To this day this firm has a rating of 3.9 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is very good, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the rating is very accurate. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Fish Shop is classified in the category of Sushi restaurant.
Food was Medicore, lunch special was 20 each for 2 of us but we didn't finish a couple items because we didn't like them and they charged us $17 extra. A bit excessive. Won't be back.
I always have such a prompt and personable time. Also the food is always delicious! I would highly recommend Koi Sushi
I enjoyed the sushi and tempura very good and fresh.
Friendly quick service. Good food.
Great food
Really high quality sushi, and good service. Really enjoyed this restaurant.
We love sushi and we were delighted to find this little gem! Great fresh food, fast and friendly service! We will definitely be back soon!!
limited menu options and service is horrible
Great sashimi, great service. Very nice place. I recommend it.
It's an amazing local sushi restaurant, definitely worth the all you can eat for lunch
Great service, friendly, fast, good sushi. Not the best sushi I've had, but definitely hit my craving for sushi. Had to go pick up since delivery would've been $13, but otherwise no complaints.
Brown avocado in the rolls. Off tasting.
Well I like it here. You like sushi? Then come here. Nom nom nom sushi. ...I wouldn't mind some water tho...where did my waitress go?
Friendly staff, remembers who I am. Take that as I frequent sushi too much or the staff is nice.. You are not wrong either way. Good food. Will continue to eat there.
Food is pretty good. Writing up your own order from the menu can be confusing but the all you can eat option is generally worth it and the kids love it! Service is average.
Very large establishment with plenty of parking. All you can eat menu is decent. They dont rush you and they actually bring you everything you ordered. Not bad if you're in a hurry.
Sushi was just ok. Chicken Pad Thai had as many sprouts as noodles; as well as cabbage? The chicken tasted like it was fried in very old oil. All you can eat for $26, but I didn't even want another helping after the first.
Delicious food!
When this place opened it made me love sushi now it is a poor representation of what a sushi restaurant should be. It is not worth the money to eat here, they do not add anything to the rolls, nearly all rice, al la carte menu is meager …
I've been here several times and am never disappointed. Food is served up fresh in record time. On average you can expect a pickup order to be bagged and ready in 20 minutes (30 min during dinner). Staff are always friendly.
The quality of the food here is amazing, absolutely love all of the options
Food and staff were excellent the ascetic my not be perfect but the eating and staff are so enjoy great food fast and friendly service at an affordable price you will not be disappointed
I am a regular here because of lack of all you can eat sushi in orillia. food is good. service can be very bad. depends on the type of orders you make and how busy they are. I always come back with 50 50 expectations.
Good food but the portions were extremely small considering how much money I spent on take out.
Selection for the all-you-can-eat buffet was a little Limited that the food is all prepared
Worst experience ever. Horrible service. Took forever to get our food then when it came they threw it on the table not even telling u what it was. Took 2 hours to get everything we ordered. I'll never go back or recommend this place ever. Staff is very unfriendly. And hope you don't want a refill on your drink cause they won't come and ask. Horrible experience all around. They were actually serving our desert before they finished serving the main course.
Great, affordable all you can eat sushi
Good food, good price.
Love this place! Friendly staff, huge menu, fresh quality ingredients.
The food is good, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable
Food has always been really good here , I find the dinner price is a little high but for lunch it is good, I took one star off strictly because of the ambiance it's not a cozy feeling restaurant more about get in eat and get out . The staff was super friendly as always.
If it take out or dine in, everything is always fresh and good quality!
Owners friendly, helped me order and made suggestions as I did not have a menu at hand at time of ordering. …
Always so yummy!
Service is slow staff is not attentive. We were having cocktails and drinks with lunch. I was disappointed when I got the bill. Drinks over priced but the food we were overcharged because we had a few bites remaining. The lady in the front desk i assume the owner said look at the back of the menu it's in fine print. You get double charged for all you can eat per person. I shall take my business else where. Be aware and alert.
This restaurant used to be my go to for sushi. Now all, all you can eat options are almost all rice and no fish/ veggies. It is disapointing that they have compromised food quality to maximize profits. Choose Sushi Wadasi as they are the best in Orillia
I had takeout on a Friday night and the rolls were very good and fresh, the flavours were good. I love that they have veggie rolls. Also the salmon sashimi had lots of flavour and tasted super fresh.
Reheated precooked garbage...atmosphere gloomy half lit with t.v. on. Never going back.
Nothing is better than All you can eat Sushi, my son and I enjoyed, cheese wontons, tempura vegetables and crab, and an assortment of sushi. Everything was fresh and tasty and brought out quickly. Will definitely go again.
We were really craving sushi and have only had not-so-good sushi in Orillia. So we decided to try Koi Sushi - holy cow!!! Not only is the fish delicious and fresh ... even the soy sauce is totally delish. Thank you so much Koi for making sushi a possibility in this town
Very tasty, nice portions & service... Even offered us a 10% discount when paid in cash for all we could eat. Thank you!
Great tasting food! My boyfriend and myself have been comming since the day they opened. The owners are really friendly and always treat us very well. They make us feel like family when we walk in. The food is made fresh and always come sour fast. I would suggest everyone to try this place out !!
Probably my favourite sushi place in barrie or orillia, always fast, good portion sizes
Fish cut way too thick to enjoy.
I have been to Koi Sushi multiple times. Not a fancy place, but the service and the food is very good.
Good selection and consistent quality.
2 1/2 stars really. Sushi 3 stars. Unfriendly service 2 stars. And me stupid felt compelled to tip for this takeout because of covid-19.
Not the best sushi ive had but was ready in like two minutes i leave you to decide if thats good or bad . great survice though
We live in Orillia and would frequent this restaurant often in the past. Then it happened to change ownership and food quality has diminished. We havent been here in a while and thought we would try it out. Today our server was pleasant enough but was not attentive at all while there was only one other table in the entire restaurant. Our water was never refilled and we came to realize that food quality had diminished even further. To top things off their lunch prices have gone up. Higher price/lower quality overall.
Good sushi
The worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. Food was good.
Top notch in a small city. Took me forever to visit this restaurant but im glad I finally did. Good is great, price is on par with other sushi joints. High recommend.
Wontons are lacking in substance all of their spicyrolls are 90 percent Panko crumbs and taste like sawdust. General tao chicken is good though
Great value for All You Can Eat for lunch time. The dinner time menu is a little pricier. But both menus have lots of options for food, which is great because I love having variety. The quality of fish is what you’d expect at any AYCE sushi restaurant. I’ve been twice and will be back again next time I’m looking for sushi in Orillia.
Great food at a great price
Great all you can eat sushi!
The food is fairly fresh and good. Not many people speak good English there and it can be hard to communicate, very sneaky about their service. Purposely take a while to deliver your food so you feel more full, not collecting new orders right away. Although it is fairly calm. Only rarely do I feel ripped off, once they brought me avocado rolls instead of red dragon because I made a 'mistake' avocado rolls have no expensive meats on them so their obviously much cheaper. They won't put much salmon or fish on top of dolls usually and once gave me none at all! Iv'e been pretty furious after leaving but over all it's a 3 because I don't mind it too much. I always feel guilty handing in more orders like they're mad at me and it is very uncomfortable.
The best sushi around! Come here all the time!!!
New restaurant and delicious food!!!
Great food and great staff.
The food is awesome, we love this place.
Not bad for All you can eat, they are lacking on variety compared to other All you can eat Sushi restaurants
Take out
Was far better than I expected. Real good food!
Love the food, always fresh. Mango Crab Sushi is my favorite. Staff is always great. Love the family owned feel.
Amazing food. Quiet atmosphere clean. Would give a 6 out of 5
Pfffft. Is there really a bad sushi restaurant? Friendly staff, fast service awesome food!!
Was a little skeptical with all the mixed reviews but the food was good. Left with no complaints and had a great time with my friends.
Great all you can eat. Fast. No frills. Fresh
Best quality of sushi in the area unless you are looking to drive to a large city
We visited this restaurant for dinner with family and while the food was ok we felt it was over priced and the service was lacking. We don't think we would go back.
Unfortunately this was the worst sushi I've had. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Besides the 6 rolls of crab sushi it was disgusting. I got a 30 pc combo and it was terrible, I'll probably never order from here again. $50 for this
As someone who frequents AYCE sushi joints often I'm aware that quality service isn't really the main focus of the experience, also the quality of food in AYCE isn't as good as from the a la carte menu, and factoring in the restaurant being in Orillia, I thought I had reasonable expectations going into the experience. However, I was still unimpressed. The food is meh. But I wasn't expecting the best AYCE sushi in Orillia. The service though was garbage. I came with my mom who isn't a sushi person but was looking to order some of the non raw fish entrees (pad thai, etc). When we were talking to the waitress about the AYCE vs a la carte options and my mom mentioned she doesn't eat sushi, the waitress scoffed and rolled her eyes IN FRONT OF THE BOTH OF US!!! I almost got up and left right then and there. From there the service continued to be disappointing. The waitress barely spoke to us unless absolutely necessary. And when she did speak to us it was with an attitude of annoyance and like we were bothering her by being there. Like we were just annoying her by our very presence. Not only that when she dropped off our order of rolls I asked "which roll is this?" and she told me it was a philidelphia roll. To which I responded "I didn't order one of those". I asked her for more napkins and she didn't even respond she just walked away. We ordered drinks and she slammed them down on the table when she came back. It was just really off putting. It seemed like we'd done something to offend her. After our first order, which clearly was our first since we only ordered a handful of appetizers, I had to flag her down to ask for another order sheet after she avoided us for 15 minutes. And we were the only two people in restaurant. And when we'd finished our mains she ignored us for another 10 minutes and didn't offer dessert. I had to get up and go over and get an order sheet myself and when she saw me do that she scowled at me and I had to ask if it's ok if we order dessert. She grunted at me and rolled her eyes. I get it, bad service happens. But it was made even more ridiculous when I go up to pay and I'm visually assaulted by at least 4 or 5 signs reminding me to leave a tip while the waitress barked the total at me. Even if the sushi quality isn't the best I've ever had I'd probably still go back simply because it's the only option in orillia. But the service alone is the reason I will never go back here. 27.99 for AYCE dinner sushi I'll pay even if the sushi isn't the best I've had. However 27.99 to be treated like you're an annoyance to the staff and then aggressively reminded to tip? Yeah. No thanks.
Do not recommend! My husband spent 96$ its 25.99 all you can eat, we had our 3 year old and 5 year old who literally only ate edamame and ice cream. The food wasn't the best the place is completely empty, lesson learned we're never eating here again!!
Great sushi
Great food. Quick service.
Good food
Great customer service. Miss the seating down part but always friendly even for takeout.
EXCELLENT
Service adequate, food very poor qulaity we eat sushi weekly at different places this by far was the poorest. It filled a hunger but I would not recommend.
Yum! They are very friendly and it’s never too busy! The food is great and all you can eat!
Great all you can eat Birthday gathering .
The food is always amazing and you can only find certain yummy role there. Service is great and I’m know by name which makes me feel great.
Love the food and the staff. You won't leave hungry.
Pretty good sushi. All you can eat is a great choice.
Been to many Japanese places and was not upto par with freshness!
Been there twice and it's always so fresh and so tasty! Old school ordering. All you can eat. I truly love this place! I also can't have sesame and they have always accommodated me.
Friendly staff, good food, tasty fish delights
Great food, friendly prices, nice decor, and a really fantastic waitstaff! I stop by whenever I can and recommend Koi Sushi to anyone I know who likes sushi.
We ordered take out. Food was not great, salmon for sushi was not fresh, probably canned. Hot and sour soup was bland, seaweed in hand rolls was so tough we couldn’t bite thru them. All-round disappointing.
Great food
Excellent service, excellent food. Very highly recommended
Amazing Food!! Wide variety Sushi & Hot Food. We usually eat in Toronto and find the food here is authentic and reasonable in price. If you pay cash, there is a discount.
They couldn't recommend anything ...
We ordered Green Dragon and Black Dragon, they both tasted the same and almost stale.. The Philadelphia rolls hardly had creamcheese or fish in them. The mango roll was not edible, stale mango wrapped in seaweed with one broken roll …
I have eaten here many times. The sushi is good for an all you can eat sushi place, the fish has always been fresh. It is an excellent value for 2 hungry people that like sushi and want to eat healthy. When in Orillia I always stop in here for lunch ( better value) . Better choice than a disgusting fast/processed pretend food.
Absolutely horrible customer service Hazardous handling of foods Server tried to pass my order as ‘untouched’ after leaving it on the wrong table for other customers to eat, after several minutes he realized and then proceeded to RETRIEVE and FORCE the plate which had already been eaten from onto my table, which is a major health violation. ASKED for ginger THREE times to no avail. VERY UNSAFE. DO NOT EAT HERE.
Very poor service. Our waitress never once asked us how we were doing, we had to get up and get new order sheets and then had to bring them back because the server wouldn't come back to our table. Very strange. Good food, blah sushi.. won't be coming back.
Good food. Fast service. But I always find myself wanting a long time or having to ask for more water. Would like to be checked up on more frequently and not see staff sitting around on their phones.
It was disappointing I may as well gone to buy it at Zehrs.
Might be under new management; the service and food quality have dwindled and the prices have increased since we first started dinning here 2 years ago. Kid prices used to be until 12 years old now it stops at 11, so if your 11 year old doesn't have a great appetite it might not be worth the $$$.
I like food.food is good.they have good food.I am full.
Great Service! Good variety. I love the setup of ordering.
Good food, okay service.
Very tasty take out sushi, reasonable prices.
Made sure table was clean spaced far from others all staff wore masks. Overall God Experiance during this pandemic.
Best sushi ????
Went for birthday dinner and loved it! Spoke to the owner while there and found him to be very nice and interested in us as patrons of his restaurant. Have been there once before about 2 years ago and found it was good but I like the new owners and food even better! Glad I chose to go even after reading several negative reviews about the new owners and food quality. Not sure why people had a negative experience there. I found it to be a great place to spend my birthday :)
Didn't get my order right. Granted they were busy, but it is mother's day and what they missed was my entire wife's meal....
We visited this restaurant tonight and as a matter of fact, I am writing this review while sitting and waiting for food. The service is extremely slow. There is only one server for the whole restaurant and she has to answer the phone too. We are literally waiting for food for 40 minutes. The food is average quality and now because they are too busy, they are making the portions smaller. They are not getting any tips for sure.
At first I thought this sushi was going to be good because of the reviews but this food was not good at all. The sashimi looked like it was bought at the grocery store. The shrimp and calamari also tasted old. Then I go to pay and get charged 35$ for this food.
Decent sushi.
Discrimination at its finest
Love the food here and their AYCE menu.
Food selection was good and they have great variety. It did come fast. We were totally full after we're done. Will definitely come back again for this all-you-can-eat deal. ????????
Let’s be honest, it’s scary doing take out sushi when it’s your first time BUT this was delicious!!!!!! Super fast service and absolutely delicious food! Thank you!
Love going here for lunch or dinner with the girls. The staff are always so nice and the food is amazing! Always leave with a smile on my face and the feeling of needing a nap, due to eating so much every time because it's that good. Highly recommend it, rather go here then anywhere in Barrie for all you can eat.
Friendly service and a well prepared variety of Sushi and more.
Koi Sushi is not bad as far as all you can eat Sushi joints go. There isn't a lot of fish in the rolls but for all you can eat, that's not unexpected. I went twice and the service was slow once and very good the other time. The venue is alright and looks clean. There is a huge problem though. They smoke in the kitchen. For me it's a disgusting deal breaker. The entire dining room smells of cigarette smoke. The first time I went, I thought it was someone that just came from outside but the second time, I realized that it was coming from the kitchen. Unacceptable! I will never go back... sorry guys but you can't smoke in a kitchen.
Service
They don't even try anymore. Microwaved tempura, off tasting fish and really bad service. This place gives sushi a bad name.
Good was great yakitori skewers are amazing same with terreyaki salmon. Salmon sashimi was fresh and delicious. Kevin and hid staff are always super friendly . Great experience. Catch me in my booth at koi
Sushi is absolutly great fresh! eaten here plenty times fast service. Always cheery. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a nice casual night out. Great with friends.
Pretty tasty and fairly priced
My favourite sushi place. Fast friendly service.
Excellent sushi ????, so good. Great price Wednesday for all you can eat. Good Brown rice tea. :) Service was satisfactory.
Good food. Clean. Friendly staff. One chef made waiting for food lengthy with only a couple tables occupied. Dinner was Sunday at about 5 pm.
I’ve went to this restaurant with my families and friends and I have to say I’m not impressed of how they handled the service and the language barrier. First off the lady with the short hair that’s working there can’t speak any English and I’ve asked her for refills so did my friends and family, but she never said “you’re welcome” after we’ve said “thank you”. I have to raise my hand up to get her attention and never paying any attention to us at all, it’s ridiculous. No offence but we live in Canada and we need to understand what you’re saying... i really hope they can replace her with someone else that’s got better customer service and can speak English... but the rather good news is that the food is average....
It is just as good as I remember!
Food was good service was friendly
We LOVE this place. It is family friendly and always freshly made. Thin cuts for the sushi and rolls but the Sashimi is always good. | A hint when ordering is to not order piece by piece but try to order as much as you will want for your table/dinner as the servers can become preoccupied with other tables/chores etc.
It's a decent little sushi joint as you head over the narrows. I got the avocado cucumber, yam and spicy avocado rolls. It was good. I've had better, but it certainly fed the craving and left me satisfied. Will definitely be back when in the area because it's likely the best sushi joint in Orillia.
Food is below par and service is not good
Friendly service and delicious food. Try the sushi pizza!
Great food!
So cold even the staff are wearing coats right now
Always delishhh
Food was average. Service was not great. Food was forgotten and we were never told what was arriving. Eventually we hit the time limit and felt like we were rushed out even though we were still getting our food. I'd rather get sushi from a grocery store.
Picked up a party tray for New Years eve , absolutely fantastic , Thank you ! We will be back for sure :)
Cheap fast tasty
Underrated Wasabi, fish and ginger were fresh and vibrant. Chicken yakitory was excellent A descent all you can eat menu Cheap soy sauce unfortunately doesn't Mach the sushi well
What I really liked was that the menu listed the ingredients in each item. As someone with food allergies it was a big help. Good food and good service.
Great sushi and great price!
We've only had good experiences with Koi Sushi in Orillia. It's our go-to sushi place for our entire family. While the sushi is a tad pricey, you are paying for good quality sushi, and it's really delicious. Can't recommend it enough. In …
Delicious sushi! The crunchy rolls were perfect, and the spring rolls were amazing.
Good food, service is lacking though.
Excellent selection. Very tasty. Friendly service.
Ate there tonight - won't go again. Fish is not fresh; tempura overcooked and oil rancid, rice just mush, tiny, tiny pieces of sashime... (not fresh either). No wonder the place was empty. Very disappointing. Had to choose a star to post this... but it doesn't deserve one
Delicious sushi, some unique rolls, good sized sashimi. Fair price and ok service. I would not classify them as fast but fresh and worth waiting the extra few minutes. Best in Orillia
Decent sushi and price. About what I expect from a sushi place in Orillia.
Fantastic service and food. I go to this restaurant regularly and enjoy it. Kind staff, great cooks, and delicious food. Who ever makes a complaint about this place is ignorant.
Great take out. Fast and fresh.
Good service, great sushi! I love the vegan options.
Great service Good sushi Pre-ordered and was ready on time
Amazing food and a great variety to choose from. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff!
nice place to go if you enjoy cold chicken. general tao wasn't spicy. spicy crab rolls weren't spicy. sushi was pretty flavorless. beef rolls had a mushroom/fishy taste. water was warm. green tea ice cream was also fishy.
Food was fantastic, fresh and tasty. Location is a little off the beaten path and decor is something to be desired but food and service were great. A word of advice, do not sit by the large window near the front unless you enjoy being cold or having to wear your jacket during your meal.
Sushi were not bad, paid around $40 and 2 of us were hungry. That's why I put just 2 stars. In Toronto for $23 you can feed 2 people with super tasty sushi.
Super good ????????
I loved the food here sushi is one of my favourite foods but it was especially delicious at this establishment the staff was also fairly friendly and I enjoyed my time at this fine restaurant. My only complaint was the smell... cigarettes I found it gross it ticked me off but for the most part the restaurant pleased me. It is family friendly as well!
Good sushi, decent prices and service.
Tasty and good quality food.
Never been here before but my friend said it was great!
Great experience nice and fresh
We have visited Koi previously as well as other sushi restaurants in the area. We sat ourselves as the server was not on the floor which is no big deal. Then we waited for the server to grab our order paper from the all you can eat menu. The tables around us had not yet been cleaned. There were other patrons who waiting to be served. We received 70% of what we ordered on the first order sheet. The remaining 30% did not show up. At this point we realized that the server was also working the kitchen and preparing food. There were other tables who had yet to be served around us and had been waiting awhile. When the food came to the table it was lukewarm and sub-par compared to the usual standard Koi has set. We were pretty disappointed. The tables that were around us that hadn't been still hadn't been cleaned as we got up to pay our bill. Upon paying our bill we noticed that it cost more than usual. They charged for drinks. Water and Green tea. I'm not one to typically leave poor reviews as I feel sometimes we can be too critical. However I am very disappointed that the quality of the food was so bad. The server was doing his best but was run off his feet and there were more patrons than he could serve.
No complaints, good quality sushi.
I was hesitant picking up food here on the way back home given some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised and happy I didn’t listen to the bad reviews. The food was great and the service was good too! I would definitely stop here again.
Food was excellent. Price was standard for all you can eat sushi. Server was alone, forgetful and not very attentive. Took about 20 minutes to put in the first order. Would suggest the iPad system to avoid delay and confusion. Only tried the one time so may have been an off day. Will try again and update accordingly.
Orillia sushi at the atherly narrows. Tastes a lot better than that sounds. Not the greatest I have ever had...but not bad for the price. I like the fall or summer combos...extensive menu.
Not the best sushi
Great place to eat and fast
Family owned, very friendly, great food. Food cones quickly even when packed. Booth and table seating. Can accommodate large groups. Always see students there
Not bad food. A bit pricey.
Clean, fresh, friendly and amazing service. Best sushi in Simcoe County
Bad service. Not fresh food. Stomach ache for few days.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. All you can eat.
Oh I Was so Impressed. Right From the Beginning to the Very End.... UNTIL THIS HAPPENED... MY 1ST TIME THERE. UNFAMILIAR WITH THE RESTAURANT. BIG SIGN SAYING ALL YOU CAN EAT... WALKED IN. ASKED THE WAITRESS HOW MUCH???$$$$ 14.95 SHE SAID.... SAT DOWN. ASKED HER WHERE'S THE BUFFET??? """NO BUFFET YOU ORDER FRIM MENU."""" AGAIN. UNFAMILIAR WITH SUSHI ETC. I ORDERED 6/6/6 SMALL SUSHIS. EGGPLANT A SOUP. WITH SIDE NOODLES. NOT MUCH. ATE 3 SUSHIS N EGGPLANT FELT SICK. AND ASKED WAITRESS TO BRING MY BILL. $$$ 42.38. W. H. A. T ????? I said she make a mistake. She proceeded to b rude. And told me yes all you can eat. Not ALL YOU CAN WASTE.... SHE TRIED CHARGUNG ME $6 PER SUSHI NOT ESTEN
Food is always good and i love that the servers leave you alone until you are done or indicate your like something.
Great place with lots of veggie and vegan options! Fresh food, very tasteful, also great service!
It was the worse level of sushi I've ever had in my 25 years of eating and enjoying sushi. It reminded me, and looked like a non chef beginner made it. My only meal of the day. Had it not been. I would have taken it back.
Was cold and not very flavourful
Food was sub par. Seemed like reheated tempura veg, soggy rolls, miso soup with way too much salt, jasmine tea make with tap water? Stomach ache for desert. Poor service and communication
Good food, friendly waitress...only thing that killed it for us was the wait times for food and table service. Need more staff !
Awesome place with friends
We almost didn't go to this restaurant because of the reviews. I am glad we did and formed our own opinion. Being pregnant and craving sushi is really difficult especially if its not an all you can eat buffet. You need to have other options without wasting money in case it does not work out. This all you can eat sushi place fulfilled all my needs. The sushi was so fresh, and all the other many food options were served very hot and in a timely manner. At no point did they fill our table with food only for it to get cold. The food also comes in very small portions which i love, because it does not get overwhelming. The servers were extremely polite and very friendly. I noticed the other boy may come off as rude but its only the language barrier. You need to just speak up to accommodate him and ask him politely to repeat if you don't understand him. Despite this, he still served us with a happy face, keeping our table clear. Go to this joint and form your own opinion. I will definately go back and highly recommend ????
Expensive. Quality needs improvement. Started off awesome. Hope they can get better. All you can it though. Lots of variety.
Good place for sushi if you don't live in barrie.
$25.00 all you can eat. Fast service. Dine in no lineups. Nice assortment although no tuna included.
Junk no respect for paying customers
It was great that they were open 'til 10pm on a Sunday. Some of the fish in the party tray I ordered was not very fresh. Just about all …
This epic adventure started when we got to the restaurant. There was a man standing immediately in front of the door smoking, which was bad enough, however it got so much worse when the ignorant person in front of the door was our server. He followed us in and sat us at our table, handled our cutlery and served us our drinks without washing his hands. I can run this story on for about a half hour in detail, but between our food being over cooked (ironically enough at a sushi restaurant), our server just not paying us any attention and when he did, smelling like an ashtray, green tea tasting like dish water and then the server openly sneezing over a few tables. Just disgusting stay away.
Perfect other than the maskless nuisance that showed up and made life hard for the owners and all the actual respectful customers abiding by our current ruleset for the pandemic. The lady in question left a review saying this place …
Love these guys
AYCE is okay. Service is slow. Better off driving extra 20 mins to Barrie.
Delicious sushi, delicious bento boxes, delicious cheese wantons, delicious everything!! Not to mention the friendliest staff and a very welcoming and clean environment. I would (and do) recommend Koi Sushi to everyone!!
Great food and service every time we go witch is 2 times a week.
Great food! Service is a little slow do make sure you have lots of time when you go
Very nice food and service.
Nice place but because I forgot to bring my mask instead of providing me with the free mask she said if you need a mask it will be $1 and did not care if I leave the restaurant because of this behavior and they loose a valuable customer.
Delicious! Whether it's dine in or take-out, Koi never disappoints! Always a great meal.
Always a delicious experience and such an extensive menu for the all-you-can-eat. Definitely worth checking out for it's price.
The food was good, could use a more diverse menu though.
The best sushi place in Orillia! The staff are always friendly, the food is AMAZING!! Fair pricing. You really can't go wrong stoping here!
Great people, freshly made amazing food and good prices
Best place to go in Orillia if your looking for all you can eat sushi. It's more of a quantity over quality restaurant being it's all you can eat theres a bit of a tradeoff there. It still tastes great. Kids aren't a fan on sushi but they're is also items on the menu thays not sushi related that they also enjoyed! Nice atmosphere. Servers are fairly quick if it isnt too busy! Bring cash, theres a fee for using the debit machine (at least the last time I was there there was a fee) all in all. I'd still go back!
Horrible everything
Awful I hate leaving bad reviews but for a sushi lover like me it was awful Rice was over cooked, fried items were really greasy, some items tasted funny And very expensive for the poor quality
Very good eats
The food is good, and there are many different types of rolls. I personally like their Orillia rolls. The service is good and the restaurant is always quite and peaceful.
Pricey but good
Very good service when I went. The owner was waiting our table and she was one of the nicest people in food service. Would recommend!
It was just ok. Nothing super exciting about this place.
Dirty cups and utensils, lousy food
Love the AYCE. Great food.
Me and my mom and my son went there for the first time and told the server that..she didn't explain properly how the order goes specially the lunch buffet she told us we can order once so we did and for 3 items I paid 57$ and it contradicted with what the other server said and told us we can order more but we're done and still they didn't even offer us to pay for a la carte which they have too which will be more cheaper for 3 items..not recommending this place don't have good customer service at all
Rolls weren't very packed together. Kept falling apart. Would of been a 5 star if they were. Everything tasted great. Service was spectacular. Ill be back.
Great food
Good food and service. Very friendly.
