The service from the owner Frank and female staff were very helpful, pleasant and professional. Go to this Alliance location instead of the one at Geary if you want proper customer service You can choose any fish in the shop and ask them to either fry it or grill it. For some reason, they told me grilling would take 1 hour, whereas frying only 5 minutes I got 1 robelo (sea bass), which was about 11 dollars and had it fried for me for 4 dollars. After tax, it was 16.95. The fish was delicious! The cook will ask you if you want your fish salted or unsalted before cooking it, which was pretty neat Wear something comfortable (don't wear your nice clothes) if you want to explore the store in its entirety because it is a fishmonger shop after all lol They have a small hot table, which I think runs from Tuesday to Saturday and the menu changes daily
