Rare that I get a miss but my fish and chips was okay, fries seemed from frozen and were dry, top of coleslaw was dry/soggy too and my partner's muscles were over cooked and tasted off. Sorry to say, not the best lunch. Service was good.

This was a great place for a patio lunch. The covered, yet open, patio area was well sources out. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time we were here. The menu was simple and the drinks were tasty. We had the fish and chips. The fish had a nice, crispy, light batter, but the fries were nothing special. Good portion sizes though.

Service was impeccable for a casual restaurant. Was not expecting such a delicious vegetarian meal.. think it was the Mediterranean salad and veggie wrap... was hard not to eat it all.. great portions. I wished the hostess had been a little more accommodating with the patio. Was there with a friend here from Italy. Felt a bit dark at the back and felt a different atmosphere.. more for families or groups of young people I'd say. Would book ahead in future when visiting from Toronto.

Huge disappointment. The meat in the schnitzel and souvlaki was obviously undercoooked. The waitress replaced the schnitzel but not souvlaki (‘that’s the way it should be’ she said.) seriously? Chicken looking pinkish inside is the way it should be? Even when I got more thoroughly cooked schnitzel, it didn’t taste good at all; either the meat is not fresh enough or it’s poor quality but it tasted bad and weird. I really didn’t expect that because 4 years ago we had a great meal at this restaurant; we still have pictures of the lamb shank that they served as their special back then. This time, it was supposed to be a highlight of our long-awaited trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Instead it pretty much ruined our day. My daughter said she liked her chicken burger but she had stomach aches for almost an hour afterward which made me worried. I think it’s because her meat was also undercooked. Disgusting.

Had their fish and chips. The fish was excellent, fries could have been a little crispier but that may be more preference. The coleslaw was a bit soggy, and I didn't enjoy it much. Overall the meal was good, and the service was excellent. Loved that the patio was heated and we could sit out there, so we could get a view of the main strip. It was overall a great atmosphere and I would return.

Food was very nice. I had creamy prosciutto pasta and my partner had the fish and chips. However the staff were a bit rude and our waitress was very forgetful. She completely forgot to bring us salt, vinegar and parmesan for my pasta. There was no apology. We were also waiting quite a while for our bill. We had to purchase bottled water because that's all they're doing at the moment which doesn't make sense to me. Everywhere else in the town provided tap water.

Unfortunately this restaurant has the distinction of being the worst place I think I’ve ever eaten. The good feedback: martini was good and they have fresh air inside. The rest: The food was horrid, tasteless and none of us could eat what was placed in front of us. Don’t trust the kitchen if you are celiac. Order something with a gluten free symbol, and get bread with your order. Then have tour server apologize and bring you fresh bread. ????

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. The service was exceptional all thanks to our server John who was very kind and polite with us. Food was on time and tasted amazing!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Niagara on the Lake.

They served my friend an uncooked Chicken Madeira... the waitress was super diligent with getting a new one prepared but then they didn’t take the dish off her bill or comp any of her drinks. We all thought that was a poor response to serving raw chicken and not having the pleasantry of dining with the rest of our table.

Just an OK place to eat. The cost is higher than average but still in the moderate range. My said the fish and chips were good. I found the philly steak sandwich which was a little tough, mainly because it is cut thick. Service is quick and friendly. Had a bite for lunch.

Nice patio and setup and good service. Unfortunately, the food which is well priced for the area, was very bland. We had the mussels in an almost water broth, chicken Madeira which had no semblance of a Madeira. Steak Frites was fine though. They need to work on their flavourings.

I love this restaurant. It's 1# "Fish and Chips". Everything is fresh. I like the soft and crunchy bread that just baked/toasted, delicious muscles and soup, fish fillet. It deserves to be the number one "Fish and Chips". The price is very reasonable. The covered patio is very nice.

Location and view is what got the 2 stars. Me and my family (husband and 2 very young kids) came here during the long weekend in May. We sat at the front "patio like" space they had which was pleasant. However, I found that our server needs more training. 1. Our beverage was water for the table, it made no sense that she gave us 2 glasses versus 4 when there was 4 of us; 2. We had to ask for another 2 glasses of water midway through lunch because we were hoping she would figure it out; 3. I had requested to have another tin of crayons so that it was a peaceful lunch without the kids fighting over the 1 tin of crayons, the server’s response: she physically took out crayons in the existing tin we had and gave them to one of the kids while looking at me as if I hadn’t thought of that solution; 4. Same case for cutlery, we were only given 2 sets rather than 4 as if my children (5 and 2 didn’t exist); and 5. No attention to refill the water. We had ordered the baked Brie, the burger and the goat cheese chicken penne. The brie was probably the best of the 3. The burger was dry and nothing special. The pasta was bland.

To summarize in one word "bland". Ordered the chicken madeira and I swear the carrots and green beans were plastic. Mashed potatoes was just that and the chicken, blah. Totally overpriced.

Wonderful food, and great service. Everything was done perfectly. We came on a very hot day after a long bike ride and were given a table inside when one became available where it was cooler. Service was quick and prices were right. Highly recommending this place.

An average dining experience. Service was generally friendly if a bit slow, and the tables on the patio are too tightly packed together. The food was as expected - good serving sizes and well prepared. One member of our party had a small issue with the accuracy of his order, but nothing critical. If returning to the area, I would probably look elsewhere for lunch.

A good atmosphere and great service, unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired for myself and the others in my party. The fish and chips were fine but nothing extraordinary for the price point which unfortunately is quite high even for the area, especially when it comes to drinks. Th waiter we had was incredibly friendly and understanding and when two of our part did not enjoy their meal, they were offered refunds which I found to be very generous.

Boyfriend and I loved corks when we came in March 2020 and sat on their heated patio. We came back July of this year for my birthday and I was SO disappointed. The service was mediocre. The gyro was described as having sliced lamb on the menu, when I received it it was ground lamb. Absolutely disgusting, couldn’t finish it. The waitress asked why I didn’t finish, I explained that it was advertised differently on the menu and I didn’t enjoy it, her response was oh sorry. Would have been nice if I was offered something in its place. Left hungry. Unfortunately won’t go back.

DO NOT try and host an event here! Back in September I was planning my wedding to be in the Niagara region, I had emailed around looking for a place to hold my reception, and corks was willing to host it for me, while almost every other restaurant in the Niagara region was too busy or not taking large reservations at the time. While helpful at the beginning, now coming closer to my wedding in October, we were trying to narrow down details, while yes I fully understand the that covid is going on, a response from someone would have been great. I had been emailing with Maria, and all of a sudden the emails stopped. Trying to ask about decorations and no response. My mother had tried to call and ask about menu options, the phone was answered and while yes it was a busy weekend, we were told someone would call or email us right away, 5 days later and still not call or email. I sent out another email, reached out through their Instagram since they were active on their Instagram and posting,and left a voicemail again. With the uncertainty of this restaurants co operation, I had to make the unfortunate decision as to completely rebook my wedding just 7 months before, so thank you corks for not even having the decency to return a phone call or email to a very stressed out bride during the pandemic UPDATE: as soon as I sent this out, less than 10 minutes after I FINALLY received an email from them, pretty convenient and disappointing that’s what it took for them to respond

Amazing customer service at this cool bar and patio in the busy part of Niagara On The Lake. The patio was full but the setup was well done and really makes for an awesome atmosphere. Ordered the Crab Cakes, Fish & Chips & Quinoa Salad with Chicken at the table and they were all done very well. The Bar Tender was very attentive and so were the servers. Very comfortable experience and will definitely return when I'm back in town.

Fantastic restaurant! Friendly serving staff with tasty food! The fish and chips is amazing. Crispy, flavourful and a good portion. The coleslaw is also fantastic. We ordered the crab cakes also and would recommend it too.

RUDEST OWNER I'VE EVER SEEN!! If I could give 0 stars I would. We were here a few days ago and waiting in line to come in behind an elderly couple. The gentleman was struggling to get up the front stairs of the restaurant when a lady (who I assume was the owner) stormed out and yelled "Stop right there sir, you need to wait at the door like everybody else!" The gentleman was clearly shocked (as was I) and apologized. She proceeded to very rudely demand proof of vaccination from him and his wife. Not even one ounce of compassion for the man who clearly struggled with mobility issues and was just trying to make it up the stairs. I've never been more disgusted watching the interaction, and I can't believe I didn't speak up. I guess I was just in shock. My husband and I immediately got out of line and went elsewhere for lunch. I get that it was busy, and that protocols are complicated in the Covid age, but to not have a single shred of kindness or decency towards another human being was simply appalling. I will never dine here. I will tell everyone I know to never dine here. And I recommend to anyone reading this to never dine here. I've never written a single online review in my life, because quite frankly, my time is too valuable. But this horrendous display of customer service deserved to be called out. Disgusting.

The PEI mussels were delicious! The broth was amazing after squeezing the lemons in there, and I made sure to soak it all up with the bread. The lamb poutine was good but a little too salty for me. The chicken caesar wrap was pretty good as well. The waitress was really nice and made sure my cup of water stayed full.

Tried this during a slow lunch day and loved the service but the fish and chips were a letdown. Upon entering the hostess was incredibly friendly and really made us comfortable. We sat in the front patio which was warm and cozy on a cold winter's day. We decided to order the crab cakes to start which were moist and filled with crab which was delicious and my favourite part of the meal. We then ordered the fish and chips which was recommended. Unfortunately this was a letdown as it was too oily and lacked any flavor. I expected more for the price I was paying and would advise to order something else. All in all I would comeback as the service was fantastic but would stay away from the fish and chips.

Very over priced for flavorless food and beer. Their house blond beer is basically carbonated yellow water. The waiter described it as having great flavor. Couldn't be further from the truth. Their fish and chips were heavily battered with no flavour. I couldn't taste any flavor from the fish at all. The French fries were the best part of this meal and they were just average fries. Service was slow even though the place was not very busy. They charge top dollar because of their location but everything was just terrible. I'll never even consider going back.

Really nice restaurant in Niagara-on-the-lake. They have a heated patio and lots of seating inside. Great food and drink selection. We ordered the fist and chips and they were delicious!

We were here on Monday and I wish I had taken more photos. This was our second time here and the food was just as good as the first if not better. Lots of options for everyone. Our waiter was Ryan and he was exceptional with not only how he assisted us but with how he was helping other guests as well. I ordered a coffee to go with my meal and Ryan took the time to make a fresh pot just to ensure it was fresh. Thanks for the great service and we'll be sure to stop in again when we're in the area.

Great service and tasty food. Have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend for either breakfast or lunch. I had the steak frites. Also, due to COVID-19, if you are looking for a patio, I would recommend this one above all others along main street (even during a post pandemicworld). The patio even has a solid covering in case the rain catches you during your meal.

Went here to try the “best fish and chips in Niagara” so they stare inside. Well It was fantastic, place is decorated with corks and is a nice pub where you can take the family out for lunch. It was clean and the wait staff was nice. We all ordered the fish and chips and it came hot and quick. Fish was a decent size and had a great crunch to it. The fish inside was white soft and fresh. The price was ok had some fresh cut fries too. Here is my meal and my daughters which was great too. Decent portions!

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful (it would better if it didn't have a tv), the food was exceptional, large portions and very tasty. The servers were slow, extremely friendly but not in any great hurry to tend to us once we were seated. We ordered; Pork schnitzel Bruschetta bread with goat cheese Rocket salad with chicken The salad was large enough to split! It was recommended to come because of their brownie dessert, however, we were too full to order it! Gives us a reason to go back.

Overall a great experience for ambiance and service. Ordered fish and chips, pork souvlaki, crab cakes as an appetizer and Reif Estate Chardonnay. Fish and chips were excellent. Souvlaki was overcooked and dry. Salad that came with the souvlaki was very good. So the down side to the meal was the souvlaki. That was a fail. Waitress fun fun and full of energy. Check the place out, just avoid the souvlaki.

Niagara on the lake is a very busy place. The other places we wanted to go to was an hour wait. This place was a shorter wait. We opted to sit at the bar to eat as it was the quickest way to get food. The menu is good with a lot of choices. The food came super fast which was the best thing about this place. The food is good. The price is average for a tourist place. I felt the service could of been better. The girl at the front was friendly but the wait staff were all not the happiest people. I think all of Niagara is like that. Not happy to be serving,tourist all day long. I asked for another wait staff for water as I was not able to find mine. She said you have to ask your server. I guess she felt she didnt want wait on me as my tip would not go to her. They do have a patio at this place which looks like an awesome place to sit and eat.

The appetizers were really good, especially the bruschetta and the crab cakes. The salmon was a bit dry as was the steak which we had to send back in exchange for the fish and chips. The service and atmosphere were excellent!

Edward is amazing! This area gets a lot of tourists so it's always busy so it's refreshing to see a server with such a great aura and providing a great experience. The food was absolutely fantastic with very generous portions. All together it's our favorite spot on the strip.

Don't waste your money. Such a disappointment after reading so many positive reviews. The food is poor quality at best. $9.50 for a Sangria, I don't want frozen fruit and water down fruit juice, I sent it back. The chicken maderia was $24.95, you get old green beans and carrots, a pile of mash potatoes and a pounded out chicken breast that was tasteless and covered in mushroom gravy. Overpriced and a waste of money.

Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The hamburger my son ordered tasted as dry as a "cork". Waitress was so rude that she didn't even care when we brought it to her attention, let alone do anything about it. This place is not worth the prices they charge, and they even charge for water!!! After all this we didn't even get to decide how much gratuity we wanted to pay the waitress. She automatically applied her own 15% tip to our bill.

The quinoa salad was alright but nothing outstanding and the fish and chips I hear was good (looked like a smallish portion for the price). The serviced was really great and they were very accommodating with my many requests to try either the wine or beer. I settled on the Stonewall light and the man on the red lager - both were great!

The atmosphere is v nice as well as the interior but the cook is definitely scared of using ANY spices. No salt, no pepper, nothing - food was really bland. We (group of 4) ordered 4 different dishes and all of them lacked of any flavor. Veggie wrap, burgers, philly cheese steak... Tasted like nothing to be honest! Maybe the cook should watch Dune as the spice is a great deal there ;)

Friendly staff and food was delicious. Had the special of the day, Pork Schnitzel and fries. The sauce was good and there was not too much breading ok the pork. Also the fries was not bad, nothing special about it. Portions are a bit big since they provide a lot of fries with the dish. Would definitely recommend for others to try.
