Awesome selection of aquatics, aviation, and large animal care... however like most pet stores, they know little about aquariums. All other aspects are excellent. :) they also have a great grooming service, however it is seldom available.

Most staff was helpful. One staff member was very rude and made rude comments. I was in there with my friends and I asked ow old you had to be to buy a hamster. They said “You’re not nearly old enough” so I asked what age exactly. She told me. But I did not appreciate her attitude towards me. I had asked if I could purchase a fish and she had told me no again. That apparently she would not sell any animal to anyone unless a parent was present. Called pet valu and asked the question they said they have never heard of a rule like that. I had gone back with a parent and I wanted a fish that needed a filter. Which I already had, as well as a heater she said in a very rude tone probably thinking we know nothing about fish. My parent said they knew in a loud voice and she was nice the rest of the time we were there :/ it’s sad that that’s what it takes for someone to have people skills

Staff were super helpful and accommodating! The cashiers were friendly and warm, the groomer Megan was able to get both of my large dogs bathed, brushed and clipped in record time! She even trimmed Harleys bum fur, and put up with her yowling lol. Megan did and great job and both cashiers were so helpful, even the newer staff member (I'm sorry I can't remember her name now). We will return again!

I've come here to groom my dog 3 times. Each time he comes back with matted hair still. Very disappointed. And to top it all off cuts are never even. I'm not taking Rocco back to this groomer anymore. He deserves better.

I flew in from Alberta and needed raw dog food (I am from port colborne but have been gone for 30 years so I don't know the stores ) I searched Google and this store did not come up so I ended up going to ridgeway as the other store in town did not carry raw. I later went to sobey's and saw ruffins pet food store Google you need to update this as I am sure they would have had what I needed.

Super great experience at the Port Colborne store! I had the manager (Megan) help me find a specific product that I was having a hard time finding elsewhere. They had all of the products in stock and ready to be purchased. Megan was super knowledgable, positive, and helpful when I had a few questions about the products. I felt like more than just a "customer". I will be sure to return for all my dog's needs! Thank you Megan and staff!

I had my dog go there for a hair cut . Mainly trimming up his face . And when I pick him up . I later that night find 2 wounds on his head where he was trimmed . This is unacceptable . Never going there again

Majority of the staff are very knowledgeableand go out of their way to locate products and suggest things others could care less just seems. like they're there to collect the paycheck and this industry you want knowledgeable and upbeat characters not condescending teenagers

Don’t take your dog there to get groomed. I had my dog there for grooming today since my regular groomer was booked. OMG the worst groom ever. I asked to have them leave the ears and tail alone and shave everything else. I got back to pick her up and I was so shocked I just paid and left. They shaved everything and left all her face hair on. She looks like a bald rat. I could have done a better job and it looks like sh wasn’t bathed. Horrible and will never return!neould give negative stars if I could, had to spend another $20 to have another groomer attempt to fix this disaster.
