The fish, chips, calamari was really good. But it was really uncomfortable to hear the owner/chef/boss yell and berate younger staff members in front of a room full of customers complete with expletives. It was awful to watch. If you need to correct staff members don't do it in public. Walk it off if need be - don't explode at them.

After a big swing working away was incredibly disappointed as all four of us threw our dinner out . As squid was burnt and shrivelled up and the rest was not much better( inedible being the word ) . I always strongly believe in supporting your local businesses, however after my partner called to advise about the quality the owner was rude to my partner and more concerned about our appearance than the quality of his food .

The boss's behavior was terrible, screaming and swearing at his staff with shop full of customers. There were mistakes with the order because the staff were under so much pressure. The F&C we received was excellent, even if incorrect. But I wouldn't be back to support someone who treats his staff that way.

Phone order was easy and ready on time. All well cooked, not overcooked as can happen with any F&C shop. Fish and squid rings were delicious, good amount of chips for 2 people. Young kids serving were excellent.

I would not recommend or go back to this place my mate and I ordered a fisherman's surprise from them this evening all the things that were in the meal were old stock and over cooked and dry. The fish itself tasted fishy which demonstrates how old it was

Pretty good Fish and Chips here, had the Snapper and Potato Scallops so crispy and delicious and prices are great, the Scallops are a great alternative to chips, I will certainly be back

I have never met such a rude business owner, after asking why my order of only $2 worth chipes was taking over 30 minutes the owner became very offensive and told me not to come back again. After ordering fish & chips from this business over 20 years, I will be taking my business to Southlands. Lets hope nobody else questions the owner because he can not take any criticism.

Cooking good fish and chips is an art form. Not many get it right. These guys nailed it. Golden fish and chips, lightly salted, fresh oil and no greasy residue in the wrapping. "I'll be back" :-)
