New to North Bay and getting ready for hard water so I thought I would check it out. The service is phenomenal and the store is really stocked with everything you could need to have a productive day on the water. Good vibe of an atmosphere. Only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because some of the prices are a bit outrageous. It seems on average you will pay 33% more but let's be honest the unprepared last minute Fisherman will obviously pay. Looking forward to coming back for some e Minnie after January 1st

Owner is very knowledgeable about all his products and the local area. You'll find a staggering variety of tackle you rarely see elsewhere and is well curated for any angling needs in the surrounding watershed. Most amazing of all is the BARGAIN ROOM!!!! This place has JDM cranks and top of the line drop shot plastics for 20% to 50% off. If you're a Bass, Walleye and especially a Muskie fisherman, you need to check this place out.

Very knowledgeable staff who are well-connected in the fishing industry. They have a massive inventory of fishing gear. I found the prices to be on the high side for what I was looking for considering the same brands and lures can be found online or at chain stores for less in some cases. This is a good example of a local shop where you get what you pay for. High quality fishing supplies with great service.

Why order online or go to Bass Pro when everything you need is in this great store! Thomas (owner) is a professional angler himself, so he knows what to stock and what not to stock. He passes wisdom onto his customers to improve them as anglers. The entire staff is awesome and I always feel welcome.

The staff were very friendly and super knowledgeable. Helped us find everything we were looking to get and as a bonus are one of the few shops stocking Salmo lures in Canada. Gave us some great pointers on the area we will be fishing as well which was much appreciated. I spend a ton of time in different tackle shops and these guys are the best I've dealt with.

The other reviews are right. I frequent this place sometimes and I am always pleased with the wide selection. The prices are quite reasonable, the staff is great and you can find stuff here, you can't find elsewhere. If they don't have it, they will try to source it for you. There is nothing not to like about shopping here. There are bargains to be had here too, as others have stated. I live right down the road from it, so it's about as handy as you can get, unlike other tackle stores, which are spread further around the city, closer to the outskirts. Hours could be better though.

The website is out dated but the store it self as a very nice selection anything from tiny perches to big musky lures, very nice rods and reels, the staff knows their stuff when it comes to fishing and the owner is very friendly and will help you out with anything! This is the best place in north bay for all your tackle needs!
