Having been to many seafood restaurants in Vancouver, we thought with a restaurant like this where they have the word 'seafood' in the name, this would be a place that would deliver. We were very wrong. The food did not taste fresh, did not taste very good at all. Thankfully, we didn't order too much.

Visiting from Lower Mainland and took my wife and Mother-in-law tonight for dinner. My wife has never been, and Mother-in-law and I , its been years. To start, the restaurant was very clean and inviting. The staff was very vibrant , helpful and professional. We got the 5 for $25 appetizers and all were very flavourful and well cooked. Then we all got the 2 piece fish and chips. Great size portions and once again very good. Over all we were Very Satisfied and will be returning next time we visit Prince George. Atmosphere, Staff and Food were all excellent!!

We paid a total of $71 to get fish and chips, and 5 sides. The fish and chips were not half the quality you can get at White Spot, the $9.50 salad was one small scoop of lettuce, 5 croutons and the tiniest pinch of cheese possible. The sweet potato fries only included 15 fries, wouldn’t even be enough to impress my 10lb dog. The garlic bread was burnt and tasted burnt in every bite. The fries (the few we were given) and the deep fried pickles (they gave us a couple extra because they ran out of spring rolls) were as good as you’d expect after receiving them cold, 20 minutes later than expected. Overall, an embarassing experience for us as well as it should be for you. If you want to stay in business, remember to feed your customers and give them what they pay for.

I do NOT recommend going here. The service was very underwhelming however just kids trying to make their way through school so I give them credit they're sweet.... However the FOOD was HORRIBLE... Me or my husband could not eat our food. Cold centered spring rolls, rubbery flavorless calamari and water thawed bland shrimp for mine, and my husbands fish and chips was very unsatisfying and the tartar sauce was disgusting. Just saying if you want seafood there are so many better places to go. AVOID this place like the plague.

Kitchen was not able to handle the rush. Though we were one of the first tables to order at dinner, several ordering the same special hot their food first. We waited 40 minutes after ordering. We didn't get all of our order either. The restaurant was only mildly busy, only half the tables in use. So we were surprised to have had such a problem.

Far more expensive than it should be for what it is. Tarter sauce was great, garlic red potato mash tasty and service was decent, waitress really nice but the food wasn't anywhere as good as the reviews. Only two tiny chunks of lobster in the lobster sliders, mostly onions. Fish is too much batter, not much fish and far too salty. Flavors are pretty bland and the cilantro coleslaw was mostly sauce.

Good food Not bad prices! The service could be improved by a mile. Then I would give it five stars. Said I didn't want clowslaw asked me what else I wanted I said mashed potatoes if they don't have onions, we wait for a while, they bring my friends soup and entree at the same time and mine has coldslaw. So I ask about it, potatoes do have onions, fine but shouldn't I have been asked what else I wanted again? I can't eat clowslaw, send it back and tell them to just leave it It is too late now. We don't see waitress again til we are a few bites from being finished. Not good service in my book.

Went to Joeys on central in Prince George I ordered the steamed king crab and shrimp with garlic bread an mashed potatoes Well my meal shows up... My steamed crab was frozen an still had ice on them My potatoes were cold Sent meal back.... They steamed it again When it was returned the crab was rubbery an dry.... Potatoes were still cold That was the absolutely the worst crab an shrimp meal I ever had.... Service was OK.... But for $65.... I was ripped off Totally disliked the food there and will NEVER EVER eat there again Sooooo disappointed ???? at the crappy cook that made my meal..... He should be at McDonald flipping burgers

Went during all you can eat fish on a Tuesday. We ordered some drinks, one all you can eat, one shrimp dinner and a kid's meal. We got our food and never were spoken to again. Had to go up to order some additional fish. They brought that and never came back again. Table beside us had server back and forth bringing multiple rounds of food, drinks and eventually the bill. We had to go to the counter to get our bill even. They should change the name from "all you can eat" to "whatever we feel like bringing you". We never even received the drink for our kid's meal after ordering it twice. Pretty disappointing meal all in all. I'm not expecting anything special from a restaurant like Joey's but it would've been nice to be seen and served like the paying customers we were.
