Had the most amazing fish & chips while on a visit to Orillia and Lake Simcoe. It's a true sunshine city and a good spot for your next Summer road trip. The food and service at Bounty was amazing. It looked like a family run spot and the folks was really nice and friendly. We tried the Halibut... it was fresh and served with a large serving of fires. The serving size was really good so a medium meal should he enough. Highly recommended #Fish&Chips #LakeSimcoe #Orillia #Bounty

Had a craving for some fish and chips on my way to Barrie. Ended up finding this place. It did not dissapointe. The White Roughy special was cooked perfectly with the lightest crispiest batter with a side of homemade fries and gravy. I highly recommend ????

Nothing too complicated or fancy here, a few different variety of fish (plus chicken and shrimp) fried and served along with fries and/or coleslaw. The environment is super casual and service very friendly. If I could change anything, it’s their reliance on disposable packaging as things like tartar sauce should not come in a plastic package that hurts the beautiful environment that surrounds us all.

Delicious! The food was great. The service was great (efficient and friendly). This was the first restaurant I've eaten in since March. The place was clean, the in-use tables a good distance apart, the staff was taking smart precautions re: use of masks, disposable condiments (once brought to your table they are yours. Unused ones do not go back into their stores), etc. I felt very comfortable eating-in during this time of Covid. I can see why they've repeatedly earned local best fish awards. Prices were good value. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again in the future! Yummy!

I wouldn't even give it a star. I pre-ordered, the order was wrong, it wasn't ready, the fish was hard, cold and dry as were the French fries. The worst fish and chips I have ever had.

I do love their fish and chips...usually you get a fairly good size piece but last visit our pieces were half the size. Other than that customer service was great.

First time visiting - definitely will not be the last! Heard about this from a local and it's absolutely delicious! We had the haddock, half order of fries and coleslaw. Great full plate, well priced and Wednesdays are 10% off for seniors! Parking is a premium - very small parking area both in front and back - but municipal parking within walking distance. Recommended it highly!!

First time visiting- small, cozy dining room. I tried the Halibut with half fries half onion rings. The halibut was lightly battered- not lost in batter like most fish and chip places, and was perfectly cooked. Fries are fresh cut and well-prepared.

Got the seafood platter. The fish was nicely battered and fried, scallops and shrimp were good as well. Fries were ok. Clams were not good. I recommend to cut them thicker and then fry them. All I could taste was batter. Missed my coleslaw in my order. This place is good but nothing special

Excellent fish 'n chips. Family run, friendly service. We ordered take-out on the phone and the order was ready on time. We ordered the haddock and the halibut. Both were crisp, tasty and not at all oily. We'll definitely be back to eat-in or to order take-out.

Ordered online for pickup. They were just packing it as I arrived. It was fantastic I asked for tartar sauce and salt only but got a handful of other condiments that are ending up in the landfill The excess condiments lower the rating

We ordered three types of fish, the fried mushrooms, some salad, and a cole slaw. The fish were all delicious, and slightly different textures. The cole slaw was really fresh and tasty, one of the best we've had. The mushrooms were tasty. The salad has bacon on it, for those of you who are vegetarian

Our quest for GREAT fish n' chips may be over, Tried Bounty on October 02,2020 and found just what we were looking for. First off, it's a nice little restaurant with good off-street parking and a presence on the street. Inside, it's neat and tidy and all things a fishnchips place should be, Service was fast and helpful and at this (COVID) time we could eat in or take out, which was what we opted for. The fish, (Halibut) was delicious, not greasy or overcooked, in a light batter. Portions were very good. Add to that the fries which were excellent, not woody or too relaxed, crisp bits and each one an individual, so good! Not every time do you get both, good fish and good chips. Was our first time. Of course we will be back!

Definitely try this place. There is a good selection of fish at very good prices. Service was very efficient and friendly. The food was delicious. And seniors day is Wednesday! There is a large municipal parking lot right behind it if parking is full.

First time ordering from Bounty. Heard it was good. Not a fan of fish, like haddock, etc., but I ordered shrimp & fries with a side of gravy. Well......let me tell you......definitely going there again! 6 awesome breaded shrimp, lots of fries, a side of cole slaw, and seafood sauce. And, that's the best chicken gravy (which, it's hard to find a restaurant carrying chicken gravy instead of beef gravy) I've had in years! Love chicken gravy over beef! Going to try scallops next time. I definitely recommend trying the food here!

Very disappointing as we frequently get takeout from here. We decided to dine in tonight (which we rarely do during the pandemic) and when seating ourselves our male server was approaching and we noticed his mask was way below his nose (this is unacceptable in the food service industry right now). We were shocked due the fact our COVID numbers are getting pretty high in the area so we immediately left. Pretty sure this gentleman is an owner or family of the owner as he has been there for years. The female server working was wearing her mask properly. Just makes me wonder if the kitchen staff is wearing masks properly if someone out front wasn't. Kinda makes me feel ill as we have gotten take out there more than a few times during the pandemic.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Orillia. I am picky about my fish and chips but have never been disappointed here. The prices are very reasonable and the menu has something for everyone. I had the haddock with a half order of french fries and pickled beets. It was still more than enough to eat.
