Customer service was very excellent and we were greeted at the door and seated very quickly. I really loved the food as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant and they followed proper Covid-19 health procedures by wearing masks and social distancing the tables properly. It is a nice restaurant to visit when passing through Quesnel.

Delicious, quick and fairly inexpensive. The Super 8 that is attached is where we are staying and it isn't the best motel so wasn't sure what to expect. I am delighted to say that the food was fantastic ????

The chicken teriyaki was some of the best I've ever had. It was crispy and moist. And well seasoned. The rolls were very good as well. Although the real crab California rolls were wetter and did not have as much flavour as the regular California rolls.

Not traditional sushi, more fusion with southeast Asian flavors, but pretty good. The bento boxes looked interesting, but only available at lunchtime. Sashimi was tasty and generous for the price. The menu was extensive, will have to go back a few times to really experience this place.

The first issue we encountered at this restaurant was the dirty hanging cloth that you are forced to pass through as you enter the restaurant. That cloth was so discolored and dirty that I probably have some unknown disease from touching it. The second issue was that we ordered miso soup and never received it. I could understand if it was busy but it was just us and another party in the restaurant. We let it slide. The third issue was that we never received plates so we ate over the two napkins we had received and made an embarrassing mess. The fourth issue was that no one came and checked up on us. We watched the waiter check on the other table a ways away but never us so we could never ask about plates. They came to check on us as we were finishing and we brought up the fact that we never got plates and they just laughed. The fourth issue is that they charged us for the Miso soup. We did not let this slide. Overall the quality of the food was sub-par, the gyoza tasted the same as the ones you buy in a box from superstore and the ingredients in the Sushi were not very fresh. If you're looking for Sushi perhaps try a bigger city like Vancouver or even the sushi boxes in Safeway (the taste is comparable and the price is way less). I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone who has ever had good sushi before.

Ginza is our "go to" sushi restaurant in Quesnel. We love eating here as a family, couple and by ourselves. There's a great selection of food, good prices and healthy food here. Sit down and enjoy the experience or order take out to take home or to a party. I wish there was a dinner bento box available. Other than that, you wont be disappointed.

Excellent, very fast service. Food arrives quickly (sometimes almost too quickly if you're trying to visit over dinner). The menu has a good selection of Japanese foods like Donburi, Udon (soup and fried), Sushi (Maki, sashimi, nigiri etc.) As well as some Korean favourites like Bulgogi, Bibbimbap etc. Overall an excellent ethnic restaurant with good value for money and friendly service.

There is way too much rice on the rolls, didnt seem very authentic of a sushi restaurant, the place did seem busy when I went so it seems to be a hit with the locals. Just wasnt my style of sushi I suppose.

9 times out of 10 the food is amazing. The other time the rice isn't quite right but it's still great food. The service is always quick and they have never made a mistake on my orders. In my opinion ginza is the best sushi place in the Cariboo. They also have a decent loyalty program, especially if you use it for half off dinner for two or three.

It was quiet and the food was very fast. Our server was very helpful with us and the menu. It isn't a fancy place, I would have liked a glass for my drink and they tend to be in a big rush. But the food tasted very good and the price is right. I recommend it.

I absolutely love this place and I'm from the city. I was reluctant to try small town sushi at first but im glad I came here. They're always busy so you have good product rotation. You have fun Asian cuisine options like bibimbob if that's your thing but the best thing about this place is the speed of service and the price. Will give 5 star review once they order real tuna. Their tuna is white and everybody knows tuna ain't white, ever! It's dark red, always.

There ginger bits in a jar on the table, seated and food came quickly, the chicken Katsudon had a drizzle of what tasted like a light mayo but Real mayo not sandwich spread which was good but I would as with out next time

Probably the better sushi place in town and my go-to. Only complaint is that sometimes the sushi is packed with too much rice and the tempura is heavily over-battered and greasy, and other times it's all good. Bonus points for carrying wild sockeye salmon as a tastier and healthier option compared to the farmed fatty antibiotic-filled atlantic salmon default.

If comparing Ginza to other sushi restaurants the quality isn't as great. The rolls are very thick on the rice with minimal veg - I had a California roll and there was a tiny slice of avocado throughout for example. The menu does describe what is in each roll so that's nice.

Fast service, I've tried the chicken and the beef teriyaki and it was so good. I was referred by my boss and got so many work meals from here. So good and so filling. The rice is really good. I haven't eaten in but while I was waiting guests seem to be having a really good time.

The yaki soba here is fantastic! The noodles are firm with a great texture and are sauces wonderfully while still allowing the flavour of the noodles and vegetables to come through. The sushi here is creative and well rolled, the vegetables are fresh, but the rice is lacking somewhat. The prices are very reasonable for the area and the staff were friendly.

We went for supper. Excellent restaurant. Absolutely fabulous food. Not expensive. A very busy place. Sushi and sashimi were top notch. Better than you would find in most places on the coast. They have a large selection of menu items. Including BBQ. I had the pork belly. It was cooked to perfection and not greasy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow..the sushi from the snack bin at safeway is better than this junk. Cali roll was floppy and canned crab and mayo is not sushi. Bento: beef teriaki looked and tasted like it was made yesterday. Karage chicken was frozen chicken lumps with some teriaki drooled on it. The gyoza was so tough it would make great sandal leather. The waitress was fast efficent and rude. How about the decor..dark purple walls and ceiling with the vallhalla dividers still installed in the booths. The atmpsphere is dreary and the opposite of cheerful I speak japanese..was there for several years..this food is similar in quality to a gas station microwave burger. Also..if you object or react to MSG..DO NOT EAT THIS SLOP! IS THE WORST JUNK IN TOWN.

Came from Vancouver, the supposed sushi capitol outside of Japan. The restaurant is fantastic, and I highly recommend it if you're in the Quesnal area. The food is fresh and delicious, and the portion sizes are plentiful. Even if you don't eat raw fish, try their teriyaki dishes! The service is great too, staff are very attentive and informative. If your looking for a place to eat, skip the fast food joint and head there.

It's ok. Fish isnt very fresh. I love sashimi, especially salmon, but the fish these people use isnt fresh. The salmon is like a pale pink and I actually gagged when I tried eating it. I ended up just cooking it. Usually salmon sashimi is a nice dark orange or red, sliced moderately, and basically melts in your mouth... super tasty. This stuff was super thick cut and didn't taste good whatsoever... no flavour..

The food service was very fast but the tempura was very greasy and smelt of old oil. Also dissapointed about the gyoza as they also came deep fried. No smiles from the waiter. I will wait awhile before i go there again.

Mediocre sushi at best I have had just as good from a grocery store. Back on Vancouver island where there is some of the best sushi restaurants around this just fell flat in taste. orderd some standard rolls to see how it was spisy tuna had some good flavor but nothing special the Dynamite roll was bland missing sauce that has always come on every roll i have ever gotten anywhere else even here in town the unagi roll was ok tanpura was great not too greasy and had just the right amount of tampura on it will say the rice was fresh and they where realy fast with the order. Would go back one day to try some other dishes to see how they are but the sushi was just not worth getting agin iam sure the Sashimi and nigiri is good because the rice was good and the fish fresh intrested to see how there other dishes will hold up to some of the other places in town but what I have had I dont see it being the best place in town by far I have had some realy good dishes and sushi from other places that just had way more flavor and more what I am acustom too from the island

Sushi good, service good, pork belly awful, probably the most disgusting thing we've ever ordered in a restaurant. The pork was tasteless, chewy and had a kind of burnt smell, should of said something but didn't, expensive and very sad dish. Sorry guys, we were expecting a lot more.

My food is always good here. Depending on what you order they gave these really neat hot plates and bowls that keep your food really hot (the way I like it and should be) until you're done it. Good prices too. Cozy restaurant environment. Would recommend it.

Absolutely will never step foot in the place again.. 4 diffrent plates of food for 4 people...3 were cold to the touch including 2 chicken teriyaki that were cold and under cooked ...then asked if we wanted it heated up in microwave ....yah no thanks...and there wont be a next time .....disgusting......plus seen cleaner bathrooms at a truck stop!

The menu items are high quality and fresh every time. This is my fav place. They could update the glass inserts that divide the tables from Viking ships to bushido warriors for example or something that would make sense to their food culture. However your attention is drawn away from the need of an update with its service. I can't say enough about how lovely their service is. I enjoy the service at this place, and they are quick, skilled and very artistic.
