I go to safeway for all of my grocery needs. If i have an inquiry about a product, the staff are always good to help me. They work very hard to keep the atmosphere clean and professional. Location is great as all of the other grocery stores are located in cornerstone

Its a nice store but some of the flowers need to be binned as they are starting to get old and the cake making department needs better staffing otherwise a five star.

while the prices of non-essential items can be a little high at times, the frequent deals and air miles offers do help to offset that. (side note, the chips aisle has a bunch of air miles offers last i checked, 10/11/21.) when i needed to find a product in the meats section, the worker i talked to was very polite and showed me alternatives as well as pointing me in the right direction. overall i have positive experiences here

Have shopped at Safeway for years, love the floral dept., beautiful flowers in various price ranges, meat dept. always fresh, bakery has items I do not see elsewhere, and the cashiers are friendly and helpful. I always take car service, employees are courteous and friendly as they load up my vehicle.

Always the best produce. The baked goods are exceptional. A good array of fresh cut meat. And they always have ready to go meals at the deli. From freshly made chicken to handmade subs (a must try) and pizzas.My grandmother and my mother shopped Safeway. Today I take my granddaughter. It's a generational shopping experience I want to share with all my grandchildren.

I was devastated when I went to Safeway today! I come here frequently and things are fresh. However, today when I went to self check-out, I was trying to scan my products. One of the item was put in the bagging area and it was showing in the monitor that one item didn't get scanned. So, I was waiting for manager or the supervisor to come and help me out. Since I was waiting there for a long time, the woman ( I do not remember her name, it starts with E and she is from Philippines) told me, if I am gonna move soon. I said I am waiting for the supervisor to help me out. She said that she is the supervisor. She also mentioned me that I can leave my stuff and get out from the store. I said “excuse me” . Then she told me that she is seeing me all the time that what I am doing. I said her to cancel my scanned things and I will go to the till. I don’t know why I couldn’t say something to her. I just couldn’t be rude, maybe that was my weakness. However, I saw the manager and explained him that customers do not expect this kind of behaviour , and if he could mention it to her. However, I do not think he did understand. I felt very sad after coming home. I hope it doesn’t occur again and let us not judge people so quickly. ✌️ peace out

Pre-ordered some flowers, which costed more than just buying off the display. Poor quality flowers, died the next day. Moreover staff did not package the flowers as they were ordered. When went to pick up they had this new girl who had no clue how to make a bouquet, had to wait over an hour over this. very disappointing experience and waste of my money.

No longer require carts to be coined. Clean all carts which you can pick up in store. All staff appear to be well protected. Staff are all very friendly. Store is, for the most part, very clean. One bad thing I notice is their bulk buns are now in bags and cost way more than before Covid

I have been there fairly often and shop there if a good sale is on. I like what they sell there, but the regular prices tend to be high. Their produce is always nice, as well as the deli and I really like the bakery section. Their baked goods are very good and I really like that they don't throw away the unsold goods at the end of the day. I like that they give the leftover baked goods to the areas in the community that really need the help to feed themselves and their families. I have benefited from the airmiles program. The staff is very good there as well and I like that they have been around for a long time.

The vegetables, meal, and bread are very fresh. During the Covid 19, they don't sell the hot soup. The staff help me to pickup the premade soup. Their soup is Yami. I got what I need for my picnic.

Safeway is one of the few grocery chains that carry cocktail bitters, and this location has been out for quite some time.. otherwise I can usually find what I need here.

This place is so nice and the huge selection of presidents choice is amazing but the employees racially profile you and hover and follow you in every aisle. Not sure what is up with that ? Also heard another story about a woman and child being turned away from the manager which adds to the issue. They should practice there policies and treat paying customers with a lot of respect which the employees lack.

I bought a salad from the deli on November 12th, around 7:48pm. I ate some for supper on the 13th. While I was chewing, I heard a crunch and I spit the food out. I found a small pebble, 1.5 cm in diameter. I was disgusted and I phoned the deli right away. I told them what happened and he asks, would you like another salad or a refund? No apology! I'm never buying from the deli again.

Ever since Safeway was purchased by Empire Foods, I have made very few visits to the store. I have noticed over the past few years that the cost of regular priced items have sky rocketed greatly. I will give them credit for having a nice produce and bakery department though.

Convenient, but seems to be much more expensive since Sobey's became the owner. Used to get my prescriptions there, never ready so constantly waiting. Had no medical coverage, but they still made a point of charging me as much as they could. I was prescribed 81mg aspirin but was unaware that it could be provided cheaply. Instead they had me purchase it off the shelf at 5 times the price. It wasn't until I switched to another pharmacy that I realized the extent that Safeway was taking advantage of me. I kick myself that I allowed this to go on for over two years. I thought, like doctors, pharmacists held themselves to a higher standard and I could trust that they wouldn't take advantage of someone with no medical coverage.

Safeway has an Amazing bakery, the bread is very soft and fresh. The cinnamon buns with cream cheese just melts in your mouth and the cinnamon isn't overpowering. The selection of meats is good, the produce is fresh and the frozen foods section is clearly marked. There's a Starbucks close to the bakery & deli which is a nice location. There is also a flower shop and pharmacy located in the store. Pretty much everything you need is all in one store. The staff are friendly and helpful. This store has self-checkout and cashiers so you can decide which option you'd like.

My experience with this company was far from satisfactory. Walking into pickup bread 60 loafs and fruit 2 cases which are both sold, not donated. I walk up to the bakery dept and ask for the loaves and the response is "oh that's you, you need to talk with the manager"...OK so I meet what were going to deem as the Bakery Manager. The first words out of his mouth are "OK you listen here!" In a very firm demeaning tone. By the end of my transaction with him, of the 60 loaves of bread, 30 yes 1/2 the order comes out of the freezer and is expired!!! The Bakery manager attitude was it didn't matter that the bread had expired and we were providing this food to school children who are in need. He stated he gives out day old bread to his customers over the counter at Safeway. I'll let you decide your feelings with that. I've enjoyed my dealings prior with this company but this experience clearly shows these people don't care about what there doing its just a job and it makes me question there other policies and products. I would highly recommend you at minimum investigate what your looking to purchase or shop elsewhere with professional customer service. P.S. The expired bread was not used and fresh bread was purchased elsewhere.

Went into Safeway for buns and flowers and when I paid at the flower dept. for both items I accidentally forgot to grab the buns that I put on the counter for her to scan. SHE DIDN’T EVEN TRY TO GET MY ATTENTION! So I walked out without my buns.

I don't normally shop at Safeway as it is out of my general area, tends to be more expensive, and lacking in organic options. I purchased this juice (October 26th, 2021 today) and gave some to my children before realizing how very expired this was. I called to be refunded for the expired product and the manager put on the phone asked me to come in for my refund, to which I asked for a refund over the phone as I am not making a trip back for my refund. He put me on hold and left. After looking at my receipt I noticed they also over charged for a sale sticker item as well. Poor service, for an expired product, and being overcharged all in one experience. This is exactly why Safeway Prince Albert is not my first or second choice for groceries.

Horrible location all around. Manager budged lines - not social distanced. Rude to EVERYONE Bakery will not hold cakes (we're from out of town) or add cake toppers - small plastic balloon ("we don't give those out") - everywhere else does! Go to CO-OP for your cakes, you won't regret it! They're superior in taste and service. Pharmacy - if waiting an hour isn't bothersome to you, you'll love it. Deli - doesn't live up to their policy's due to 'covid' - not sure what that has to do with a free ham. Head Office? Useless - won't return communications Everything else? Overpriced and available elsewhere for 20% less. . This store is not worth the mark up. Many things need to change, starting with the store manager. Or.. maybe they'll close like many have in Saskatoon. That would be pleasing.

I always liked that store spend a lot of money there the store is very clean and have a station to wash my hands going in and out love this. A few days ago I had a very bad experience there while I was waiting in line the lady in front of me started to talk to me and I talked to her seemed very nice a complete stranger the manager told me no socializing than said no talking so germ don't come out of your mouth there was long line ups and she had a cake and I had 3 articles someone came along with a full and he told him to go to a closed till they will open I and others had been in line longer and I understand social but now no talking this is very rude action towards a senior.

Quiet indoor mall with what appears to be many empty store fronts. They did have a Starbucks in the Safeway though but it was understaffed and very slow.
