No stock of lobster today but the woman operating the place today was really friendly and helpful. She said to come back Sunday so we might just do that. We bought some pot holders made by her Nan that we are just thrilled with. Too bad the fog was blocking the view...really quaint spot.

Great selection of fresh and frozen seafood! We found this little spot while out geocaching. We got cod tongues and mussels and brought it back to our campground and had a wonderful meal.

This spot came highly recommended by parents of friends of ours and was worth the drive. It was a beautiful sunny fall day when we visited Habourville Fish Market for the first time. Tide was out, so before choosing a selection of fresh halibut and scallops, we took a stroll on the rocky beach. Friendly service and fresh, fresh, fresh seafood.

It is beach front. Experience loooow tide here. Wonderful photo setting. If you have a pot, cook lobster over a fire at the beach. Colorful buildings, real lobster boats.

The poor gal at Harbourville Fish market was snowed in for 2 days. I follow their Facebook page. Last night, I saw the weather was supposed to be sunny today, so I messaged to see if it was too late to request fresh scallops to be put aside. She was happy to do so. She is a wealth of knowledge. When we first arrived to the Annapolis Valley, my family felt that we had to cook our first lobsters. It was our duty. The kids pointed at the lobsters in the tanks. She gave us instructions. They came out perfectly. Each time I go, I ask her new questions, "How do you cook Jonah crab? Do you think I can bake batter dipped fish? How do I cook the fishcakes?" Then I return to tell her, "Jonah crab has less meat and it's more work to get to the meat, but crab meat is sweeter than lobster." She agrees. We love the drive and the view. It just doesn't get any better... after having been snowed in for the past few weekends. To top it off, a gourmet seafood meal made by my twin 4 year olds and a 10 year old. I am one spoiled mother. Take a cooler and treat yourself to the drive.

Drove all the way there as the website says it is open on Wednesday’s. Everything closed. Would be nice if they updated their hours to prevent people from making a long trip only to find everything closed. A big disappointment.
