Great seafood options. Quality is amazing, definitely worth the trip. Got live Mud Crabs, Giant Tiger Prawns, Oysters and Scallops (frozen). All fresh and couldn't fault anything. The scallops whilst frozen were still great and tender, even better than fresh scallops I've purchased before.

Make sure to arrive early to grab the freshest seafood. Enormous variety of fish starting from 10$/kilo + my fav squid. And now they have frozen octopus tentacles! Yummmm!

Great range of seafood. It is self serve which is great if you want to find the right portion size you want. Although it is serve yourself, there are plenty of helpful and knowledgeable staff about. The seafood was amazing and still very fresh when cooked the next day.

Open Friday and Saturday morning, a great place to grab fresh seafood. Good location and adequate parking. Friendly staff and a real sense of locally sourced product. Some snap frozen seafood is also a available. The seafood is a little pricey but you know you're getting freshness and quality. I'll definitely be back.

We've been buying our seafood from here for many years now. If you are after a whole fish like a salmon or barramundi, it's usually $1 - 2 cheaper than other seafood outlets. They clean and fillet the big fish for free but charge a fee to clean small fish. They also sell off cuts like fish fins and heads which is popular in Asian cuisine. A good variety on the Saturday.

Its a very nice fish people at Bassendean..they sell fresh fish with all cleaning service. I buy a whole big fish skin off fillets in pieces and head and spine in separate bag. Crabs squids and lobsters alive. Its a fish lover's paradise and easy to get there too. Staff are very friendly and service minded. Shouldnt miss this place if you get to buy some fresh fish. They are whole salers too. And its cheap

Bought some squid and snapper in Catalano's Bassendean outlet, the cashier asked if we want the snapper cleaned, we bought 4 pcs but when we got home only 2 pcs in the bag???? We didn't check the bag before leaving as we trust them, didn't realise how dishonest and pathetic the staff, they are willing to ruin their name for a few pcs of fish???? I sent a message in their fb account and hopefully Catalano will do something about it and escalate the issue to reprimand the staff involved otherwise they will lose customers.

Don't bother coming up here, worst service ever bought 2 fish, get it clean and gutted. But we never got our fish as they gave it to someone else instead, so inefficient come on I'm talking about 2 fish here not a dozen. fair enough they refunded our money. Have been going to this place for the last 6 years and I wouldn't buy my fish anywhere else. They used to only open up on Saturdays which made it difficult but these days they are open all week long. Warning! You should get there nice and early if you want the best selection of seafood. Price is very reasonable and they will happily cut the fish in any fashion that you want. Just remember that you will have to wait for a bit while they do it????
