Great friendly couple. They provide great fresh fish to sushi within the same shop. Not a lot of places in Toronto has this direct from supplier set up. Enjoyed some fresh Salmon sashimi from them.

Although the sushi it’s more of a take-away spot, Ocean Treasure is one of my go-to places on the Danforth. Their fish is fresh, and the service is always top-notch. I feel like my mouth melts when I have the salmon-avocado roll. I think we grab sushi from there at least once a week. If you are able to plan ahead a little, you can also request them to make some different rolls for you! Now that the weather is nice, we love grabbing some to go and taking it to eat at Withrow Park… it’s a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. We’ve also purchased some salmon for us to cook at home, which each time we’ve enjoyed thoroughly. A definite recommend!

Best (and only, really) fishmonger around. Much better than any nearby grocery stores, and usually quite a few whole fish options, which can be tough to find elsewhere. The sushi is decent too!

Visited during taste of the danforth for oysters. Oysters were fresh and delicious, wish there was a touch of horseradish or something. They did provide lemon. Expensive. $15 for 6 oysters.

Fresh fish can be bought here, which tastes nice and fresh. They also make their own sushi and they sell it. If you want to eat the shushi in the store, they have a couple of tables and chairs for the customers to sit down and enjoy....We have been going to this fish market for many years. Very happy with the owners. They are friendly and have a very clean store !! ????????????????

Wow. Had the prepared sushi. Very delicious. I have had sushi in many restaurants and I can tell you honestly. The best. Fresh. Tasty and made with care. They also gave me a cup of green tea with the tea bag. Compliments of the store.

Inviting atmosphere with knowledgeable owners. The selection and freshness (clear eyes, clean gills etc) of the seafood is notches above other fish markets in Toronto. Convenient location as well. Have been buying regularly for a few months now and will continue to do so. Haven’t tried the sushi but will definitely give it a try!

Best place to get fresh fish and they make good take away sushi and sashimi. Also they have the best seafood during the taste of danforth. They close on Mondays from what I remember. They have a small cozy seating area to enjoy your sushi and sashimi and of course end of day sales are great. *added in later* they have freshly chucked oysters!!! And the prices are pretty great.
