I really like grocery shopping at Food Basics. The staff is usually friendly, and very willing to answer any questions. I also really like their newest feature: self checkouts. Which is handy for small orders and also for those days that you just don't want to talk to anyone ????.

Stocked shelves, quickly went through the store with no hassle. Don't like the fact you must use a giant cart so they can know the number of people in the store. I think that could have been done better.

It is OK store BUT Please check the expire dates on the products. The store is mixing on the same shelf good expire days products and already expired. It could be dangerous if these are eggs or meat/chicken

One star as cashier only wearing a face shield! Spotted a cashier at till number 3 only wearing a face shield. This protects no one. I wish the store would not allow this. If cannot wear a mask do not employ as a cashier to the public. This individual should work only in her own office.

In the past I haven't really liked Food Basics, but the one in Orillia is great. Great prices, especially on fruit, and a great selection of products - even some beer and wine. I recommend it and I shop there regularly now.

I like shopping here because the store is clean & well stocked. The prices are competive & they always have lots of good sales on. The employees go out of their way to help you find what you need. If there is a line up, they move along quickly. I would highly recommend shopping here for all your grocery needs.
