Garbage, garbage service. I called to place a quick order so not to the up the line when I was there, was put on hold for over 10 minutes on the phone, heard the lady place a few orders, also heard her talking to her colleagues in between orders while I waited for her to pick the phone back up and nothing. THEN, the phone was hung up on me. I called back and got a " oh, sorry". Pure horrible customer service if you ask me. This isn't the first time calling and waiting.

So Archies's Sub and Eatery have been on my list of "must try" for a bit now. I finally checked that box. This shop is known for their fantastic subs, however, the menu has much to choose from. On this visit, I ordered a salami sub. With the meat piled high and toppings many; wear you fat pants if your ordering a 12" sub, Archie's is bang for your buck and, with quality. My mum took on the torpedo challenge... 12 inches of 6 meats! Tapping out halfway through with a brow-line of meat sweats, "WOW" was all she could say. Archie's is iconic in Port Colburn, found under a yellow submarine on the main street. This place is a must try!

I remember years ago going to archie's subs in port it was a delicious dinner one as a kid I looked forward to tonight was not it don't know if it is the times we are in but I just had the driest of all chicken subs ever the onion rings were great my daughter had a meatball sub and don't know what they did to the meatballs but more meat less filler and spice so disappointed in this place it was ...pass tence .. . Very good at one point not anymore

Surprisingly good menu with soup, subs, tacos, burgers and more. Pricewise a total bargain, e.g., 8" torpedo sub (4 meats) $7.99 (photo). Went for the mentioned sub and the small Mexican fries (photo). Sub was good, fries were on the oily side possibly from the cheese; hence -1 star. I'll skip the fries next time.

Honestly shouldn't own a restaurant if you have to have a guy stand outside and tell people you aren't taking any more orders because you're overwhelmed, that's not how it works unfortunantly. There were 5 people in the place. Yeah phone orders but hire a 2nd/3rd/4th person or only take a set amount of pre-orders and change your hours. Super unprofessional.

Don't bother spending your $10-$15 bucks at a big chain, when you can have fresh, quality and tasty subs on perfectly soft buns overflowing with toppings for a better price. If I could give this place no stars I would!!!I get that we're all in a hard time right now but you're only supplying take out and you can't get that right?My son is allergic to onions so I specifically asked for no veg on his sub and they piled on everything,I asked for two Nickelodeon and a clubhouse,two large fries and one small fry and all we got was one large fry??The Nickelodeon did have a ton of beef however the bun was burnt and the meat was cold, also there was only a few green peppers and mushrooms. The only reason I am complaining is this was not a cheap order and the care that went into this meal was subpar at best! Also we were even asked if we wanted to tip!!! Sorry but this was the first and LAST time we will be there!

This is an amazing place to eat and hang out with family while you eat your dinner lunch whatever. All the food here is delicious and yummy. Subs are so big ! Salads are big too. I haven't had a chance to try anything because I am in love with the torpedo sub and the julienne salad. But I want to try everything else and can't wait to go back again. We have been coming as family to this restaurant for over a year now, but when I was in high school I came here to eat at lunch. And that was over 15 years ago....

God, how I love this place. The Big B is my go to staple. They must have a license to print money, always rammed with customers. Call ahead. Or better yet, stay away! I dont want to share this place with you! Go away! You wont like delicious tacos. Is it the best steak sub in the entire reigon? You judge. A large sub is enough to satisfy a pretty big hunger. Or you end up with q delicious second meal. Wait, I take it back... stay away... go to Wendy's across the street. Staff is always friendly.

We got subs, and while they were delicious, I cannot stress how unhygienic this company is being during Covid-19. Every single person preparing the subs had their masks only covering their mouths. Then two of the ladies preparing the sandwiches took their masks off completely WHILE preparing OUR subs!!! Not worth the risk during these times!

Headed to Port Colborne for a drive and lunch and decided to have a sub at Subway. As we were walking down the street, we noticed what seemed to be a local subway shop and decided to give it a try. The phone was ringing off the wall with orders coming in and as we were waiting outside for our order...the people walking in was non stop. Once we got to a picnic table by the canal and took our first bite, we knew what the fuss was all about. The best submarine sandwich ever!! Fresh bun, meat, cheese! It was our first but certainly not the last.

The food here is terrible. I bought a poutine here a few days ago and what I got was the sorriest excuse for a poutine ever. first of all the fries aren't even fresh cut, they are mccain fries. Frozen fries from a bag. the cheese kurds are the cheap black diamond brick cheese and the gravy is some nasty slimy textured gruel . Its disgusting. another thing i wanna point out is that they heat up all the food in their 3 microwaves. now my friends go ga-ga for Archies. they seem to have alot of business. now what I dont understand is that with all the money coming in to the "successful business" they still have microwaves. honestly I think microwaves are just unprofessional. who out of their right mind wants to go to a restaurant and eat something that was heated up not in a an oven or toaster oven but a microwave. real unprofessional. their subs aren''t that good either. nothing is really that good. you want a decent poutine go to dawgs, or minor fisheries and if you want a sub go to subway that is down the street. you think that family restaurants would be authentic but Archies is just insulting. dont listen to the other reviews, they only like archies because its a business that was here for years and they wanna be proud about the long businesses that Port Colborne has to offer..

Great subs usually but I tried to call in for a sub at 6pm got answering machine telling me to come into the store. Went to the store, it was busy which is understandable. Waited 5 minutes to get into the store that's fine. Then waited 30 more minutes as pre-orders came in and out in front of me (tried to pre-order)... they finally got to me I asked for a steak sub and they tell me they have no steak.... very dissatisfied... they should have signs when they lack product so this doesn't happen.

Good enough food, but watch what you're being charged. They raised their prices in their cash register so it charges you more for certain items, but they elected not to change the prices on their online menu or on the menu board right inside. When they were called on it, I was assured it would be fixed, however weeks later they have actively elected not to make any changes and just hope you won't notice. When pointed out to the staff, they did not care at all and only know what the till tells them. There are 4 different prices for some items between their till, online menu, and store menu - example: Clubhouse sandwich is $7.45 on their newer online menu, $6.45 on the in-store menu board, $7.99 on a photo of the menu on Facebook, and over $9.00 when they actually ring it up.

Subs are huge and cheap. If anyone in Port Colborne goes to subway they’re crazy. These are the best subs I’ve ever eaten by far. Closed sundays though ????????

Great food but it’s takes a long time to get through on the phone and they often mess up your order. If you get take out here be sure to check your food in the car before going home. Also not very polite when calling back to complain about the order being wrong.

Best subs, best fish and chips, and best wings in Niagara. Order off of the secret menu and get the 'bling wings' which are tossed in blue cheese and medium wing sauce.
