The couple working there is extremely polite all around gives off a very comfortable feeling. I had the poutine and it has got to be one of the best in the jane and finch neighbourhood, not to mention the price is extremely low for what you get ($4 for a large size, $3 for small). I would recommend anyone who is looking for a new poutine spot to try to definitely check this place out. I dont usually bother to write reviews even when i find a good spot but this place being able to get me to do so says alot.

First time visit because I've always been curious about this place. Wanted Halibut fish and chips but they didn't have it. Although there were a couple of pictures of 'caught Halibut' on the wall, lol. The couple who I think owned the store were very kind and pleasant. I had to settle between Haddock or Cod though. I chose Haddock and took it home. It was still crispy when I got home (I don't live that far.) It was very tasty. Batter was very good. Fries was very good too. Price was decent. I'd definitely go back and try other things the reviewers mentioned like popcorn chicken and poutine.

I have been buying here since 1999 . Never had a bad experience yet. Great hardworking people that own and work in the shop . Prices have always been fair amd reasonable. The only bad thing I have to say is stay away from there gravy it's in a big pot amd reused day after day not thrown out at the end of the day . The gravy tastes horrible. Besides that everything is ok . Food is cooked fresh while you wait so the wait times can be long

Just been for lunch here, thought I'd compare it to English fish'n chip shops. The food was very nice especially the onion rings. If you're looking for something traditional the chips are straight cut french fries as opposed to chip chips. They do not have battered sausage. The price was very kind and the portions were incredibly generous. The staff/owners were kind and friendly as were the other patrons. Like it says in the other reviews there wasn't any seating(There was a waiting bench) but if you're used to traditional fish and chip shops you're not looking for seating.

Sure the area might not seem very welcoming from the outside but you’re welcomed with a decent portion of fish & chips for $8.75, freshly fried and served by the friendly couple that owns this eatery. The cod fish was crispy, flesh yet flaky on the inside while the chips were not oily or too salty. Do note that the cod fish for this particular visit was smaller than usual, hence I was compensated with more fries. Usually, you’d expect to see the cod fish portion to be bigger than this. Nevertheless, with that price and overall portion size, this place is probably your best bet to get fish and chips while being friendly to your wallet at the same time.

I went to the fish and chips Resturant on driftwood.. Was upset when I ate at home, The onions were Greeley and the fries were Cold, they didn’t look like they were cooked, I won’t be going there again
