Best place for fish in the city. Salmon, Trout, whole Spigola for the grill. You name it, they have it. Always fresh, great customer service and don't forget to grab a bag of frozen shrimp from behind the counter! ????????????

A great place to buy fish and an excellent selection too -- including a lot of whole fish (which they will clean for you). It is worth driving a bit to get there but if you live in the area, it is the ONLY place to buy fish and seafood.

I had searched online for great fish markets in Toronto and found City Fish Market on a top 10 list. It's not too far from where I live so I decided to check it out yesterday. When I first walked in, no one really acknowledged me but a couple minutes later, a man came out from the back room and asked if I needed help. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. The fish was quite cheap compared to another fish market id been to on Roncesvalles. I left with a bag full of fresh, gutted, clean fish for under $20 & a complimentary lemon on the side. Amazing place and I will most definitely be returning.

This place sells old refrozen fish. I bought fish for the first time and it was horrible in smell and it literally disintegrated as I cooked if. This happens when you freeze old fish to resell it. Bad practise. I tried to get a credit note but manager was not interested. My first trip there and they do not honour their product.

Great place to buy fish. Friendly staff and an excellent selection of fish options. The crab is a bit pricey, but I think it is pricey everywhere. The staff are very knowledgeable and will give you recipe tips if you ask.
