Exactly what we wanted. A true "breakfast diner" experience. Attentive service, eggs cooked the way we wanted, pleasant staff. Bathrooms need attention, but otherwise restaurant is clean.

Good breakfasts, good prices, but the coffee flow is very slow at times, even when you are the only person there. Big bonus is that you can have your breakfast with baked beans instead of potatoes. This is important for people with arthritic, who try to stay away from night shade plants, in their diet. In case you want to park in their parking lot, because you have to go across the road to the hospital, you can do do, but only if you leave your keys inside, at the counter. This insures that the limited parking lot is not misused by non- customers. All others will be towed. Staff and owner are very friendly, portions of good size and prizes fair. A new coat of paint has given the inside a nice face lift lately. See pic for breakfast specials. Up

Excellent simple breakfasts which dont leave you over stuffed. Decor is - who cares really - its clean and the tables etc are clean. So the floor is cracked and broken down looking, I'd rather this than them piling a bunch of money into it and raising the prices, it would probably end them. Service is great, the waitress was very pleasant, and the cook who i think may be named George came out to say hello as we were leaving and thanked us for coming in. That was a nice touch.

It was a SUPERB dining experience here. First off, I'll admit, the atmosphere when I came in wasn't all that great. Couple people (employees taking breaks) gave me an uninviting stare when I came in. However, as soon as I sat down, I was greeted with couple nice menus. I chose the Lunch menu for the Cheeseburger and the Fish & Chips (half size). The food came out promptly, and was AMAZING! The cheeseburger wasn't soaked in oil or grease, and the fries were nice and crisp without being too thin or too thick. The coleslaw was a nice add-on to add a bit of sourness to the whole mix! The server was generally nice. I was able to have a peaceful lunch, and was overall a pleasant experience! If this place just renovated, it would be a 6-Star experience. Recommended if in Orillia!

The Good: Perfect traditional bacon and eggs breakfast, fair prices and excellent waitress service. Retro diner feel. Good value. The Bad: Filthy, sticky worn out floors, waitress staff doing dishes between serving tables. The Ugly: Disgusting smelly washrooms. They've got a good thing going but the areas on neglect would stop me from coming back.

Service was nice, the establishment was sub par. Clean, but does seem to need repair. The food was full of flavor, but portion size was sub-par. The bottomless coffee is limited to 3 cups, and the price increases, so check the menu before ordering a drink. I don't think I'll be returning.

Scrambled eggs were not fully cooked and slimy, the home fries were not even hot or completely cooked and I asked for crispy bacon and got rubber. Never again, although service was fast and friendly.
