Happened to drop in to purchase some boots for my son and it was the night that Santa arrived at the store. I have to say that Bass Pro really made it special for everyone with hot chocolate and cookies, activities for the kids and the jolly old man himself. I have to say that the store and staff really captured the feeling of Christmas. I am giving four star for the effort that was made to make the kick off to the Christmas season grand. Unfortunately, finding someone to assist us in the shoe department was difficult. During the hour there, I saw a lot of staff hovering but not assisting anyone in the department. I went through eight pair of boots before I saw one young staff member appear and assisted the lengthy amount of customers in the department. At the time of checkout, the service was prompt and friendly. The cashiers informed us of the upcoming events that the store was offering. I would have given a full five stars if it wasn't for the staff that was not helpful in the shoe department.

The store is huge and the cabin theme is incredibly executed throughout it. The aquarium with local fish species was a favorite of my kids. There are lots of neat items that you wouldn't see just anywhere, but you will pay for it, the items in the store are not cheap. It is a store we like to visit often as we are local.

I procrastinated this week and did not order a pair of bibs to go hunting this weekend.. I called the Niagara store and spoke with Stephanie. She was AMAZING! She was able to ensure that the item I needed was in stock and checked in with her co-workers to make sure it would be warm enough. Hands down the worst shopping experience from any retailer. First time customer and last time buyer. While I was ok with learning online pricing is in USD...very confusing for someone who has never shopped here to then also be told the same sales don’t apply in store after you have selected your store like any other retail shopping experience. Told to sign up for newsletter to receive CAD offers and prices...offered a $10 gift card upon sign up and then told at the check out they don’t accept them. Won’t be shopping here again.

Terrible service. They are currently advertising 2-day shipping. ABSOLUTE LIES! My order was made on 4/3/2020 and I have yet to receive all the items I paid for. I attempted to contact them three times, through the online chat function, which involved waiting in a queue for over 30 minutes only for the chat to drop once I made it to the front. I also tried calling them and gave up after 20 minutes of the torturous hold music. Finally I sent them an email regarding my order because they were very vague on what was shipped and what was not. Surprisingly no response. My last item is "supposed" to arrive on 4/17/2020. That will be the last time I do business with Bass Pro. I am very disappointed in the quality of service and the complete lack of communication. I know staff is cut back right now due to the current circumstances but I gave them three opportunities to make it right and they failed. I suggest you make your purchases in your local Bass Pro/Cabelas and skip the online purchases with this company.

Walking distance for me and all my boating/fishing needs. Good prices, good selection. staff needs to be more alert and helpful, some don't have much fishing experience. Cont: pretty disappointed this year. Looking to pre order a Shimano reel and they try to sell me last yrs model. They then try to tell me there isn’t much difference between the old and new model. That’s very disappointing and very misinformed about a product that they are suppose to be knowledgeable about. BassPro should be careful on the individuals they hire. Real Anglers know exactly when they are just getting scammed for a quick sale. Revamp the fishing section here for experienced anglers. I also find they have attitude when corrected. Not impressed....Cont'. Their curbside ordering is horrible, they don't even get back to you when inquiring on a purchase. I called about an item on sale and they were quick to just say they are sold out. I checked again and there was stock of this item which I had to order and have shipped to this location. Isn't this what they are suppose to do for the customer?? They flat out dont care to help or make a sale, the entire fishing department is useless and needs to be replaced asap! Pathetic! Update: 07/28/2021. Very disappointed in the selection of items recently. Even multiple friends have mentioned that this location has very little stock on simple fishing gear. How long can this place remain open, thats the question. Boating service...... overpriced bad labor

Live this location. Located right beside the outlet mall. You don't even have to move your car! Great selection of everything you'd come to expect from a Bass Pro except for boats and 4 wheelers. Ask about their discounts for law enforcement. I believe they also have a discount for first responders as well. The discount is only available certain days of the month though.

Always a pleasure to shop at this location. Clean and professional looking, even during the holidays. Staff is never far and always helpful. I purchased my first hip waders and am not disappointed at all. The range finder I was looking was out of stock, however they wrote a rain check promptly. I requested if there was anything similar in the price range and they didn't try to up sell me. Pet friendly is a major reason why I frequent this location for my out door needs.

Front door staff was helpful but the floor staff we asked questions to was rude and very unhelpful. COVID spacing was a joke. The retail displays were so close together and getting around was a maze. I couldn’t even exit without getting too close to people because the walkways through the displays were so narrow. And the only way to exit is through a narrow customer till/aisle. We were looking for some information about bows and we’re told very rudely that the archery people aren’t in and no alternative or additional information about when to come back was given. Condescending and made us feel so uncomfortable. Very disappointing for such a beautiful store. Clearly not concerned about customer service, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Bass pro is not only a very clean place with super knowledgeable staff they also are pet friendly me and my wife take both our dogs to get photos done with the family and normally go with a couple other couples with dogs and they are very professional in handling all the chaos that comes with lots of dogs. I also buy my hunting gear and equipment always learn something new from the staff cause they are actually using the equipment themselves and hunt. Overall never a bad experience at this store only wish that they had more open times to learn the compound bow in their back training area and due to COVID I don’t see it being even open.

A “Shockingham” Shockingham

It’s a good store for things hunting and fishing but beware of warranty issues. I bought some lifetime warranty socks which got a hole in them. I called the head office and they told me that they don’t have that product anymore but to take it to the store and they would give me another product. Went to the store and I was told they don’t do it anymore. I explained about calling head office and how I made the trip in store but all the clerk said was sorry. Bought the socks with a lifetime warranty that apparently is only a five year warranty after the fact. Very sad and misleading. Too bad the clerk was unhelpful and they don’t stand behind their product. **Edit** I contacted Bass Pro/Cabela’s and received an email offering to send me a replacement for the socks. They arrived a few days later. I appreciate them reaching out to make things right, but it would have been better to give me $10 socks at the store and honour their warranty. I adjusted them up one star.

Husband loved it, glad we went while we were visiting the falls and clifton Hill, they have some amazing spices in the camping department for fish, chicken or pork! I loved the women's clothing selection I got a hat some nice shorts and a plaid shirt, hubby got a bunch of things for upcoming hunting season. Great place !

Incredible selection for the outdoor hunting/fishing enthusiast. Expect to spend a lot of time if you are just browsing around since the store is huge. Not sure if the prices are worth it though if compared to online stores since I am not a hunter/fishermen but the store is worth a visit due to the size.

As long as you're not terrified by taxidermy hunting targets, this store is as much a tourist attraction as it is a outdoorsman Superstore. It's a neat place to walk around and witness what hunters and fishermen will spend thousands of dollars on. My only disappointment was that the vast array of stuffed prey adorning the walls didn't hop up on their hind feet and start singing with animatronics like they would if this was a Disney store

If you're into fishing, hunting, camping, sport shooting, boating, etc... this is the place for you. I can spend HOURS in Bass Pro Shops... I lost my wife and son in there 2 weeks ago and now I own a new deer stand & beach sun shelter... luckily, my wife got a whiff of my "Ima buy the whole store" scent and found me before choosing a boat and an ATV... Saw several common items there priced at double what they could be purchased for elsewhere.i also dont get the high priced self promoting T shirts. I visited this shop for the first time and tell you this one is a must place to visit for all camping guys.. they have everything from a loonie item to $100k private boat. The quality and variety both are good. Prices are very competitive. Even if you dont do camping, i will suggest visiting this place once to see the useful items they have in store

The staff is incredible always! Ryan was incredible with us. We have a plan to do a family of 4 (plus our Labrador) 5-7 day hike in Killarney next fall. Ryan shared so many of his own hiking experiences with us and guided us to so many fantastic products in the store. Thank You Ryan, we will be back! Next we were off to the footwear department. I think her name was Tiffany but there were two young ladies helping us fit our new hiking boots. Again... top notch customer help! Thank you all so much, all departments have been a great help at some point or another. Five Star ???????????????????? All day long!

Always enjoy my visits here. Keep an eye on their flyers and you can get some pretty sweet deals. Free treats for your four legged hunting friend, and the kiddies can view a very large tank full of the fish in lake ontario. Certain days you can watch them being fed! Staff are usually on game and make the experience more enjoyable.

Nice spot and location, but the one of the fly shop staff needs more training. I watched/listened to a sales person, completely over complicate a beginner's set up for a customer that wanted to get into the sport. She was steered away from good, and easy equipment and supplies, and directed to purchase other stuff that would absolutely not be easy to use for a beginner. I'm not sure if this was lack of knowledge? I realize this is an isolated incident (I hope), but I found it odd. This was in mid June 2019. I'm sure the rest of the store is excellent

A trip to Florida would not be complete without a visit to Bass Pro Shops in Tampa. A trip here teases the senses just as much. No different than the Vaughan BPS store, it has multiple departments and a tank to amuse visitors. It’s a great walk to see new sporting and recreation products. Store staff are very helpful and greet you with a smile. I bought a nice shirt off the many clearance rack. Checkout was quick.

When the "Greeter" starts off with a rude "Excuse Me" rather than a Hi, Hello or Welcome.. we should have took as a sign and just turned right around. The rudeness and feeling of being unwelcomed just carried on right through the entire store. My SO had the same experience and was in a completely different section of the store. As a POC I know the feeling and vibe very well. Diversity? Not sure this location knows what that is.

Good for the basics for outdoor adventure. Sales staff aren't really helpful if you can find someone. Prices are pretty high too. You're better off going to a local tackle shop where you'll receive much better service and better prices. Bass pro is convenient for small stuff because it's close by and open late. I bought a 300 dollar pair of ray band glasses from this location with a 1 year warranty. The person I purchased the glasses from took down all my information. 2 months later the arm snapped off and I called in to find out about the warranty and I'm being told I need the receipt or they cant do anything even though it took him 10 minutes to take down information but apparently they cant look that up. What a waste of time and money. Will not be returning to this franchise. Like they don't make enough money they have to screw me over on top of it

My daughter and I have been to many BassPro Shops across North America and this location is an excellent example of how retail is done right. Best Amazing Customer Service ever. Outstanding People Where do I begin! This is a long one my friends. Here is two experiences.... June 2021. I'll start with the biggest and best thing that is closest to my heart.... I am mask exempt (I have a Canada government badge, which I sadly feel the need to display for others(roar), however, even with it at other stores, I still usually get asked if I have one, will wear one!!!! Or I am segregated from entering entirely). The lady at the door smiled(its hard to tell but you get the idea) and welcomed me in, and every single employee smiled at me and looked me in the eyes! and from what I felt held no judgement. This alone made me feel like the shopping experience was excellent ( it should be standard procedure but Mask mandates are all dropping anyways) Now, everything else. I was helped by someone in almost every section they have that I went to! I went to several! I'm an over preparer. I asked a ton of questions lol! and they gave informed answers, showed to me and explained the selection and alternatives. Everyone was so nice. Anyways, I got a ton of stuff and happily cashed out. The cashiers were timely and offered me a points card and if I wanted to donate(which I declined the points card on my own terms but they offered). Good job. ------ Now, the second experience. After the last visit I returned a few weeks later with the huge hiking backpack I got. After realizing it just couldnt possibly work(my own bad), the wonderfully helpful Shawna was able to find my receipt through the system even though I paid with cash! (I never expected to return anything so I tossed my receipt) I rattled off all the other items I had bought that day and gave her the total and all sorts of other info that obv no one could just guess) I was amazed their system could find it. Super cool. Up until this 2020, I use to work in retail and usually the systems cant find cash receipts without internal investigations and all that. So again, she found it within I think 5 mins! Good for her. Anyways, because she was able to do that, I was able to get the full original amount I paid back on a gift card(that backpack just went on sale! I was worried I'd lose over 100$!), which I was not really expecting to be able to return and was mostly just inquiring with hope lol but I was ready to have to accept that I wouldnt be able to return it at all.... which I would have sadly understood. (No receipt, no return is fair.) It was alot of money and never used so it would have really sucked to have to sell it online and someone offer 1/3 the price or something silly. Anyways. Idk who hires the people at this location but keep up the good selection! Whatever your standards are, it's working! Most retail peoples ideology is minimum wage, minimum effort but not here. Oh and the store is always very clean and tidy too. Which even before 2020, I very much appreciated. Long story over. Short story.... BEST Bass Pro Shop!

I've always loved the store, but unfortunately there are employees who are not following COVID safety rules. Being in close proximity to customers but not wearing their masks. I emailed management to bring this to their attention and have not received a reply. I will not be going back anytime soon.

The biggest Bass Pro Shop I've seen with the widest and largest selection available. It seems endless once you get inside. Plus this has the best taxidermy natural scenes anywhere. With the grand fish tank display in the center, can easily waste a few hours taking it all in!

Oh my gosh they have the best candles and drizzle melts for your candle warmer. They are made with 100% soybean wax, very fragrant oils, they melt beautifully, and smell amazing!! A little more expensive than others but one brick lasts a good week and there are 6 in the package. Love them!!

Santa and the girl taking the picture did a great job but when it came to selecting our photo the girl was busy talking to her friend and just selected the photo which was not our favourite as our sons mouth was open. We had asked to see another as we did not like it and the lady taking the picture said there were many good options. She said no this was the best and asked if we wanted to purchase a package. Which was obviously a no as we did not like the photo and was not given any other options. I was very disappointed as this was our sons first photo with Santa. Wish she would have taken the time with us to find the good photo instead of rushing so we could have actually purchased a package.

I love the bass pro shop. They have great deals and so much variety. Lately I just went and grabbed clothes and shoes and saddles. But I find you get a good bang for your buck there and the stuff looks nice. The store is so big, so big you can get lost in it it is well kept and very neat and tidy. It still looks brand new. It is not hard to find an employee for help and the check out lines are fast

I have spent thousands of dollars in the store in the past but today was unbelievable after waiting 20 minutes in the shoe section to try to buy my son a pair of boots Not one person came to ask a question or help us there was there was no way to measure my son's feet and the boots I was looking for were not available on the floor I left the store empty handed back to the neighborhood tackle shop for me

What a big store. They will have all your hunting and fishing needs. The store has quality products but be prepared to pay for them. It is conveniently located just off of the highway close to other outlet shopping stores for an all in one shopping experience. Lots of parking and lots of options in the store. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great store to shop in. Good variety of men's and women's casual and sports wear in wide range of sizes. Phenomenal service. Fishing boats and all manner of lures and other gear, as well as everything you could want if you're a hunter. Plus, they let dogs in, something anyone who loves the great outdoors can relate to!!!

This is a GREAT outdoor shop, I normally go there to buy me fishing stuff, they have a great selection and reasonable prices. I can't forget to mention the very helpful and friendly staff there. When you visit don't forget to check the Gigantic fish tank at the back and be sure to check the fish feeding time, it's cool seeing this big fish eat :) .

Instead, they've offered me to step aside to wait while they serve other customers. This bass pro the staff were friendly. They have ice fishing tents set up that you try out and gage space inside. The layout was just amazing and creative just so amazing everywhere you look and walk feel like you in nature. I realy liked the water falls and fish tank. We just went there today for the Easter bunny pictures and it was so well done! They had you reserve the time slot and then wait in line socially distanced then it was a really good quality photo with the Easter bunny behind an invisible plexiglass for safety!!

Great shop for the men. I could literally spend hours in here. Everything from quads and small boats to BBQ equipment and clothing. I also enjoyed watching the huge fish tank at the back end of the shop. Will definitely visit again.

Great place for fishing gear. I'd give it 5 stars but the prices are high. Even still I continue to shop here, the selection is the best by far. They are also one of the few places you can ontain a fishing license. Good camping supplies as well.
