I just ate freshest fish dinner I've ever had in Toronto. Black Cod on a bed of brown rice with grilled vegetables with avocado. I can't say enough good things about how perfectly my Cod was prepared. I'm looking forward to getting back here again.

They keep pushing their prices up at an astonishing rate. The prices have doubled in the past ten years I have been visiting this place, but the dishes have not changed. I love the dishes but they are no longer reasonably priced.

Delicious fish at affordable prices! I got the pickeral and it came with asparagus, broccoli AND brussel sprouts. Talk about value!! They have serious variety of fish. I cant wait to try more!

Finally had a chance to visit 'The Fish Store' and it was definitely worth the wait. Pictures below are the Scallop and Halibut Sandwich which was both cooked to perfection. We ordered from the outside window, there was a few tables outside to eat your meal at. It took approx. 10 mins for our lunch, the bread was extremely soft, hot and fresh. The entire sandwhich was delicious, I forgot to ask for avocados which I would definitely add to my sandwhich next time. We showed up around 3pm and the clam chowder was sold out, arrive early if that's something you want!

I think, this place is probably the best place you can still have a fish meal and actually eat the fish the advertise...reasonable and good tasting. Too bad they don’t do sushi as well... Portions are small but well done.

Just perfect. My husband and I ordered a sandwich and a burrito (surprisingly very different). Both very well served and extremely delicious - rainbow trout was the fish of the day. The owner also managed to adapt the place to covid restrictions (plexiglass and microphone).

This is a take out place only! There are two tables but the place is tiny. The couple who works there seem lovely. They were friendly and gave me time to decide. They also told me what was the most popular dishes. I had the shrimp sandwich with avocado and it was good. They gave a generous half an avocado for and extra $2 and I was happy. The sandwich had simple fresh ingredients and was perfectly seasoned. It wasn't fancy but it tasted good. Also they only accept cash however there is a bank closed by.

Flavourful fresh fish meals here. It's a small family-run restaurant, you choose the type of fish you want, and what kind of meal you want made with it (sandwich, wrap, salad, or rice meal). It's cash-only, so make sure you've got that. I had the rainbow trout as a sandwich, which was seasoned nicely and a sizeable portion. There's a small table for two tucked in the corner of the space for when it's too cold out for patio seating.

This is hands down my favourite takeaway place in Toronto. The fish is always deliciously prepared and I usually get the rice meal as it is refreshing and filling. The sandwich is also amazing. I recommend the rainbow trout or the snapper if you're looking for a tasty treat. The owners are also really kind and they deserve your business.

I never cared about the size and popularity of a business because it’s the quality and treatment that matter the most, and this take out shop has that!! This is a go-to-spot for sure! My favorite restaurant in the city. There's nothing like it. Tons of fish with perfect herbs flavoring and toppings in a perfectly toasted sandwich. Light but very filling. Fish grilled perfectly. Favorites: grouper, cod, sea bass. The place is tiny so in the winter consider taking the sandwich with you or wait for the two tiny tables that fit only a handful people. In the summer enjoy the little rustic patio outside and people-watch.

HIGHLY recommend giving this spot a try! Have lived in the area for five years and walked past this spot too many times without giving it a try. I'm not typically a fish person, but their fish is very fresh and really fantastic. The veggie selection that comes with their meals is FUEGO, it is so varied and fresh. Something for everyone. My go-to is black cod on rice with veggies (typically comes with lemon, broccoli, brussels, asparagus, green beans, pickles, olives & tomatoes.
