My favorite Fish and Chips place in Red Deer. Good size fish portions and always friendly good service. Keep up the good work. Just did a take out and they were very generous with the tartar sauce. Thank you for a great meal again.

Always a pleasant experience getting fish and chips from Joey's Only. A few different kinds of fish to choose from and prices are pretty reasonable. Even their cheapest fish and chips are really good. The restaurant always seems to be pretty quiet, I think most people order take out. But that just means its pleasant if you want to go in and eat in . Always recommend these guys.

Simply the best Fish and Chips in central Alberta. Specially the North location is the best. Been there several times and when the Chef/Owner is around, you can expect the best cooked meals. Hes done some custom orders too and we have loved it.

Stay away from this place! The fish was plain awful! They gave me a pop, the glass was filthy and the pop tasted like it was made from a swimming pool water. Then they wondered why i did not tip!

2 times i went to joeys for their AUCE.once in medicine hat and this one here.both were bad experiences.in med hat i did not get more fish when i wanted more.and this one i got the extra fish i wanted and they charged me 15 dollars more for the fish which is “all you can eat”. Not recommended by me.

My friend and I come in at least twice a month, the place is always clean.. food is fresh hot and delicious. The server always remembers not only our order but our drinks as well. She is our favourite server and always takes time to ask how we are doing and have a little visit between tables and the phone ringing. I recommend this place very highly for the delicious food and the wonderful staff.

I ordered from them for the first time and got deep fried shrimp and calamari and it was amazing! I ordered a bunch of tarter sauce with it and I highly recommend it going with them! I’m not a huge fan of the red sauces, never have been anywhere but if you are don’t bother with the tarter!

Hungry? Good - you wont' be after you leave Joey's. Joey's Seafood (not to be confused with the other Joey's chain) is tucked away off of Gaetz, hidden behind BP's and is easy to miss unless you know what you're looking for. The south location closed a while back (also a bit hidden), but it is ABSOLUTELY worth the going out of your way for. First off, Tuesdays have an all-you-can-eat fish & chips special, and Thursdays have all-you-can-eat fish tacos: both are great options, but I've been please with most of the menu, including the variety of appetizers that are offered at reasonable rates (and can also be combined into an appy combo for even greater savings). While they usually run a pretty lean staff, I've never been disappointed with service here, or the speed the food comes out. Now, you're not going to get anything fancy here, but as long as you're not expecting anything except deep-fried comfort food, you will not be disappointed.

Having worked at a Joeys in the past, I was happy to find one where I moved to. However, each time I’ve ordered I’ve been disappointed. Usually get delivery, and almost everytime there is something missing. I have brought it up each time and one time got a discount. The serving sizes are lacking... I know what they are/should be having worked at a Joeys in the past. This location is missing the mark. Here is the lobster Mac and cheese I got today. 1/2 full container (if that) with one piece of meat. So disappointing.

Don't get take out, what a joke. 5$ for eztra cole slaw you get half a cuo. 4$ extra for truffle garlic fries with no flavour and almost no cheese. Dish was only decent part nut the rip off for the rest if it doesn't add up. Called the restaurant was told by who I assume is the manager "well I'm not in the kitchen I don't know what you want me to do, call SKIP and maybe the will refund you". Not getting my $$ again.

Went there today had all you can eat fish and chips and the fish had tons of bones in it swallowed one before I caught one in my throat coughed it out and then started picking at them and there was like a handful that could have gone horribly wrong also the coleslaw had hair in it not the greatest experience this time they didn't really say sorry or anything they just brought us new stuff you think they would least said sorry lol still good fish only the first two had full bones in it after they brought the new ones no more bones and the waitress lady wasn't particularly friendly ????

I had ordered delivery with them through Uber Eats this was my first time ordering anything on Uber Eats. When I received my food I only had 1 of my items a extra side of fries so I was very frustrated I hit the gst help button on Uber Eats said they would get back to me in up to 24hrs which frustrated me more. But I decided to call restaurant myself. They had apologized for their mistake , made my food and delivered it to me ! It would have been nice to get my food all together but I am very pleased with how they corrected there mistake. Food is delicious!!
