I LOVE LISA'S DOG HOUSE! This is by far my favourite local pet store. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and they always remember me even with all the traffic they have coming through. My dogs love the rabbit sticks (which i was told was the most shoplifted item by dogs at their store lol)... Highly recommend Lisa's Doghouse as the best North Bay pet store!

I buy my cats feline fresh natural pine litter here. It's the best. It doesn't stick to their paws, lasts way longer than normal cat litter, and does not track as much as most litters do. I recommend it.

My go-to store I support for many reasons. The patient, friendly owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable about EVERY product in their store. They go out of their way to ensure you leave satisfied. Don't go there looking for 'cheap' quality items as they only sell quality products they believe in, not junk. Their prices are very competitive. This specialty store doesn't charge 'specialty store' prices. If you have concerns regarding dog behaviour etc., they will help by giving you recommendations of who to contact etc. Highly recommend Lisa's Doghouse. Ps. Bring your furbaby with you.

Always shopped at Global Pet Food but unfortunately had to close its doors. Told me I can pick up Buddy's food at Lisa's Doghouse Today I go, mentioned the higher price, was told it's what the suppliers tells them to price it at. When I questioned if both Global Global and Lisa's Doghouse buys from the same supplier why are they charging $43.99 to Global's $41.99 price. Was told the store does not appreciate attitude like I was displaying Tried shopping local and if no one carries product I need elsewhere , online it is. I was polite, only asked questions and I am told attitude problem!!!!! Bye bye Lisa's doghouse. Global Pet Food. Sure miss your welcoming and care you always showed your customers.

We have been dealing with Lisa's Doghouse for approx. 2.5 years now. We have always found the staff friendly and helpful. We have purchased toys, treats, food and clothing/harness from Lisa's, in fact were purchasing our dog's food there exclusively. A couple of days ago we were in the store to pickup some dog food. At this time we also purchased some KONG mini tennis balls [$11.95] for him and my husband asked if the fuzz coating would come off the tennis balls. The clerk said that it would not happen with these type. {KONG} The dog had the ball for 10 minutes and was chewing the fuzz coating off. The dog was sitting on my lap when this happened. With NO THOUGHT of asking for a refund, we dropped into the store to let them know that the fuzz coating does come off and could pose a choking hazard. My Husband was met with pure hostility from a person behind the counter. [short, slim male with a full dark beard] who said that the clerks would never say that and then proceed to take the ball out of my husbands hand and throw it in the garbage [an item that we had paid for and were not asking for a refund], while lecturing him on leaving our dog chewing things unsupervised. Since I had also heard the clerk say the fuzz coating would not come off, I went into the store to explain to this person that I had also heard the clerk say this. Again, I was met with pure hostility and total unwillingness to hear our side of the story. Needless to say, we will not be going back there. The total bizarre response from the clerk speaks for itself.

Absolutely amazing! Kept hearing about it and hearing about it, decided to walk in on a whim and was greeted so nicely, they even helped us find a food that our picky dog has loved! Sure it’s a touch more expensive but maybe a couple dollars but you are getting more then that back in the amazing service! As mentioned above our dog had begun to be very picky on food, they gave us some fantastic advice, gave us a whole bag of samples of pet food they recommended and it worked! Without even ever meeting my dog they made her very happy! After this first great experience I decided to bring my dog in and see how they do with her there! She’s still learning as a young dog a little over a year old, and they were incredibly patient with her and went through about 4 different harnesses to find the best one for her, they let us try them on and walk her around the store to see if it was truly the best for her! Sure enough within a few they found the perfect one for her, and at a reasonable price too! I simply cannot say enough about this place, food selection, pet selection and even the toy selection rival that of a larger chain any day! They have some really good food and that includes dry, semi dry and wet food! We will surely be back to support local! 5/5 all day long! Could spend all day in there talking with the awesome knowledgeable staff who really do care to get to know you and your pet!
