I seldomly order seafood from wholesalers - usually just a walk around the seafood counter at grocery stores for fresh catch. But after ordering a few times from these guys, I've converted to a frequent customer of theirs! It still surprises me every time how fresh the seafood and ingredients are, I was never really a seafood guy but the packaging is always so nice and feels premium... Their selections are also perfect for dinner parties, had three of 'em so far and my guests loved it. But maybe that's just my cooking, haha!

I have made a couple of orders now from Daily Seafood and I have both times been amazed at the quality of the product. The shellfish, fish, squid, octopus... whatever I've ordered has not disappointed in any way! The order process is efficient and the service quick, polite and efficient. The delivery is also smooth, products packaged thoughtfully, and honestly just all around fantastic! So thankful for this place as they have taken all the guess work out of seafood shopping! 100% recommend without reservations!!

All I have to say is WOW!!!! Yesterday, I was deciding where I should purchase fish from... In my area, there are two (other) good local retail seafood stores; however, I prefer purchasing buying a whole fish instead of buying fillets. So, by fluke, I Googled, " Wholesale Fish market near me," and behold, 'Daily Seafood Inc.' came up. I went onto the website and after seeing the quality and prices, I decided to place an order for the BC Organic King Salmon (8 lbs), the Wild Smoke Cold Salmon, Salmon Trims, and Shrimp Dumplings at 8 am, May 17, 2020, Saturday morning. Jessie (or Jessy, I don't know the spelling of her name), she answered the phone and she was super friendly and kind. Plus, she said she will cut the salmon into 1.5 inches pieces. I placed my order at 8am and it was delivered to my house by 1:30 pm, in a box, delicately packed, with ice, with the other items. The Asian delivery man was super friendly and kind. Plus, he practiced social distancing too! Let me tell you this Salmon is so super Fresh! NO SMELL WHATSOEVER!!! I can't believe it! I've been eating fish all of my life, I've fished back in the day, and as always you get that fishy smell that lingers with every fish. But not from Daily Seafood! And the Smoke Salmon, it had defrosted, due to the heat, it was hot yesterday, it didn't matter, I've been eating it too!! Mmmmmm!!! Going to cooking the shrimp dumplings later during the week! I had to enclose a picture of the Salmon, just to show you the quality. It was ovenbaked, with a ginger, garlic, paprika rub. And yes, I did take a bite, but it's because of the deliciousness of deliciousness. Salmon is a fatty fish, but this fish wasn't fatty, and oily. Also, I would like to take a moment to thank this salmon for being so tasty and having to give up it's life to end up on my dinner plate, plus the fishers who caught the salmon; and the staff of Daily Seafood Inc. for taking my order and delivering it in the same day. I live in five minutes driving distance away, or 1.9 km walking distance away. After receiving my order, I packed up everything, but I couldn't believe that there was no fishy smell, not even slightly. I called back and I personally thank the staff for the quality of their fish! I hope they read this!!! Thank you, Daily Seafood Inc. Can't wait to buy something else!!! If you're looking for the freshest fish and great prices, Daily Seafood Inc. is the place!

Looking forward to using my culinary skills from Paris last year to prepare meals during lock down and stay healthy! I have been reordering but today was a challenge, coupon did not work and worse of all I tried 6 X to get order through. Please fix order system- I love the products but others may not be that loyal or patient.

I've ordered from daily seafood twice - the first one was otoro, negitoro, and kanimiso paste. My family and I enjoyed all three very much, and decided to order again. The second time we got otoro again, uni (Japanese bafun), shirako, kanimiso, ikura caviar, monkfish liver, and scallops. Hard to deny that otoro is a highlighting piece to a meal, but unfortunately the otoro cut this time was very disappointing. More than half of the piece was tough white tendon and pure fat and it truly felt like a waste of money. I was able to get 12 slices from the first time I ordered, but only managed to get 4 from the second time. The Japanese uni was a let down too because it did not looked old (greyish, not orange) and tasted metallic, not sweet or umami at all. All the other items were fine, but considering the otoro and uni were on the pricier side, I was not impressed by the quality. Sad to say that I will not be making another purchase.

I ordered some seafood for delivery back in March. Back then you had to email for an order form, send it back when complete, and they call you to place the order. Prices were pretty good and it took a couple days for the entire process. When the order arrived, however, I received more than what I ordered and was charged for it. Ordered 2lbs of clams and received 5lbs. Also asked for a large cod and received a small one. Seafood was fresh though. I emailed again yesterday for an updated order form and was informed the order process is now online. The prices increased significantly and whole fish are now sold at a set price, not per price. Not very fair if a 5lb is the same rice as a 6.5lb cod and you're not allowed to pick.

Super high quality seafood for extremely reasonable prices. I tried the sushi-grade salmon and tuna, along with their king crab legs and it felt like I was eating them straight from the ocean, onto my table. Highly recommend!!

Ordered from here about a week ago because I wanted to try something new. Luckily they have a wide variety of choices so I got to try several things! Fish were well priced and fresh when they arrived the very next day! Unfortunately when I pressed the “order” button online, a few of my items disappeared, assuming because they were out of stock. I was not charged for these items but I was disappointed that I thought I was getting them up until the moment I hit “order.” Although for one whole fish I had ordered, they had substituted it with the full fillets instead which was great because those were a couple dollars more and meant I didn’t have to do the filleting! (They also do a much better job than I ever would) I would definitely recommend Daily Seafood as there were tons of options, the fish was fresh and delicious and the portions were nice. I will definitely be ordering from them again very soon!

If there is any good that has come out of covid is Daily Seafood offering its goods to the public! I've been ordering from them for the last few months and their seafood is the freshest that I have had in Toronto. Anything from live dungeness crab, super fresh oysters, even the frozen shrimp is the so much better than what you can get anywhere else. It can be confusing when you pick up for the first time. I usually pick up from their location. Get to the loading bay give them a call and tell them your order # and they will open loading door and give you your order.

The quality of their seafood is good. However twice in a row, I haven’t been able to receive sea urchin that I had purchased. The first time they called me and we agreed to replace it with another product but the second time they did not and instead, just gave me store credit without consent. This is poor customer service. It’s a let down because I do like their products.

Daily Seafood was recommended to me by a chef at Pearl Diver a month into the pandemic in early April 2020. He was worried that Daily, and its suppliers might not survive the first lockdown. Its clients were restaurants. I started to buy from Daily while they were still wholesalers. I am glad I did. The seafood was fabulous and it had huge variety. Over the next 18 months I watched as Daily Seafood expanded into the retail market - I hope successfully. Their online retail market is fabulous and they keep expanding their product line. They will cut, filet, marinate and vacuum pack to order. We order regularly. I only have one regret - I'm not still a wholesale customer. But I understand why the prices are higher for retail. The quantities are small and specialized for each order. I can't recommend this supplier enough. I'll never buy seafood anywhere else.

I love her professional customer service offered with politeness and prompt answers on your products. The scheduled delivery was again on time with receiving products packaged. The seafood is always very fresh and delicious! My family of 3 generations do enjoy your products viz. Chilean Sea bass, Salmon Head and in particular the fresh U 10 scallops which are gorgeous and far better than those supplied from any grocery stores or even the Big Store! In order that we could continue to enjoy your products, we do hope your "Home Delivery" order service will continue to operate even after the current isolation period by a well-run Company like yours!!

With the pandemic going on it has made it hard to satisfy my seafood craving, however Daily Seafood has made it easy. They have a huge seafood selection and offer delivery options. My favourite is their seafood box options, since they offer such as variety of seafood. Would definitely recommend this place to get fresh and quality seafood. Will put in another order this week!

My pescatarian friend lost her mom and bro almost at the same time. Instead of buying flowers, I thought of getting her quality seafood. I'm a few hundred miles away from her so I had to find a company that will be able to deliver it to her house. I checked out a few companies and Daily Seafood had an online store that I can pick and choose the items I want in a box. I got vacuum packed Ahi tuna, salmon, branzino (sea bass), trout, fresh clams and mussels, fish and chips and salmon dip. I called first to see if they can arrange it like a gift and include a little message that it came from me and they obliged. I asked not to put the invoice and they didn't. My friend was so surprised, happy and cried when she received them the next day. She made a seafood pasta that night using the clams and mussels and was so delighted that all of the shellfish opened, meaning not one shellfish was dead. Daily Seafood guarantees freshness and fresh seafood she got indeed. I want to include pics but the ones she sent had private info I can't put it out there. Dee helped me out a lot in this process. I went back and forth with emails asking how things can be arranged within 24 hours. She was courteous and compassionate and handled everything for me with utmost professionalism. I rarely write reviews but Daily Seafood is worth it. Highly recommended! 10 stars!!!

I ordered seafood from them since the begining of COVID-19. Service is good and seafood is very fresh. I deducted one star as the weight is usually off for items where weight described as a range. For example, I ordered a lobster 1.1 - 1.5 lb, but the lobster I received is only 0.9lb. This happened a few times.

What a wonderful selection of truly fresh seafood! I've had the mussels, Atlantic char, Atlantic Canadian salmon, salmon heads, salmon trim, sushi-grade BC salmon and halibut. I just had the fresh uni (which is difficult to find!) and my eyeballs are still rolling from the fresh, buttery texture of the otoro tuna. The black cod and halibut collars are next on my list to cook. Besides the fresh seafood, the staff are awesome! Their responses to emails and text messages are prompt, friendly and efficient. I also appreciate that the delivered items are labelled accurately. I am grateful that Daily Seafood delivers to my area!

Crabs that I ordered were missing from the order -- and to make it worse, my card was charged for non-existant crabs. Furthermore, Red Argentine Shrimps were a little melted, nearly 2 years old-- just a month before the expiry date. They smelt strange and had black spots. I communicated with their reps who refused to reimburse or credit me. Totally unacceptable and fraudulent enterprise.

Me and my boyfriend have purchased fish 3 times from Daily and all we can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fish is beyond fresh and they will vacuum pack and marinate the fish for you. I recommend the dill marination, it is TOO DIE FOR! The staff is extremely helpful too. We had tons of questions before placing our orders, Dee answered them all around the clock. She sent us the list of ingredients in the shrimp dumplings and took time to teach us to steam them. We are very grateful for Daily offering their services.

I've ordered fresh seafood from here many times and I've not been disappointed! You might think the prices are on the higher side, but the QUALITY that you get from here CAN'T BE BEAT. My favourite from here is probably the fresh uni, scallops, and shrimp. The scallops are HUGE and when I pan-fry them they are so juicy and sweet. I was never a person to like fresh uni because of the weird taste/texture, but after trying the uni from here my opinion has changed—I love uni now. I would definitely recommend Daily Seafood Inc for anyone who loves fresh seafood. You just can't compare the seafood here to what you get at a supermarket. My whole family agrees and loves the quality too.

[BUY WITH CAUTION] We have ordered several batches of seafood from them during the pandemic. It was good at the begining and we were happy about the products. However, the most recent purchase was extremely disappointing. Spot Prawn we ordered did not taste fresh at all. the flesh of half of the shrimp was all breaking apart after a brife water boiling. It was not as chewy as the fresh shrimp you can get from the super market. may be an indication that the shrimp was dead prior to being frozen. It was a bad decision we made to eat the shrimp, as it caused me vomit three times and had diarrhea for two days. My wife also had diarrhea. We paid decent price for the seafood and we should expect decent quality too. Not cool!

my parents are senior and they switched to an online store that is hard to use for my parents. This is not a problem just call and speak to the girl working at customer service. The quality of the seafood is very good and the customer service is great. The lady in customer service is very helpful, her name is D. My parents always speak to D she is very sweet and kind. D enters the order for them on the online store when they talk on the phone. She recommended them to keep the salmon head and bone for soup, very delicious. We hope they continue to deliver after the pandemic.
