You will see the feddbacks of real people who are consuming the services of Betulla Burning (Fish Shop) in the area close to Prince George (Canada).
At the moment the business has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average of ratings that it reaches is nearly the best, and it's founded on a very high number of opinions, so we can be pretty sure that the valuation is quite credible. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to place scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fish Shop is classified in the category of Neapolitan restaurant.
Prince George is a stop-over for us and we had no expectations for dinner. How happy we were to find this restaurant. Delicious and imaginative pizza, excellent service and great wine list. Saw some poor and, in our opinion unjustified reviews that had nothing to do with the food and service A pleasant surprise and seeing that it is packed on a Tuesday night, clearly a local favourite!
Incredible food, atmosphere and service. Best Italian around!
They have great coffee!! We've been 5 or 6 times now and overall had a great experience. The pizza can be hit or miss but the good ones are *really* good.
I like the food. The pizza is a safe choice but the sandwiches are also pretty good. I didn't like the ice cream desert with coffee on it... that was kind of weird.
$$ and TASTY pizza. Lattés come with airplane cookies, coffee is good. Patio is warm, and the environment is my favourite so far in PG, with cool wooden interior, upstairs patio (no view, but nice place to be).
I usually order take-out to enjoy their amazing pizzas but today I decided to eat-out on their popular upstair patio. Almost at the end of my dinner, I witnessed a mouse running up and down the dinning table and roaming around the floor looking for food. I reported the mouse to the server and was offered to move the table indoor. However, I already lost my appetite from the mouse and we asked for the bill. I was just really concern because the mouse has direct access to the kitchen as the door is always opened. I spoke with the manager and all response I got from was "IT IS OUTDOOR and IT HAPPENS. Nothing wrong with the kitchen and yea." Well.. My experience is completely ruined by unsanitary management of the patio. Would you consider your apartment patio area an outdoor? Imagine seeing a mouse at your apartment patio. Can you still say it is outdoor and therefore it is safe? I was deeply disappointed by the response of the manager. I am in contact with local health authority to confirm if the health/safety guideline is being met as the store manager claims.
Everything about Betulla is special, the food, the atmosphere, the staff. This is a definite must for anyone looking for a great experience!
Betulla burning should be in the top places to eat in Prince George for sure! They have rotating seasonal food and high quality ingredients. I literally crave the food here sometimes, especially the pizzas. Their cocktails are unique, fun and delicious and they have never failed on a visit to make spectacular food. I will always recommend Betulla burning to everyone who visits and lives here!
The Best most creative pizza’s in town. They regularly change their menu so always be down to try a new type of pizza every time you come.
Great pizzas, nice variety of toppings. Been said by others that it's the best pizza they've ever had. Not sure I'd go that far, but was great!
11/10 the roof top patio is amazing!! The pizza is to die for. The ingredients are local and fresh. Plus their cocktails and drinks are soo delicious. The prices are great for the fresh good quality ingredients. It's amazing. Definetly reccomend trying betulla
We got the charcuterie board and it was to die for. The selection on it were pungent and unique and it makes my mouth water thinking back on it. They have a fire pizza oven, which, according to my wife, makes great pizza. A little treasure of the north.
Service
Very lovely balcony seating arrangement and delicious food. Drinks were tasty and staff were very kind.
TLDR: door dash order, restaurant messed up bad, manager didn’t care, food we did receive was subpar. I made an order through DoorDash, I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the burger with dirty fries. The restaurant called to tell us they were out of the dirty fries and I said the regular fries would be fine. They decided to just cancel the entire burger which I didn’t find out about until DoorDash notified me. I called the restaurant to ask what happened and the manager answered the phone and she could not care less, and she all but told me as such. She said she didn’t know what happened and she wouldn’t be helping me because someone else already cancelled the burger on their end. I told her I paid for 2 items and I expect 2 items to show up. She said no because she’d already put through a refund for the burger so I said if the entire order isn’t there I don’t want it. She said I could send the whole order back but I would not be getting a refund. I kept the food because it would go in the trash if I didn’t. Since I kept the food I can remark on that as well. The “wagyu” meatballs were over salted, the bucatini pasta was mildly over cooked, enough that I could feel it, the sauce was pretty good but there was barely enough. That being said it was only 24 dollars so I wasn’t expecting a world class meal, but even a child could have done better. The doughnuts were hit and miss. The size was all over the map and as a result the bigger ones were still doughy in the center, and the smaller ones were too crispy to taste nice, the sauce was the saving grace. The side of olives were great and a much larger portion then I expected for the price, I’m still snacking on them. Overall my experience with the manager was horrendous and the hit and miss food left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be returning or recommending this to anyone who mentions trying it out.
Delicious pizza! I wasn't sure about this place but it was awesome! Very cool feeling atmosphere! Service was good and friendly! Would definitely go back! Overall experience was excellent!
Excellent service! Atmosphere was perfect, absolutely loved the playlist. The staff fully accommodated my keto diet and was so wonderfully generous! Love this place and will be back for sure!
This place is the best pizza in town. By far. What an amazing new place. Been coming to PG for years now, and by far this place is unmatchable. It’s like having a piece if Italy in your mouth. Must try for sure.
Had a great pizza on the heated patio. A little chilly despite the heat lamps, but it was still quite nice. The pizza we got had figs on it and they were very accommodating about a substitution on the pizza. The service was quick, friendly …
This is absolutely unacceptable! A mouse was running around when we were eating. We brought this issue to the manager immediately and she said that we don't have any problems with that. I am very disappointed how she answered and this is a serious health and safety issue.
I was visiting from Vanocuver and took my family here. The restaurant had nice decor and plesant atmosphere and I would definitely come back to visit. That being said, I did have a negative experience where the kitchen took a very long time to serve our last dish and it was getting late and my family was getting antsy. Luckily for me, and also for the restaurant, I had a server name Macaulay who was very astute and attention to detail. She was proactive in making sure my family was doing ok and took extra steps to compensate for the kitchens error. It is because of Macaulay I am leaving a 5-star review. It is also because of her I will be back to the restaurant again on my next visit. Thank you Macaulay.
Outstanding pizza place. The atmosphere was open and modern, with great music playing. Service was friendly and fast, drinks were inventive and delicious, pizza was unique and was cooked perfectly. If I lived in Prince George, I'd be here all the time.
Unique option for Prince George. Love the viarety of different pizzas and their food in general. I constantly crave their smoked olives.. Always good service and hospitality
I want to like this place but I feel like they really didn’t pull it off. It is quite expensive. The cheapest beers are $8.50. We watched our $22 burgers sit on the counter for at least 10 minutes right …
We had a great dinner. I had the truffle pizza and the salumi board. My daughter had the bacon and clam pasta, we also had the Italian donuts for dessert, all excellent. The food was great the atmosphere was nice with an open kitchen. The waitstaff was so nice and friendly. It is a great find in Prince George and we will be back.
Great food and atmosphere. Amazing deck. I wish we had something like this in Red Deer. The cauliflower appie was amazing.

Where does one go in Prince George for outstanding food? Look no further than Betulla Burning. I've been here a few times now and every single time the food, beverage and service has been a beauty unfathomable. Perfectly mixed cocktails, …
Amazing food! I had the gluten free mushroom pizza, it was to die for! Cocktails were great too! Will be back!

Typical higher end eatery, limited menu but friendly staff. Downtown location (which can be a bit troublesome at times) but highlight is beautiful rooftop patio and overall aesthetic. Food quality is typical of type of establishment, prices are a bit high but expected.
Amazing experience....The food quality, service and vibes are very nice. Had a positive experience on the second floor with our nice server Ashley....will definetly come again
High end pizza ???? some of the options I didn't thought I would like but my husband forced me to try something new. ????????
Great food & atmosphere Pizza & tostada was exceptional, Calamari batter was a bit different ( some will like it and some won't), and the ricotta desert was amazing
Nice atmosphere, great staff, and really amazing pizza. Definitely would recommend!
Incredible food prepared by a great chef and served by an excellent staff. Try the Montenegro Sour for a great pre-dinner drink. I highly suggest the smoked olives to start, followed by the prosciutto pizza. Great flavours! Follow it up with a double espresso and the spruce tip ice cream (trust me, it is good). Give this place a try. If you have kids ask for a table on the upper floor as the kids can watch the chefs in action.
Had such a perfect dinner here this weekend. Service, food and drinks were just right. We started with two cocktails: a margarita and mule, nicely balanced drinks. We decided to an impromptu wine pairing with our dinner - splitting 3, 9oz pours for each course. First was the smoked tuna and a Riesling. Second, Chicken and Pear Pizza with such a delicious orange wine, recommendation from the chef, was incredible. Entree course we split an 8oz Wagyu Steak and wonderful full flavor Cab Sav. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Lastly we had macrons and a glass of port for dessert. The food was timed perfectly and the recommendations were spot on. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice night out. I haven’t been so happy leaving a restaurant in a while, thank you to all the staff!
pizza was pretty good but it can use more toppings. Shared with a friend so I recommend getting your own. Server overly attentive which can be a bit interruptive and that depends on the person. Vibes inside the restaurant are cool but can be less dim. Good wine.
On Saturday and Sunday nights I suggest you call and make a reservation. This is definitely the best restaurant in town. There's a hidden patio upstairs that's amazing when the weather is decent. The $100 charcuterie board is worth it if you have 4 people but that's likely all your need for dinner.
Pizza came out a bit cold... Odd cause I've always had amazing food here. Always a great place to visit for some food.
The food was awesome Service was great too Got seated on the roof top was a bit muggy up there needs some fans up there
Really great pizza! The ingredients are fresh and tasty! Great combination of options to satisfy anyone.
We went for a corporate function. One of our lads broke those couches as they do not have any cross support and the legs wobble if you rock side to side. Throw a 2x4 under those couches and screw them into the legs darn it! Anywho, it was funny as all hell whe the couch broke with one 200 lb dude on it while we risked the other couch with two 200 lb dudes on them, and we tried to test the limits of the couch by ordering the $100 antipasto appetizer. It was frankly the best plank of food we've ever had, and we were a diverse group of people from all 6 corners of Canadaland. The blood orange marmalade still tasted amazing a few hours later after I caught a snippet of some that was caught in my beard. We demolished that plank of food in no time, so we ordered like 6 pizzas. They were amazing, so amazing I forgot to take photos. We are in Prince George 4 or 5 weeks a year and usually have a rotation with the White Goose setting the PG restaurant gold standard, but Betulla Burning is the nifty new player on the block and we'll definitely be back. Just hope the couches are sturdier next time. Their wood burning oven is also birchin' Ohh google is asking me to describe the atmosphere. I believe it was earth standard at . 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide Amazing place, habitable atmosphere, delicious food.
Tha pizza!!! The atmosphere in this place is incredible. So open and classy, the view of their oven and process is for me a great addition. Being able to see them work at their passion and how they work together to create the delish meals they serve is for inviting. Dining for 2 is a hit.
The peach pizza was great. It's a busy place.
Pizza tastes great an love the different flavour combos but literally half the pizza was crust. Their crust is good but I've never seen such an aggressive crust to pizza ratio before. Staff is all good and friendly but not sure if I'd return.
Amazing food, great service! Absolutely love the atmosphere in here. The decor is very rustic. Love the open kitchen, watching these experts cook the food right in front of you is very cool. I will always come back here

Pizza was amazing. Was a little nervous as this is artisan pizza not you usual pizza hut garbage. Unique and exciting ingredients used to create fantastic fire baked pizzas. Highly recommend this place. As well they have a great BC local beer selection. Go here...!
Their food is well curated and executed. Their cocktails as well. The only point of contention I have with their pizza is that it is a flop-fest. True Neapolitan style pizza is cooked longer (or hotter - could be their issue) …
The service from start to finish was absolutely incredible! The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. My only issue was actually the pizza. The crust was great but both of the pizzas that we had, the toppings were so salty! We will definitely be back to give it another try - loved everything about this place and will try different pizzas next time!
This place is by far one of the best eating experience I have had in Prince George . Me and my husband went there for Valentine's Dinner (I am so glad we did !) and they had few special dishes that day that aren't part of the regular menu . We tried their pulled pork buns and venison pot pie they both were so well made the buns had pulled pork filling inside which was really flavourful and the pot pie was one of the best I have had so far , the pastry on the pot pie was fluffy and perfect texture . Apart from this we tried their Salumi - charcuterie board with inhouse meats and sauces along with bread ,it was really delicious as well . We also tried their wood fired Prosciutto pizza it was so good had fresh arugula and very well made . The drinks are also very good . Their ingredients are so fresh , food flavourful and preparation great . The service is very prompt and servers are really friendly , warm and hospitable . The place was packed when we got there so be sure to make reservations for special occasions before hand . I had a great time there and totally enjoyed my dining experience, I would highly recommend this place .
So nice here! Love the chef's menu and drink options. Great place to go in Prince George
WOw - some of the best pizza I've had! Really can't say much more - I think this ties for Primastrada in Victoria as the best pizza I've had in BC. Better than any pizza in Vancouver. GIve this a try if you are in the area.
I forgot to take a picture of the food I ordered, but here's one of me eagerly awaiting my chance to dig into whatever was making those delicious aromas! It was a perfect afternoon out on the patio on this gorgeous spring day! I had a Porchetta Pineapple pizza i think it was called (Essentially a gourmet Hawaiian pizza), and it was phenomenal! I was dipping the crust in their Ranch dressing (which is definitely the best ranch dressing I've ever tried, do yourself a favor and order some when you go) as well as their homemade ketchup, which is more like a really good, applewood smoked BBQ sauce or something. This is only the 2nd time I've had the pleasure of eating here, but I will be reminding myself to go back much more often this summer, especially with such a great space to enjoy the food. I would 100% recommend Betulla Burning to anyone looking for food downtown!
Couple of pizzas a soup and a kimchi cauliflower dish. All were very satisfied excellent atmosphere. My favourite was the Thai Tofu Vegan pizza. Delicious!!
Amazing space. Rooftop patio is fantastic with a living wall with hops and other plants growing along it and heaters in case the temperature goes down. The owners are great local guys who keep bringing life and food culture to downtown Prince George. Amazing coctail/drink list. Happy hour. Just great all around.
Service was very good, the food (wagyu pastrami and raclette pizza), was one of the most flavourful and enjoyable meals I've eaten in years. Everything about that pizza complimented the other ingredients. We had affogato for dessert, which was amazing. And getting to watch the chefs prepare everything was great; the care and precision in their work was a treat to see. Thanks!

Unique dining experience that was well worth it. My son really liked looking at the kitchen and watching the food being prepared. The Honey Love pizza was delicious. Will definitely visit again.
Good service, and yummy pizzas! Little pricey but the deals can make it worth it!

Best pizza ever! Extremely clean and great service.
The atmosphere is enjoyable and a nice addition to PG restaurant scene, however the ratio of food per $ is high. Nice place for a splurge, but you may want to pre-eat or bring a big budget. The pizza is just okay, I have eaten lots of pizza from Italian restaurants with pizza ovens and I find this one is dry and lacks flavour. Service could be more attentive, it'd be nice if someone could check in at least every 10-15 minutes to refill drinks, servers don't even need to make conversation, just ask the question, would you like another? Overall 3 stars because the atmosphere is nice, service could be better but definitely not the worse, and food is expensive for quantity.
Literally the best burger (and fries!) I've ever had. Sous vide wagu, with jalapeño aioli, fried pickled onions, bacon jam, arugala, and smoked cheddar on a brioche bun. I don't know what they're doing to those fries, but keep on doing it. They're great!
Wonderful pizza. Great toppings. Friendly waitress
Good pizza...smash burger was extremely salty... the latte is lowering the bar for a restaurant pretended to be italian.
Some of the best food in town from an amazing and gorgeous restaurant! It is a classy and impressive place to eat with excellent service!
