the girl was super friendly and seemed to know her stuff about fish. I want a couple more fish so I’ll be back to get more. I will continue to buy my dog food from Cowtown however only because of the loyalty program they have. If Pats had one similar to theirs id probably buy from them. Thanks

Went in because I was curious about rats as I've been thinking about getting some for quite awhile. Although they had none at the time I had asked where they normally get their rats from and the lady flat out refused to tell me. I went here thinking a locally owned pet store would get their animals from reputable breeders rather than mills like large company stores do but her saying she wouldn't tell me left a bad taste in my mouth. FOR YOUR DOGS SAFETY - DO NOT GET YOUR DOGS CUT HERE - STAFF ARE CLUELESS - had my two dogs hair cut there horrible job and i have serious concerns for the safety of animals brought here. Not only did the person doing the grooming show up 20 minute late, but she obviously did a rush job that threatened the health of my dogs. One of my dogs was supposed to get a breed specific cut - a Scottie- the lady doing the grooming had no idea what a Scottie was and pretty much trimmed off his eyebrows; she kept referring to him as an Irish terrier. How can they offer breed specific cuts when the person doing the grooming has no clue what the different dog breeds are. Worse yet the other dog was just in for a baths and sanitary trim. The trim involved shaving her face to the point where her eye LASHES (not brows) were FULLY shaved off. I have never seen that done before and am just glad she didn't do any damage to her sight. Super disappointed with their no exchange policy for unused products. My mom went in to buy us a kennel as a gift and informed staff the dog would be no larger than 40lbs. Staff recommended she buy the XL kennel, which she questioned them on and they reassured her it was the correct size. When I saw how large the kennel was, I contacted the store immediately about exchanging (as the kennel hasn’t been used at all as we don’t even have the dog yet). The staff member was kind but gave no explanation as to their policy - just stating that no exchanges were possible. As a soon-to-be dog owner, I won’t be purchasing anything again from this business. If you take advantage of customers who are asking questions about a kennel size, it doesn’t leave much for reassurances about buying food and other necessities for your pet.

Great pet store! Wide selection of products. The beta fish I bought was healthy and colorful. The do not keep their beta's in a small cup or bowl. The fish get their own filtered tanks.
