The food is great and so fresh. Very yme all food butter than each other ????????. The customer service is really really professional. I been this restaurant 4 times and I will go again ❤️

Benjamin Levitt

Most consistent fish and chips in the world. Potentially the universe pending discovery of other worlds that contain fish. Batter is crisp, chips hot and the feta is dainish. They also have wonderful healthy options.????????

Griffin Hughes

Amazing food , our waitress was so happy and loved her job , something I appreciate 100%

Rowan Goss

Guess what they sell fresh fish, but I go back for the seafood chowder. They always have a hot pot on the go.

Muhammad Fehmir

Loved the food. Definately gonna be back for more.

bev shean

Amazing meal as usual .Lisa what a gem so attentive and natural will be back again after our movie and meal Thanks another great lunch.

Aaron Lee

From as long as I can remember, since the early days of patronizing their establishment in 2003, their food quality, portion sizes and most of all staff courteousness NEVER disappoints. First time back after 10 years of living abroad, and everything is still spot on, if not better with their sinful desserts.

Winston White

Met the family there for pre xmas lunch, staff were amazing in terms of service and young lady was fun to deal with. Prices are a bit steep but still 5 stars for service

Owen Evans

Been here a few times. Fantastic food, really interesting menu, good service.

Tony Samaha

Overpriced , small portions overall disappointing $490 for 8 people … wow won’t be back here anytime soon

Noel Davies

Have had few meals here. Great food in a nice setting and pretty good value - parking can be a problem at busy times. I had crab linguini and loved it

Dee Yu

Best seafood place in Perth! It was so fresh and were cooked to prefection. Not expensive but very generous potions! Highly recommended!!!

Matt Cooper

Went for breakfast. Great menu, tasty, well priced. Service is top notch too.

Kristjan Peterson

Top end professionals- quality and high standards stand out throughout the shop & guarantee joy and happiness with every single visit.

Andrew Strickland

Pretty good seafood, my Res emperor was amazing, but restaurant is a little dated

Fatin Zreik

Favourite thing on the menu is the chilli mussels won’t go anywhere else but here. Lisa is always so friendly she’s amazing at what she does , rest of staff are nice as well. Quick service and always amazing food have never been let down highly recommended.

Ruby G

Whole family out for dinner Wednesday night to Kailis in Leederville 09/09 , all ended up with food poisoning , a sleepless night with stomach cramps and the lot. Must be something in the oil . A restaurant with a good reputation and have been there many times before but unfortunately we will not be returning. Stomach still not 100%

olivier merle

Always fresh and variety of seafood. Pricing can be premium at times but you usually get great quality everytime.

JO Grobler

Can't comment on the restaurant but bought some Barramundi fillets for my smoker, everyone loved the taste and quality! Very helpful and friendly staff.

Nivet Oldfield

$22 for 7 mini garlic prawns, c'mon, really, for a s seafood restaurant. ????????????

BREW HUNTER

Fish special was dry, had to lube it up with extra tartare so it didn't clog in my throat on the way down. How can you charge $26 for scollops when you only recieve 4? Service was sub standard for the prices they charge. My gin was so weak I could have mistaken it for a tonic water with a drop of gin rubbed on the rim of the glass trying to fool my senses. Regardless of my experience the venue was full of seemingly unsuspecting punters about to be dissatisfied with their evening. Try somewhere else on the strip until they get their act together.

Will

I don't really want to post this because then there'll be extra competition for the sushi they sell here. :) But honestly, it's some of the best sushi I've had in Perth. So fresh and clean, thick slices, generous servings of protein. All the natural flavours stand out, depending on your choice. All this for a reasonable price. They even sell proper sashimi grade fish next to these, so you know you can't get fresher sushi than Kalis Bros! Also the staff here are always so nice and friendly! Totally understandable when you can eat such great sushi whenever you want, it makes perfect sense.

Matt Bartels

Friendly staff service and great variety of seafood.

Jeff Yeo

Superbly fresh seafood! Great ambience and amazing service!

Elle Cassidy

Great food, amazing oysters, and really good service. However, the sauce for the Tasmanian salmon I felt was a bit too strong and it overwhelmed the rest of the ingredients in the dish.

Mas Brewok

They Boast only the best West Australian Water to offer , but my dinner company had the NZ flounder....... I wanted my wife to have a WA Crayfish and it could not have smaller . The Cray was full price but only the same size as the $20 crays at Woolworths ..... Disappointing to say the least. Grilled WA crayfish tasted nice. I had the Spicy lamb ribs ...... No flavour or spice at all. We did bring our own bottles of wine .. corkage was fine . We avoided the deserts ....which looked very nice . One young lady called Jazz was new and very attentive. The rest of the staff seemed bored with life.. The bill was over $300 ...... without Alcohol and deserts We will not be going back in a hurry.

First ⭐️ is for the location, situated in the heart of Leederville and large enough to accomodate large groups or small Second ⭐️ this I thought was different, they have a fish market next store that sells fresh fish, you can buy from there and they will cook it for you for a fee of course and their way. Loss of a ⭐️ the service is slower then slow, my friend showed up 15 min prior to my arrival and even tho the waitress walked by 3 times each time saying she would be back to take her order and didn’t . So we moved to the front of the restaurant in order to get served. Loss of a ⭐️ for terrible menu,it’s boring, for a seafood restaurant with all kinds of seafood at their disposal I expected much more out of their menu. Loss of the final ⭐️ for the over all performance of this restaurant and needs a lot of work if it wants a better review from me. I would give it a miss there are many other choices in the area.

Pat Procter

Great tasting, fresh fish and chips, never disappoints good size serving good prices.

Lei Zhang

Not a bad selection of seafood although over fishmongers in Perth have greater diversity. Very well priced. Produce is very fresh and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Ewan M

Pretty delicious seafood dinners at the restaurant here, and even their fish and chips is a bit of a gourmet twist without being all stupid and hipster. Safe to say - Kailis know their seafood, and their restaurant certainly shows it! Also nice beer selection - important with fish and chips ;)

Jack Casey

Had the caper burnt butter Rankin cod which was really really good. Fast service meant we made it to our film even though we didn't really leave enough time :)

Ange Haywood

Meal sizes for prices were not great. Food tasted great though. A number of our group were still hungry after dinner. Spacious. Friendly staff. Accommodating for 3 prams & allowed split billing.

Marie Ferraro

Great Seafood, so fresh, great friendly service, atmosphere is great, highly reccommeded if your wanting Seafood.

The Truth

Foulse costumer services , and we order 2 coffee with toast but it took i long time before they bring it , and then when it fanely arrived the toast was really really burnt , so we told them to bring better toast but it was still very burnt we couldn't eat it , but they didn't care , or try to fix it , " TERRIBLE ".

Anthony Buratovic

Plenty of seafood to choose from for Christmas lunch! No shortage here just had no time to get a photo.

Anthony Hermans

They can supply WA fish. Most other fish shops only supply a cheaper imported fish. Not at this shop it the real deal Great food . Kailis bros The name you can trust .

Kagumi Parasya

My friend recommended the sushi here. I went there for lunch and very happy with the portion, price and freshness ♥️

Yankang Huang

Very fresh local fish market. Talked to the manager there. The fishes comes from local contracted fisherman and their own fishing boats. If you wish to get some live lobster (small size) in summer season, you should go there early. And I visit this shop every week. :)

Love, live,laugh

Fabulous service, freshest of seafood. Consistently perfect ever time we've been.

Ari

Really good fish and chip take away (we ordered 5 pieces of crispy fried fish plus separate large serving of chips). Market fish was Spanish mackerel, cooked very well in a light coating of batter, lovely texture and flavour. Chips cut more thinly than usual (which is not a bad thing) and crispy. It matters to us the quality of the fish, that it's fresh and Australian wild caught or aqua-farmed in Australia, and Kailis Leederville didn't disappoint.

Benjamin Wraight

Lovely staff members and the food tastes great!

Lucibel Henderson

Have been twice this week, went back due to the wonderful service. Felt welcome both times, friendly service, no rushing. Food is yummy and reasonably priced too. I will definitely be back again soon.

Chris Clarke

Great food across the way from train and kids park. Food is definitely worth the money for it

Paul Steele

Always to quality fresh seafood, it is a bit expensive making it an occasional treat that is well worth it, try some, you will enjoy, just buy what is affordable

Allan Clutterbuck

It's pretty good. Food well prepared and fresh. Pricey for the quantity offered. Lovely staff that all make an effort to make the experience great.

Michael Hyde

Not cheap but top quality fish and chips, excellent service and family friendly. Oysters natural were great even though there were pieces of shell with the meat.

vance quart

we dine last Saturday food is great the staff is nice and the dessert very good the Tiramisu was so tasty as my mom said this one is better than before, she said before only you can taste is coffee but now is very good. and we do order as well other dessert like brulee and raspberry panacotta great flavour almost i wanted for more. we will back again. looking for more choice of dessert next time.

Rob Fredericks

I think the've lost the plot. As regular.( Breakfasts & Dinner's) The older menus were far better, suppose to be a seafood restaurant, not competing with all the asian food providers. Seam to have a high staff turnover lately.

Kevin Lunn

Best meal we've had this year just bloody wonderful

Yasmeen Khan

Much of the same post the COVID-19 crises with regards to delicious food and fresh produce that exudes Aussie goodness! What was disappointing was the service - we were waiting for our desert order to be taken but had the bill pushed at us with a follow up nudge to leave ... if the bookings have a capped time limit on it , best to be upfront and leave the decision to the patron on whether he wants to placed under duress at dinner ????

Darryl Moren

Just had a delightful meal at Kallis Bros in Leederville. Very friendly attentive staff. It was great being there and I felt indulged. The food was really nice. Definitely going back

amanda ewin

Thanks so much to Kailis for providing an incredible function venue. I’ve been to many events and my experience at Kailis was faultless. When I’m using my brain intensely good food is so important. The food was exceptional! Morning and afternoon tea and lunch was a delight and the service was attentive. Great coffee, leaf tea.... couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!

Mark Racz

As good the food is, just as quite overpriced it is. I would rather go to the one in Fremantle. The restaurant is a nice atmosphere and staff is good.

Rizal Farok

they have a great function room, and the coffee and snacks provided were really good. very friendly staff too.

Chris K

A little pricey but fantastic food, fresh and inviting menu. They also do take away fish n chips and have a few rooms to hire for a small conference / event.

lisa shearn

I always enjoy coming here. The food is always good and so is the service. The fresh fish market adjoining it is fantastic also.

B Forrester

Food was delicious and service was great, but the salmon was tiny and I left hungry. The salmon meal was literally a piece of salmon with a thin layer of quinoa and mushrooms. No salad, or veggies, or anything else

lexis tomic

KALIS USED TO BE AMAZING however now if you go to the fish market and look at the fish you can tell that they are not fresh ive even gone later in the week to see the same fish still there really needs to be fixed. Restaurant seems understaffed to ,however the staff that they have are amazing

Scott Forrest

The best selection of fresh fish, close to the freeway and good parking options outside or across the road.

Hayly Lim

Fantastic venue for corporate events. Staff are always friendly and professional, rooms are spacious with natural lighting. The food for functions has always been exceptional. We couldn't fault them as a venue and will continue to use them for all our training and staff events.

James Hodder

Good food, service was friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable. We were there quite early and parked right outside on the street.

M. A. Daniels

Attended a smallish function. Food tasted excellent. Service with a smile from all staff who were attentive guest and organisers needs.

Strav

Best quality seafood i have had in a long time

Max Anderson

I have never given such a low score, but the there was almost no fish in the seafood pasta and I came home hungry, not worth $34 for a small bowl of pasta with six mussels

mark riley

It's still a nice restaurant, great service with friendly staff but the mains weren't as good as last time. Unfortunately the fish was a little bit dry

Dan Robertson

Update from my original review: Had the 'quick bites' fish and chips again. As before, it was a small portion of fish but very good fish and chips. To fill me up I ordered a side of prawns. They were ok but at $14 for 4 x smallish prawns my meal was becoming costly. Add the $2 for parking outside and we are at $31 for a takeaway for 1 person....

Daniel De Rocker

fresh and quality products. Coming from Belgium, I asked for information on mussels to find the species closest to my country of origin. The server was very friendly and inquired to give me the best answer. Excellent service. I'll be back.

Tom Murphy

Best seafood in Perth! The market has always got a great range of fresh fish and it’s always a fantastic meal next door at the restaurant. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Allan 'Big Al' Connolly

Always a great seafood feast here.... today I was utilising their function centre for the launch of homelessness week.

Pauline Douglas

I enjoyed my oyster and prawns cooked just a bit disappointed of lack of fresh seafood .. considering it was attached to a seafood market .. but I enjoyed. Sweets too.

Andrew Tan

We can purchase fresh fish and get it cooked at the restaurant at a small fee. The food is yummy and service excellent. Highly recommended.

Keith Dean

Went there for lunch today. Food was delicious, and the dining area had a great atmosphere. Service was also honestly some of the best I have ever seen. Definitely plan on going again. Biggest plus was the room was actually well lit, unlike a lot of restaurants nowadays. Highly recommended.

Gamer Log

Kalilis Bros is a fantastic place everything is cool. Fishes are less money and there is a nearby by cafe. Everyone will love it

Wendy Nicholas

Wait wait wait! 10 mins to 11am signed in We were seated, drink order taken. Food order taken 11.45 lunch arrived. Almost an hour! The place is noisy Air cond is really cold ( others complained) I think because staff are on the move, the ac is cool....for them. We patrons are really feeling the chill, sitting and waiting far too long for food. Lunchtime patrons usually allocate an hour or so....evenings it isn't such a problem. We were rushing to eat, watching the clock for our parking fee. The food....excellent! One female staff member was way too overpowering....and loud! A tall young man was clearing tables. He was so polite, asked us if we enjoyed our meal. He was a perfect person to have in a restaurant. Polite, on hand but not loud and in your face. Not sure if we would return...... Siennas is very close by and they have customer service perfected.

Peter Walkemeyer

Great food and a pleasant ambiance. The staff are friendly, professional and courteous. Always a good dining experience. Probably some of the best sea food in Perth. The whole flounder is a treat that I have not found on a menu elsewhere.

Karina K

Was happy with my lunch - Fresh seafoods and lovely service.

Marlene Rattigan

We had an enjoyable evening with friends at Kailis last Tuesday evening, ably attended by the charming Daniel and had great food and great service. I have eaten here several times for both lunch and dinner and have found it uniformly good. For all you complainers out there, Perth restaurants are not cheap and fish is especially not cheap. Go to a fast food outlet if you want cheap. We recently went to a fine dining restaurant at Crown where probably the ambience was the only difference - oh, and the price! I didn’t find the food to be any better than at Kailis. I will keep coming to this great little find in Leederville. Keep up the good work!

Alis B

Food Is alright,price too expensive

Alan Evans

Had a conference there and it was well catered. Staff were awesome and super helpful.... Food is amazing

Joseph Wong

Great fresh seafood, quite possibly the freshest in Perth. You pay a hefty premium price for it, but they provide a great service. If youre after the lobster, just be aware that the size is quite small in proportion to the price.

Sally Walsh

Hands down best seafood market in Perth. Incredibly fresh, options that could have you eat seafood every night of the year. Sushi fridge, live crustaceans, fresh crusty bread, condiment & a fabulous restaurant right next door. I requested Spanish mackerel fillets as they only had cutlets in the fridge & he brought the whole fish out on his shoulder & asked if it was suitable! Perfect fillets & cooked up a treat. I buy fresh scollops monthly & cray recently for Christmas. Can not go wrong. Customer service is exceptional & I look forward to my visits.

Penelope Smith-Carter Dichiera

Would like to say Kailis have great product. Disappointed today when I purchased bagged cleaned mussels for convience and when I opened the packets I had a shock as they required cleaning. Paid an extra $4.50 and spent hours cleaning. !!!

Joh Y

Brought in international guests to Leederville restaurant last night. Table of 9 in private room. Terrible service. The staff were told that all the food were to be shared. Brought out 4 seafood chowders that were cold with no serving bowls. Only to be told by the waitress 'how many bowls do we need because the don't have enough serving bowls'! Then had to ask for spoons. Everything had to be asked and felt like we were imposing. She served us with a frown. The whole night was unpleasant Very embarrassing for us to bring international guests to. We were the biggest group there in a half empty restaurant. Supposed to be a happy time. Very poorly trained staff.

Gary Lim

Only commenting about the seafood market here: Great selection albeit being a small shop. Isn't cheap by any means but you're assured freshness as the clams, sashimi grade fishes and flavored seaweed I bought lasted for days.

Quazi Shahnoor

Had the Ocean trout. Good flavours but the portion size was spectacularly small.hope they consider that.

Allineate PD and Energy Work

These guys make a brilliant coffee! ???? I love coming in and having catch ups in their comfy booths, it's an ideal spot

Rosemarie Helmerand

Loved the food especially Chilli mussels and Flounder! Jason provided excellent service which made dining here more memorable. Really had a good feed. A walk into the fish market was interesting as you can purchase fresh fish, prawns etc

Maxwell Nevermann

The best fish then beautifully prepared and cooked in the restaurant

Dorian Menard

Great place for quality seafood. Did not even wait 15 secs to get served on Christmas eve!

Oscar Hermoso

Went to Kailis for breakfast, went at 7am on the dot, the place was empty so we had great service. I was very surprised, the prices were actually very competitive with the other breakfast cafes in Leederville. At dinner and lunch, you have to pay premium for the quality, but at breakfast you're looking about $20 per person including coffees.

Mark Dhu

Great food, lovely ambiance and friendly staff. Also well priced

Manda Jane

So... My water had dirt in it. When I told the waitress there was something in my water, she said, 'oh really' and I didn't get an apology at all. I did get a sorry when the 6 oysters came for our table not sure why she said sorry. Didn't ask if I wanted more forks for the oysters... Need better training for this $ point. I hope the food is OK.

Georgia Woolcock

Food was amazing, fresh, hot and tasty, service was impeccable, so friendly, very on the ball. Definitely want to go again to try the fish and chips.

UncleEagle Eye

Great seafood of every kind, dine in or sit at nice tables outside. Friendly service, lots of yummy side dishes..

Tim Hyder

Expensive but some of the best seafood in Perth

Mike Journo

Very disappointed with service - not only the time taken but also the inefficiency of the staff. You would not think ordering a simple scrambled egg would be so difficult and after nearly 25 minutes waiting I decided not to bother.

Marina Cornford

Recent visit was oh so disappointing, from the charging 12.50 to open the bottle of wine.. Small servings, some of them dry and tastles... Maybe just a day off for us and the chef, but won't be going again, not in the near future anyway!! Very pricey!!!

Hawk Duka

Food and service was good but not great. Portions were very small. Unfortunately poor value for money

Bill Atkinson

Before you die….you HAVE to have the Seafood Chowder here. It is absolutely divine. It does come with a small side of bread but it’s not nearly enough, get another serve of ciabatta bread from the entree menu. You will thank me later. I literally cannot recommend this more highly…I don’t even know the price nor do I care. ????‍♂️❤️

Hiking With Matt

Great taste, well cooked, top value for take away fish n chips! This is a popular fish supply company (very busy at Easter Good Friday). I've enjoyed several meals in the restaurant, but I do enjoy my fish!

Evey Temple-Bree

Reviewing the fishmonger: absolutely beautiful fresh fish with great advice about what fish to use for a fish curry (which is Rankin Cod!!). Always buy my fresh fish from Kailis.

Meggie Kaka

Quality of seafood is excellent. Selection is large. Slightly more expensive then supermarket.

Kathie Dore

So nice to have brunch here much less noise than many other cafes etc. Food and service was excellent.

Abel Property

We love being able to hold staff meetings at Kailis utilizing their private function room that has access to AV equipment. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the team always enjoys the great breakfast. - Allana Sear, Operations Manager

Mark Hassed

I presented a seminar in an upstairs room at this venue a few weeks ago. The room was nice and the food acceptable. The staff were helpful. It's rather strange to walk through a fish restaurant to get to the meeting room and the smell of fish upstairs was sometimes quite disconcerting.

Levi Castlehow

I love going to this place for breakfast. The kailis breakfast only costs $13.50, the wait staff are courteous and professional and you can sit in a booth! Only down side is the smell of fish from the fish market, but if you sit in the back corner you can't smell it.

Cham Kariyawasam

Kailis can do much Better! We came to leederville for a family dinner and decided on Kailis, which we been to a few times over the years. Their chilli crab linguine is a favorite. Unfortunately the last two times (including this one) we’ve eaten here, we’ve been disappointed! I had the barramundi, my wife the chilli mussels and my daughters both had the pasta! My meal was ok, I’ve cooked similar at home, and for the price I expected better flavour. My wife had the chilli mussels which was the stand-out dish, but really have to be bad to get this wrong! Kids really hated their pasta as it was super sweet, and they both said it was like eating a dessert. My wife and I also tasted it and we completely agreed. Oh the bread...it to was a standout and what my kids ate for dinner. We’ll be avoiding Kailis until the improve their menu, including the kids menu!!!

Federica Verdoni

This morning I went to buy some fish at Kailis Bros Fish Market for Christmas dinner. I came back home and opened the bag with the clams and... they were all dead (completely open)! I immediately called the shop and asked for explanations and the lady that I talked with simply replied "you can eat them even if not fresh, we always cook them in our restaurant, even the dead ones! It's 100% safe" Guys, please, tell me that is a joke.. The label said "fresh vongole"!! I spent $75 there this morning and now I'm very concerned about the freshness of the rest of my purchase. Absolutely disappointed..

Z Saleh

Great place if you are a seafood lover and happy to pay more for fresh quality produce. I highly recommend the lobster and market fish.

Vicki Valenti

Under whelmed ... Seafood Chowder was nice but nothing to rave about. Natural oysters were only just sized in my humble opinion. Not a great deal of love went into the desert. Sorry for my honesty in this review but being a food lover who dines out frequently I felt I could have prepared all of this at home with twice the content and for half the price we paid. Nothing on the table warranted a photo. Cannot recommend.

Poka Peeky

Nice meal and dessert. The service is nice. However, it will be great if there's soup for appetizer.

Simon Shaw

They don't just sell seafood! Next door to the Kailis fish market is a rather lovely cafe/restaurant. Excellent service, coffee and food options at some of the best prices in Leederville. Well decorated and make an excellent function venue. Staff friendly. Only negative is the minor fishy smell coming from the market, not bad though. Recommended.

Mauro Cusumano

Definitely the best fish shop in town! Superb quality and even sushi made fresh! Highly recommended!!! A+++

Camille Mayberry

Omfg amazing food always The fish was real, it was great. Also they have a gin menu totally yummy. Always great service. I love this place I hardly get to eat fish. Music is bad choice. There is always clattering dishes insde hopefully they will close the kitchen one day. Bad lighting no heat for outside, the stools outside for sitting hurt, the tables move because of 2 brakes on wheels instead of 4. They had no cushion for the stools. Still, 10 stars for the culinary delights. Amazing incredible food, Treat yourself.

Gavin Yap

Please improve your freshness for the fish. The standard has dropped ever since taken over by the new management! Don't mind paying more , but not for substandard quality!

Shastabavani Chandrashekar (Shazzy)

The food was really tasty, tried chilli mussels and seafood linguine it was really good. I brought my students twice to this place around 14 of us each and everyone of us enjoyed the food . The customer service, was really good they took the food order smoothly the food arrive on time. Definitely will be going back again .

Paul Wilson

Nice place with good food and coffee, but you have to be able to handle the fish smell. Great for morning breakfast meetings

Rudy Labordus

Great fish. Careful to allow plenty of time at Christmas time. The queues go for a while - they're open really late at this time to accommodate though so go late! :)

Johan Fourie

My minions give it 4 bananas. Quite a treat to see the live seafood in the fresh fish section. Staff friendly and establishment clean and tidy.

Pete Judge

Bought my visitors here for lunch, Thought i would be a great place to eat,....Sadly way Overpriced for a average meal, all our meals had little to no flavor, ...expected alot more from the feedback i was given, sadly this was not our experience today for a $240 lunch .

Fran Cormack

Came for Friday fish and chips. And was not disappointed. A good size portion and piping hot. A real bonus is that this is BYO so we complemented our dinner with a Mount Barker Riesling. A great evening.

Abhishek Mitra

Great food, friendly service, nice cafe atmosphere. I can highly recommend the whole flounder and the chef's platter.

Maxwin Chong

Such fresh seafood available. Yes the products may be a little expensive but the freshness is unmistakable! Clean and hygienic area with friendly staff members.

Shaun Silli

Awesome seafood, very fresh

jenelle griffiths

Beautiful range of seafood and masterful lunch menu????

Sarah Harris (spudjester)

Amazing food! Limited options of you don't eat seafood, but everything is delicious. I have grown to love a greater variety of fish dishes by trying different foods here. Knowing everything is great helped me be more adventurous with my food selections. They're already happy to answer questions about the food. Can't wait to go back.

Emily Patterson

When the magnetic pull to seafood reels you in. Delicious lunch, thanks Kailis.

Jason L

Good variety, well priced, and an all round seafood experience.

Christian Bitz

Great food, friendly staff and nice created atmosphere for a fudh/ seafood restaurant. Thanks

Norlizahwati Minen

Breakfast chilli scrambled eggs

Janine A Stewart

Excellent fish. Pricey, but you are paying for quality. In another league than standard fish and chips places. The fish is better, fresher, thicker and not over battered, with tastier batter. The restaurant smells fishy because of the fish market tho. Best fish in Perth.

Glenn Secco

Great fresh seafood. Purchased fresh scallops, garlic prawns and salmon sausages for a BBQ today. Excellent!

Perth Luxury

Used to go there every weekend for breakfast two years straight so they rewarded us with 10% off cards to use, then they took them away and our patronage went away. Giving it a 4 instead of a 3 because it's fish market (overpriced at times) does redeem itself.

Kortney Chung

The cashier lady is too rude & being racist, and I have asked to see if I can dine in... she just simply replied" what do you want!" yea. Right that's not a question... what she expressed was an exclamation ... Can't believe a civilization city n a modern restaurant would hire such poor - attitude staff.

Stephen Finch

Cool, nice smell of ocean from the fresh seafood room next door. Food good, service excellent. Relaxed atmosphere.

Dipak Saha

Nice display of seafood and team very helpful and responsive

Pat Firkins

Our Christmas Eve visit is traditional! The seafood is fresh and the best ????

Kornwara Kasemratanakij

Everything from the service to the food was on point.????????

Adam

What a great experience. Sauvignon Blanc from heaven with the Snapper, Chilli prawns and Squid. To cap it off we got lost in tiramisu and creme brulee. End note Ismail the barman was fantastic

Egg

Sardines on ciabatta was TO DIE FOR and worth way more than we paid. Crab linguini, oh my god so delicious and heaps of crab and lots of pasta. Very generous portions. Aperol spritz and SSB wine was fantastic. Wish I had room for dessert because that looked incredible too! I couldn’t fault anything, this was a 10/10 meal. Will be back ASAP, thank you ????

Deena Syed

Best place for fresh fish and seafood! Love the cafe also with some amazing dishes and choices. They really know their seafood that’s for sure!

Cynthia Gleeson

Goid place if you like fresh seafood food. Service is good, great location

Peter Snow

Excellent as Always! We have been holding our Board Meetings followed by dinner in Kailis's Glasshouse for several years now and are yet to fault the quality of the food and very attentive yet discrete service. Great venue, great food, great service! Peter J Snow OAM The Jaycees Community Foundation Inc

Rudnei sheldon Gimenes nogueira

Very friendly staff with great products

Stephanie Virgo

We were at Kailis for Melbourne Cup, it was nothing short of fantastic, the food was plentiful and delicious, the staff were wonderful friendly, attentive and good fun we had a wonderful time - thank you

Shelley

Love seafood fullstop! But I know an imported prawn from our delicious king or banana prawns! Using glassy vanamie prawns is not nice. Upside is chowder was still OK. Oysters beautiful and plump. Yum

alan private

Lovely quick ultra fresh lunch. Wonderful service. Wish I had had more time to stay and enjoy.

Mandy Monks

A fabulous venue for corporate events. The venue was beautiful, the staff and service was fantastic and the food was amazing. We will definitely be using Kailis Bros again.

Tony M

nice spot to hv some seafood! friendly staff over here!

Chris Parker

We had the fish and chips with our visitors from Melbourne. I think we arrived at a particularly busy time because the fish was not up to their usual standard. A bit soggy and tasteless. The venue is still great though.

Wes

Good value breakfast. More like 3.5 stars. Atmosphere let's it down. Food came cold but no problems getting it sorted.

Louise Anderson

I would have loved to have given 5 Stars, service at first was great as was the food and priced to be expected for Perth. The issue was once we had finished our mains our plates were taken away and we were left with empty glasses and nothing else. We were wanting to order another drink and some desert and tried getting the attention of the staff, but alas, we paid the bill and left hungry and they missed out on an extra sale. I could maybe understand if the restaurant was busy, but there were only a few people in there.

Kate M

Love it here. One of my favourite restaurants, fancy but not too fancy!

J Collins

Stopped in on my way home, I've never been here, I usually get my seafood from a place in innaloo, I thought I'd give them a crack. Got two crabs and a crayfish, 60 dollars. The crabs were terrible, mushy, more than likely had been frozen, which crabs dont tend to do well. The crayfish was a little better but overall I was left really bitter, especially after going there to see what was on offer instead of my usual fishmonger. Well that was short-lived, I won't be back. The place on the corner at innaloo shopping centre is the the freshest seafood I've ever had, and I'll learn from my mistake and never go anywhere else.

Jenny MC

Fresh seafood and friendly staff????????

Larry & Luci Greene

Served seafood linguine with mussels that I was told was not in meal and that I specifically did not want. Waiter took it back and maitre,d came over and I explained the story. Meal was returned in less than 5 minutes exactly as I asked and was very very good. A simple mistake but handled totally professionally. Would absolutely recommend this resturant

Lindy D'Mellow

Couldn’t get in to other restaurant we wanted in Leederville - what a godsend as we ended up at Kailis. The food was amazing, I had the salmon which could not be faulted and the cocktail of the day which was only $13, other places should take note. The service was excellent, our waitress knew the food and the ambience was great. Very impressed, I’ll be back.

Andrea Tobin

I’m not sure how so many people are raving about this Standards have definitely dropped I’ve been going for years and it’s just not the same I arrived at 8.55 pm last night to be abruptly told Id have to order immediately Fair enough 2 serves of fish and chips ,nothing hard about that for a fish restaurant Fish was lovely but the packet shoe string raw chips that were provided were disgraceful And sparse at that Lift your game Kailis Bros Clearly your management needs attending

Richard Clark

Been going to buy fish from there since Christmas amazingly helpful and really tasty at competitive prices. Today went to the cafe next door….OMG amazing 3 dishes drinks and a desert for me and the wife all for $120. Will definitely go back and well recommended. Thank you

Darryl Mears

Been here many times for breakfast. Great food. Great ambience.

George Warren

$39 for the plate, all tasted amazing

Mohammad Islam

I took my 13 year old son to Kailis Bros for a special meal yesterday - Sunday 23 June 2013. We bought the fish and mussels fresh from their adjacent fish market and gave it to their restaurant to cook. I asked for chilli mussels and my son asked for his trout to be grilled and served with some chips and salad. This was, according to my receipt, at 12:44pm. At 1:45pm my son and I walked out of the restaurant WITHOUT our lunch. The waitress and manager kept on apologising because "the kitchen" was taking "so long" to prepare our meals and offered us "free drinks" while we continue to wait. I politely declined their generous offer, paid for our drinks and left. The final outcome of my endeavour to have a "special meal" with my son at kailis Bros was an expenditure in excess of $60 on fresh fish we never got to eat. Most people in my position would have been excused for being angry, but I wasn't. This experience reminded me of a funny quote I read once that said: "The difference between 'genius' and 'ineptitude' is that genius has its limits". How true :-)

Ks Chung

Best fish and chip ever tasted. Price reasonable . Will come back again . Will recommend to friends

Andrew Thursby

Great place for a quick fish n chips, the snapper was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend. It goes without saying that any form of squid via food delivery is a tough, if not near impossible task however I ordered the crispy squid via Uber Eats and they delivered, it was perfect even after the delivery time.

Charles Kolar

To bad for my body because it tastes soo good. Not recommended for as a part of your slimming diet. Aint gona happen.

Margaret

Fish and prawns were very fresh and Staff were very helpful

Tania Hohapata

This is the 2nd time I have been back from previous years and still disappointed in the food. Wait staff awesome though.

Jo

One of the best places in Perth for fresh and local seafood. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable.

Penny Feszczur

Great seafood and staff go that extra mile to help.

Amran Ariffin

Don’t be fooled by reputation. It counts for nothing. This joint serves the priciest yet underwhelming seafood. Who in the right frame of mind serve Fish Tacos with Pesto, Sriracha & Coleslaw? No Salsa, no lime, no fresh Tortilla? You’ve got to be kidding! And the fish fillet, it is smaller than your kid’s pinkie. Add the “couldn’t care less” waiters & servers, this is an absolute rip-off. Please save your hard-earned money & go somewhere else to enjoy decent seafood meal.

karen hall

We went to Kailis Bros last night for our anniversary, we were seated and asked if we wanted water, which never came! we waited 10 minutes before any service, in that time staff were clearing away vacated tables. Finally we’re served, and enjoyed our meal, the food is always good, but the service is deplorable, you’d die of thirst before you’d get asked if you’d like another drink. You just don’t get it Kailis Bros, the drinks is where you’d make your most profit. We’ve been going to Kailis Bros restaurant and the seafood outlet for 10 years now, and the service has never changed, I like a glass or 2 of wine, but to get my glass filled is too much of an effort for staff, so now I just buy a bottle!

Heath Silcock

Great food. And the Manager June... Great Service. There was a funny moment though. Some lady was complaining abowit bones in her fish wings. I mean they are fish wings lol of course there will be bones!! If you want a cheaper experience there buy the seafood of your choice at the fisk market next door and they will only do a cooking charge!

Lisa Towler

Prompt, professional & friendly service. Seafood cooked to perfection, mouth watering flavours. Expertly enticed to enjoy dessert & coffee to finish our birthday celebration tonight.

Dre Dre

Wayne was awesome. Loved his service food was amazing

Vern McKay

Pricey and trades on name and reputation. Seafood is fresh but $70Kg for King George Whiting!??

Yi Zhang

food is nice, especially the crab linguine but portion is bit small and the food is quite pricey. will not recommend for big family gathering in which you want to share the food.

Smelly Mc

Love it! Great service and the best Mochas in Australia. Breakfast favourite is scrambled eggs with spinach, ricotta and flat bread. Absolute yum!

Greg Wallace

For a well established seafood restaurant that has a fresh seafood market next door, the menu is somewhat limited. Simple fish and chips was over cooked, dry fish with underwhelming chips. My wife had the miso salmon and after four mouthfuls couldn’t eat anymore because of the saltiness of the miso sauce. The oysters were tasty but at $4ea one would expect more than a bistro oyster. Our server was pleasant but others that delivered drinks were rude and not interested in doing anything extra like removing plates or empty glassware. Very disappointing meal for $195

John Firminger

Food was great staff were great especially lavinia would definitely cime again xx

Doug Lake

Another perfect evening here. The staff are attentive and the service top notch. Everything we ate was delicious. We are drawn back here time after time and are never disappointed.

Stu Hion

Worst seafood restaurant l have ever been to Ordered lobster, scallops and prawns all arrived cold and covered in some discusting cold buttery slime over them The lobster was the smallest l have eaten even after asking for a large lobster The scallops were slice up full scallops without roe, they had a sickening aniseed paste over them that was discusting Will never eat there again or recommend Kailis seafood products. During the mean the waiter came over and asked how the food was which l replied terrible, he said ok and left The whole thing was so expensive and not value for money at all Stuart Hion Scarborough

Peter Flanagan

The oldest and 1 of the best Seafood Mongers in WA. I have finally found a seafood shop that sells Flathead at a reasonable price. All the seafood looks fresh, fantastic service and plenty of parking available. I can't wait for our seafood feed tonight !!!

L C

Had fish and chips (no special fish just whatever is the usual) for 2 last night and scallops x 4. Came up to $52!!! Was not informed of the price over the phone and thought the fish and chips was going to be $30 and then maybe a little extra for scallops. Can’t see how 4 takeaway scallops = $22!! Other fish markets sell 1kilo for $15. Fish was tiny and about 70% was just thick batter. Chips were below average. We live 5 minutes drive away and chips were cold on arriving home. Would expect that’s the cardboard box they send takeaway in over wrapped paper. Wouldn’t recommend.

Basil Musca (Chipper)

We had our year end golf do at Kailis Bros and it was a sensational night. Service was first class and the food was delicious. The venue was perfect and the night was a great success.

Andy Walker

Really good friendly staff. first time I've been will definitely be returning during my stay in australia

Lasse Sørensen

A great restaurant for the whole family, excellent, a great socia,l noisy, and inviting eatery for all ages. The menu is not huge, but what is on the menu is superbly prepared, and well priced. If you come here with small children, you will experience the truly psychic nature of the service. Highly recommended.

Urban Karlsson

To expensive! In everything els this is a very good restaurant. The meal om the photos plus a glass of Chardonnay cost 50 AUD.

M H

Food was nice no complaints from the table. Staff friendly and available. My complaint as the one who paid the bill, value for money it is not. For the cost of my meal the serving was inadequate, at this cost I would have expected a larger serving offer what I got or at least a cheaper cost. Tasted nice but I have had better chips at other locations with more and cheaper.

Mirella L (Mimil)

Recently went for a birthday dinner with friends and was a bit disappointed as this is one of my usual fav go to spots. We shared a range of entrees, the calamari was good the garlic prawns were tasteless unfortunately. I also ordered the fish and chips grilled, no salad added any longer though the price is the same and my fish was over cooked. I did enjoy my desert though. Probably just an off night fingers crossed!

Emily Jones

Fantastic service. Food was of very good quality and we were looked after as valued customers. Excellent experience

Ross Zoccali

Breakfast function for 20 Outstanding service and professionalism from our waitress Lisa. Made it a memorable morning

Nicole Maree

Tried some posh takeaway fish & chips from here this evening and was impressed. We had grilled Spanish Mackerel and Chips. So light but tasty and for the extra expense so worth it. The homemade tartare was the best and lots of lemon wedges topped it off.

Lyn Norbury

The BEST fresh seafood. Charming service. This lovely young man stopped his cleaning, stacking, etc and spent a lovely stress free 30 minutes with me. Answered all my questions (some of them were totally vague. I didn't really know what I needed but he patiently answered all of them, even went off to check with someone else) I had a terrific time. Procured top of the line seafood and out the door by 7.30 a.m. Don't go anywhere else. Head directly to Leederville

Mary Y

We had Oysters, Costa plate, Flounder, Linguine etc... The Oysters were super. So was the Flounder, juicy - very well done.

Ian Mason

Amazing quality Open Sundays

Lynne Williams

We had a great experience at this restaurant, mainly due to Deeana, who served us for the evening. From advising on menu options to suggesting a fantastic wine with our main, she was fun and very knowledgeable. Our meals were gorgeous too, fresh with good flavours. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Sandra Taylor

Food was good as usual. Place was packed so service a bit slow but we were given a delicious free Thai appetizer to eat while we waited for main course.

Paul St Jack

I asked for a whole side fillet of salmon, which they took from a whole fish quickly while I waited. Bbq'd medium rare in smaller portions last night, absolutely perfect.

Angie Teng

Impressive service! Lobster is simply yum. Dessert is lovely and loved how they demonstrated! Check it out!

Krusty Theclown

Good food, very central in leederville. Nice starting point for a dinner before a night out. Waiter service a little slow. Specialised on sea food.

Gemma Boston

too expensive , rude staff who spent half the time chatting rather than attending to customers .

Michael

Takeaway fish and chips are fabulous. Ask what fillets are available to go off the standard take-out menu (though more pricey).

Zine Zine

My go to spot for seafood, amazing! There's always variety but shame theybgot rid of the Tiramisu :( I'd go there just for that at times!

Fen Yang

Bought a whole pink snapper for 50bucks and its not fresh at all. Mushy.

M Peters

Went for breakfast this morning and coffee, fresh juice and breakfast as photos. Very tasty thanks and service from Lavinia & Swarna was friendly and helpful ???? Then it was great to be able to stock up on fish from the adjoining fish mongers at Kalis and Kylia helped us which the amazing choose of fish available ???? Thanks guys, we’ll be back ????

Maddy Saraz

Was very impressed until I saw 50 lobsters stuffed into a tiny tank. For a place which prides itself on it's seafood quiet disappointing to see the respect they have for it.

Alan Malcolm

The best and freshest fish restaurant in Perth, I reckon. I have eaten here several times recently and the service and food is outstanding. Every cafe owner in the Leederville bubble should eat at Kailis, study their service then go home to their trendy decor and figure how to actually match Kailis' expertise. Last time I ate there I had the "market fish" Spanish Mackerel cooked to perfection, with a flavorsome salad and complimented by a delicious Shiraz for me and a rose for my companion. The service was outstanding as usual. 5 stars for this venue.

Tho T

Had dinner there 8/11/20 ... Was great and every member of the staff at kailis were fantastic and should be commended.. see you again soon

Susan Rigg

I had the best fish and chips I have had in many years. The fish was absolutely beautiful, incredibly fresh with a lovely homemade tartare sauce to boot! I live in Mandurah, but may have to make a bee line for this restaurant when I am in Perth!

baileyismobydick

Had the Costa's chef plate cost us $39, very small portions, nicely cooked though. Had to ask twice for water, also had to ask for wine list. House made desserts looked delicious.

Alison Melling

This is my second visit within seven days. If you are into seafood then this is the place to eat as it is always so fresh it seems like it is still swimming. Have had the chef's share platter twice now and was terrific. Tonight also had the flounder tonight. Have never been interested in flounder as a fish before but this was cooked to perfection. Thw warm olives with charred garlic bread are also a must. Service is very good. The girls are cheerful, always smiling and unobtrusive. If you want a pleasant dining experience then this is the place where you will not only you enjoy your meal but the whole experience.

Helen Papathanassiou

Good selection of fresh seafood and very knowledgeable staff. Very customer friendly. Also cafe has great menu options.

Harry Fidzewicz

Used to be our favourite restaurant that serve excellent food, but no more. Will not go again.

Aaron Watson

My family and I had a lovely dinner here this evening. The staff and service was implacable and the food was faultless. This location is an absolute must.

Jen Sangsoko

Seafoods were fresh but tastes were just okay

Sibus Kry

Sometimes I find it hard to give five stars but I can't give Khalis less than four. Service was excellent, pricing and meals were good. The restaurant is a little bit outdated but it's comfortable.

Joy W

We went there for mussels special in early Oct. It wasn’t a busy night even we have booking, they still let us to sit in the middle close to other tables, can’t have a nice talk cause we were so close to everybody. They could have just let us to the booth hence the table was too small for our food. Food was good but pricey.

Cheryl Cooper

A little disappointing as tropical dishwe usually get has been removed. Service is good and quick.

Joshua Gallagher

Has fallen badly over the last couple of years. For a fish restaurant there is hardly any fish on the menu - go figure! We had possibly the worst restaurant experience there a couple of weeks ago and because of that will never go back. Do yourself a favour and stay away!!

Jarndu

My go to place for all things seafood. Love the helpful staff. Live lobsters and abalone. Also saw they had cooked SW marron available today.

R C

Not good. Having to wait 40-45 minutes to be served when we had a booking and the restaurant wasn't busy was too long. The whitebait was less than warm when served, not crunchy at all and underwhelming in flavour. The chowder was far too salty. Overall very overpriced and I was still hungry when we left. We ended up stopping by the busy pizza restaurant a few doors up where the service was great and food delicious. This is the second time in as many visits that we did not enjoy our meals so I won't be returning.

michael scanlon

Very good service the main dish crispy skin samon needed (something missing) sauce a bit bland. all other dishes white bait & sardines were very tasty indeed

tkfsung

Expensive, but high quality seafood matched with excellent cooking skills.

jeannie dimov

Faultless! Service was excellent, the food was beyond delicious - presented well and cooked to perfection, not to mention the awesome cocktails that are well priced and yummy. Can't wait to come back.

Aaron Coates

There's better restaurants in terms of food for the money around Perth. The service is top notch though.

scott woolfe

Love this place. The marinated shark Bay scallops are phenomenal!!!! Nom nom nom

Eleanor Pullella

Menu was extensive. Food excellent, fresh and well presented. Service was great. Staff were attentive without been intrusive.

Liz Walford

We visited Kallis Restaurant for an evening meal which was quite acceptable. Table service was exceptional. However, beware, the meals are totally overpriced. To charge $38 for 4 pieces of small whiting with a handful of thin chips and a rocket salad is unexceptable. The same can be said for the chef costa's plate which consisted of 3 small prawns, a few squid, fish and chips with no salad. Well we won't be back ever. We will spread the word and go somewhere where one gets a decent deal for their coin. Lift your game!!

Allen Howell

Friendly and helpful staff good range of well prepared seafood menu items and plenty of options on the wine list.

Belinda Jane

BEST seafood restaurant in Perth. Been many times and can't fault it. Thank you Kailis team!!

Joe Tod

The food was good. The service was good also. Well patronised on a Saturday night. The decor was basic but we went there for the food. Parking is close at the back but it's busy to find parking so be patient.

Christopher Gleeson

Took the family for fish and chips at Kailis Brothers in Fremantle. Big mistake. What a rip off. All West Australian eateries want is the most money for less food. $20.00 for a single bit of fish and a hand full of lousy tasting chips !?! MORE if you dare to want it grilled!! And don't ask for an extra bit dried out fish, they'll charge you almost another $20.00 $4.00 for a carbonated soft drink Almost the same for a bottle of water !! And if your wife wants a little something else from the wallet draining menu, like a tiny prawn cocktail that's $6.00. Walked away a $100.00 lighter. For fish and chips??? Won't recommend it, will never return. Bad service. Dirty. Crowded?! Food sucks.Very expensive. Thanks Mr Kailis. Enjoy that money

A Dude

Meh. Went Xmas eve, Frozen prawns, frozen oysters. Asked staff if they had fresh to which they said no. Really surprised considering it's one of the premier seafood shops in Perth.

Melissa Mulcahy

Two of the smallest pieces of fish... barely bigger than a kids chicken nuggets... packed in a nice brown cardboard box & a nicer brown paper bag with handles. Also included thicker than average serviettes. The chips were very average many still had potato peel on one or 2 side, no crunch included. All 2 bites of fish tasty lovely & were crunchy... but @ $14.50 made me wonder if it was an over priced entree. Finished & still hungry. So massively disappointed. Never have I ever eaten a serve of Fish and Chips and still been hungry - usually it's a dish I struggle or can't finish.....

fa982003

A good place in the heart of Leederville. Authentic sea food. Not a really extensive menu but some of the options are interesting. A bit pricey and a restaurant on the upper side of the price spectrum. We tried the Seafood Chowder which was nice and was $23 a bowl served with two tiny pieces of bread. Overall not a bad place and food, and I will surely return to try other options.

P

The Cafe/Restaurant was at approximately 20% capacity when we arrived tonight for a meal. A bored and apathetic staff member informed us (with a sour expression) that the restaurant was full. It wasn't, nor would it be an hour and a half later when we walked passed again. This was an obvious attempt to minimize her workload, and avoid the inconvenience of the company actually profiting from our business. Its a sad state of affairs that this is what Perth has come to..

Jodie Frost

Ordered 3 mains waited 40mins on a Friday arvo not super busy people around us being served when they arrived after us. One meal was cold others fine, food tasted good that wasn't cold.

stephen waton

I could of got cheep king prawns for the local supermarket, pay a bit more and get the goo one's

Samantha Jennings

Had the NZ fish, it was huge and sooo good. So full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend the chilli mussels too; )

Lonely Trekker

Absolutely terrible. Overpriced (36 dollars for fish and chips) chips were overcooked dry and cold. Tiny bit of rocket with 1 cherry tomato and a slice of parmesan.. beef cheeks small serve for price paid. Child squid was tough and rubbery and I think oil needs changing in fryer. 150 dollars for lunch and it was disgusting. Complain to staff oh we are sorry maybe next time it will be better. No. There is no next time.

Martin Bradley

I watched my order sit on the shelf for 8 minutes while kitchen staff argued with serving staff and other serving staff ran around trying to look busy , when I received my fish and chips X 2 the chips were cold and soggy !!!! Complete incompetent chaos !!!! I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR BAD FOOD !!!!! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND KAILIS BRO'S LEEDERVILLE ☹️☹️

Brian Whitmarsh

Was not impressed with the food I had the chilli mussels was burnt. The size of the small meals to the high price is not worth it.

Helen Dawber

Restaurant is set up beautiful inside, friendly staff, best quality food, what more can you ask for

Aldona Rusinek

$110 for a seafood platter for two and we both walked out still hungry! Not much for over $100 , squid was super salty, tiny portion of fish no salad or chips, no mussels... dont waste your money! Never going back again

Ming Johanson

Always great services. Food is delicious.

Michael Bradley

ONE OF MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANTS, HAVE BEEN A REGULAR FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. YOU DONT GET SEAFOOD ANY FRESHER THAN AT KAILIS'S. THE MENU HAS EVERYTHING FROM THE SEA ON IT, YOU CAN EVEN GO TO THE FRESH FISH DEPT NEXT DOOR, PICK OUT FISH ETC AND THEY WILL COOK IT FOR YOU. GOOD WINE LIST, AND DESSERT SELECTION.I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL HERE,HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ???????? ANOTHER VISIT TO MY FAVOURITE EATERY, TODAY, I SELECTED A CRAYFISH FROM THE WET FISH DEPARTMENT,AND GOT THEM TO COOK IT FOR ME,COST 500 GRAM CRAY $60 PLUS PLATE FEE $17.50 TOTAL $77.50. THIS WAS MONEY WELL SPENT,THIS WAS A REWARD SELF PROMISED,NOW I AM CANCER FREE AND GETTING BACK TO NORMALITY TRY KAILIS BROS,YOU WONT REGRET IT!! SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF,AND A VERY SPECIAL MENTION TO SHELVY,NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE,SHE MADE OUR VISIT VERY SPECIAL. THE TOILETS ARE THE CLEANEST I HAVE EVER SEEN,A VERY IMPORTANT AREA ,OFTEN NEGLECTED BY MOST. ????????????ADDING A PHOTO OF THE MAN WHO WRITES ALL THESE REVIEWS,AND ALWAYS HAS THE CAMERA READY.TAKEN AT THE KAILIS BROS FISH RESTAURANT. WHAT IS MY FAVOURITE MEAL,I AM EATING IT INTHE PHOTO "" CRAYFISH"" STILL BATTLING CANCER OVER 5 YEARS NOW, HAVING RADIATION AND CHEMO TABLET TREATMENT AT THE MOMENT????????????????????

Matt Ladkin

Shop layout has changed and the standard and variety of seafood on offer has dropped considerably.

Philip Weeden

Every dish was yum. Service was exceptional. Great night out. For large groups or small.

Dileep Kuriyan

Food and service was mostly great..... But overpriced/expensive

Robert Klein

Went there at 4am for Christmas Eve marathon, served by such a friendly guy. It was pleasant and great price. ????

Karen

**DANIEL SAVES THE DAY** I was left high and dry by the Oyster Bar Elizabeth Quay on Sat 12 Dec 2020 as they were unable to provide me with a seafood platter for a special family event after their staff went on strike because of the heat?! Frantically, I called Kailis and spoke to Simon and told him aboutf my predicament. I was so stressed out!! Simon worked his magic and moved heaven and earth to put a seafood platter together in time. My guests loved the quality of the seafood and I will always be thankful to Simon for going above and beyond so my event wasn't a complete disaster.

Trudi Ralph

Nice restaurant, good food and good service. Unfortunately the smell of fresh fish from the kalis market located inside the same building was definitely a put off to my friend

Carmel Ross

High quality, very fresh seafood. Organised well, with excellent customer service, especially at peak times.

Gspot Keys

Had a birthday dinner, the food was excellent overall, especially the seafood chowder. Obviously the seafood would be fresh cos the restaurant is owned by the seafood suppliers themselves. Was not impressed with oysters, way too small for the price. So were the lobsters, not great value but well prepared. The dishes that impressed us were the octopus, garlic prawns, chilli mussels, fremantle sardines, scallops & the seafood platter. We couldn't decide which dessert to pick, so we ended up ordering every one of them! It was sinful but thank God we did. Absolutely no regrets. The ultimate favourite was the ginger creme brulee. Before I end my review, I would like to make a comment about the staff. Very attentive, understanding, hardworking, entertaining, knowledgeable, informative & helpful. Our table was mainly served by Lavinia/Lavania, such a charming & bubbly young lady that catered to our fussy needs. She deserved a good tip, but unfortunately she logged off work before we paid our bill. Anyway, 3 big cheers for Lavania! Will definitely be back on our next trip to Perth. Forgot to mention, there's also a convenient carpark behind the building for restaurant guests.

John Mahler

I was impressed how fresh and fast my order came out. Will return to this join.

Doreen Wong

Snapper was perfectly cooked, soft in the middle, but crispy on there edges. Just the way i like it. Oh, and excellent service too!

Mark Williams

Unfortunately not as good as it used to be. Gone from one of the best restaurants in Perth to more like a pub food. The food is still nice but not top shelf anymore.

Sue James

My first purchase of cooked crabs for the season sadly overcooked and mushy, I only buy cooked crabs because I don't know how to do myself.. maybe I'd better learn

Lin Jiaying

keep oyster fresh, and put source on top,the Crispy Skin Tasmanian Salmon taste better with source, better drink sparkling water ,can feel orginal taste of food❤️ chill mussel also not bad

Surajsingh Jagai

Great place. Food is really nice and super fresh. Smell of fresh fish as fish market is next door

Aylton Alves da Silva

The quality of the products they sell is great. Their cafe next door is also very very good.

Fishn Chips

36 bucks for fish and chips thats barely edible, hair in the beef cheeks and 2nd one took 25 minutes to arrive.. yes wont be going back there again

Les Finn

Wonderful food and very good customer service. Prices on the moderate side. Very fresh with the Kailis Bros fish outlet right next door????

Niwoj Niwoj

Spot on! From food, ambiance and service

Deena Aly

Such a disappointing visit. Drove to the city especially to buy quality seafood for a special meal. The oysters were just dreadful. The crayfish was well below average. $120 for ingredients for a meal - and it was awful.

Carlo Romansky

Called in for late lunch. Food was lovely & fresh. Little bit pricey but I suppose money does not go far these days.

Suzanne Griffiths

Food and drink very overpriced average quality, staff friendly

Larry Davies

Quality prawns at a great price. Knowledgeable staff wonderful sushi.

jeffrey aaronson

VERY NICE THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT SERVICE WAS SPOT ON . I SUBTRACTED 1 STAR BECAUSE I THOUGHT THE LOBSTER WAS A LITTLE BIT SMALL FOR $78 IF YOU GO THERE AND LEAVE THE LOBSTER ALONE VALUE FOR MONEY AND TOP QUALITY TOP FISH AND WORTH THE 5 STAR RATING
