Mr. Billy Bob Richards is a long time advocate for healthy ecosystems. Specifically, he has tried for years to bring public and political attention to the threat of fish habitat in Lake Nipissing and all lakes in general regarding untested minnows which can spread VHS – viral hemorrhagic septicemia – a disease that threatens fish stocks but doesn't hurt humans. He has advocated for the pilot programs to continue the licensing and testing of minnows for this disease so that bait sellers have to be certified. He was part of this pilot program because of his good reputation, transparency and actual care. In Short, Mr. Billy Bob Richards is a compassionate and wildlife loving activist.
