Great views of Niagra Falls, delicious foods, fantastic drinks, and awesome staff! As they claim they “support local distilleries Dillon’s Vodka, Forty Creek Whisky, Niagara Falls Distiller’s and Wayne Gretzky Rye” which is a plus to me.
Was there 2 weeks ago, I mean no matter when you go these guys got it right, service top notch food 10 out of 10. I have them 4 starts for the fact that one staff was eating in the floor beside us and thought it was unprofessional. Yet I will be back there very soon, great wines and beers. Very recommended. Blue cheese steak to die for. Thank you and keep up the great work
So spectacular the food, the service, my daughter's wedding overlooking the falls, just perfect. A fairytale wedding.
Awesome view overlooking the falls, you would have to book in advance to fully take advantage of it, though. Had a good burger and descent tacos.
Had lunch here & it was great! The French fries are really good. Recommend for lunch if you are in the area!
Amazing view. Very good food. Special thanks to Samantha for her amazing service. Totally recommended.
Waitress was great, also greeter. Food was ok, but not quality I would have expected, a little pricy for what you actually get.
A perfect place for having an amazing view of Niagara Falls and enjoying the most delicious foods in the city! Fabulous view, lovely and pilot staff, high-quality foods.
Limited menu, but amazing view of the falls as you are enjoying your meal
Great food, service and view of the falls!
Very beautiful scenery and view on the falls. Very courteous staff and servers. Delicious variety of dishes.
Great View of falls but not so great food
Fantastic! Shaun our server was amazing! Food was awesome! Views stunning! The last time I had been to this restaurant I was a kid and it Emmy mom having a baked Alaska (which they don’t have) we will be back again! If we can get a table lol!
Cool place to eat with nice view of the falls. Food was delicious and the service was good.
The server was the best part of our experience. The portions were small, and the food was subpar, unfortunately. We ordered the cheese dip and the sliders - the cheese dip tasted like cheez whiz and the bread with it was not great, as well as small portions. The sliders tasted alright, but it was basically a ham and cheese sandwich. And for 16-ish dollars, three small ham and cheese sandwiches were not worth it. ALSO on top of the bad quality food, they make you pay an extra $10 per hour for parking.
Great food and good service! The staffs are friendly and accomodating. I enjoyed having lunch here with the majestic Niagara falls on the view.
Love at the first sight! Perfect location for the Falls view, especially the fireworks at night Awesome drinks( try Caesar, you will love it) I had the Ravioli, Taco and the Seafood trio. All were superb. Food tasted fresh and delicious. I am going back soon
Had a great time walking the Niagara Falls strip and we decided to stop in at this local stop for a quick bite to eat. Well I normally don’t like to give bad reviews however this one could not be passed up. Unless you like to swim in mayo don’t order the Caesar salad. There was so much dressing on this thing it would have been better off calling it coleslaw. The Bri was bland and I am not ever sure how you do that. If you are taking in the eighth wonder of the world do yourself a favor and pass on this place.
Went to this restaurant late September and absolutely loved my experience, the food, the view and the amazing waitress. If you want a great view and a great ambiance, go!
I love this place. Great service, great food! Enjoying Waterfalls with amazing dessert and coffee made me super happy!
Giving this place a worthy of 5 stars due to delicious locally sourced- fresh ingredients and diverse VQA wines and beers. Their terrace is so relaxing and beautiful. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the view of both falls in Niagara. Service is so welcoming and friendly. Just beware of long line up ???? Ordered Trout, Berry cocktails, and Strawberry Shortcake.
This place has a lot of potential to be great. Unfortunately the food does not live up to expectations. Charging $23 for a burger without fries is just ridiculous. Nice views but that’s about it
Had a wonderful lunch here. Our waitress Donna, was very nice, attentive and welcoming. Food was great! We were seated at the railing so we had the best view. Definitely recommend a visit.
Worst customer service I've ever encountered, and rude !! When we told the waitress we want to leave because she didn't give us a good table , she said "perfect" !!??
Ordered: crispy chicken - mediocre nothing special. Tacos - it was good Bread and 3 cheese - super salty and bread was cold. Service: server was not attentive. She was all over the place What you are paying for is the view of the falls and people walking by.
Visited this evening for dinner from out of town, first visit and definitely not our last. Amazing view, nice patio. Server was nice & really good food. Drinks were strong too. (Only thing that was so-so was the 3 cheese dip)
This rating is based solely on experience and it was great... my wife and I stepped in for a cold drink on a hot day, though the drinks left us with something more to be desired (lime was super sour, pinacolada super sweet. We eventually mixed the 2 and found a nice balance). Food looked great(we didnt order but saw others who did) and the view/cool breese was spectacular, our server was not forceful, didnt pressure us to order food and really allowed us to enjoy our drink(45mins) without hassle. Will Deffinatly return to try the food.
We stopped by on our way back to the hotel for 2 pm lunch. Asked if we could sit by the railing closest to the the falls and they said no - there were 5 open tables on the rail. The food was absolutely gross. Server was only good point. When we left, all 5 tables on the rail remained unoccupied. First and last time here.
Excellent service! Home made fries are tasty and worth trying. Food are tasty and large. You get a meal with a great view as well.
Good view on the falls but the food and wine were very bad, service and standing very poor. For the price you can expect better. Too bad for this kind of restaurant.
Very rude and unprofessional customer service, they wanted to give me their worst table, when I insisted for a better table, they kept lied that other tables are reserved, after I asked for 4 other vacant tables, they gave up and they gave me one of those table!!! although it has a beautiful and awesome location, menu was so limited and food was very bad and awful. Not recommend at all, unless whole management change, it looks like since they know people will come anyway because of location, they don't care about customers.
Amazing restaurant, great fun staff, delicious food and a gorgeous view of the falls! This made my trip to Canada all the more special.
I finally get a table after trying 3 times where they either forgot to call me or called too late or had written wrong number...very restricted .I ordered a place Victoria burger and a lemonade....the burger is 23 and was as small as it …
We managed to get a table for a walk-in lunch on a quiet Friday, which was nice. The burger didn't quite deliver on flavour or value, but the overall experience of open air dining overlooking the falls made up for it.
I’m pretty sure I had food poisoning here, I felt sick literally 30mins after eating here. The staffs were not very attentive either, although I will give at least a star to our server who tried her best to keep us entertained despite not being impressed with the food. I was given a complimentary lunch here while on a tour with a company that guided us through the Niagara Falls, so this wasn’t our choice to have lunch. I must say I loved the view from the restaurant, being able to see the fall while eating is a treat. The restaurant is simple with lovely decors to give off the Victorian vibe. I didn’t enjoy the food at all and I did smell something off from the soup. I didn’t say anything at first because I thought I was just overthinking and I was super hungry too. But feeling sick right after has only made me realize that it was probably from this place (it was also my first meal that day). I’m not going to complain because I was given the lunch as a compliment but I would be cautious while eating here.
Local flight tasting or sparking soda.. meal n a view..definately here if you like big chunks of cheese in cesar salad ymmz! Watch out for bees on patio. Has stairs in front.
You get what you pay for...it was delicious! I don’t have photos of our meals, but I can say that the 40 Creek BBQ Pulled Chicken Soft Tacos and Niagara Harvest Salad were great! The staff is quite friendly and service is quick & we were a party of about 50. We were seated outside on the covered patio. The weather was super at 70F/21C. There are heater under the canopy if it’s chilly, but we didn’t need them. Perfect location as you can see the Falls from there & its an awesome photo spot. I’d definitely eat here again. Edit: It’s a year later and I’m back with my mom. Having a bowl of the cheddar lager soup and it’s quite tasty. We’ve both ordered the Harvest Salad with peaches being the seasonal fruit & a peach Chardonnay dressing. Still delicious, still a fantastic view and while more pricey than most places, I don’t mind because the service is still awesome and you just can’t beat the view!
A large restaurant with a great view of the falls. In the evening there’s also music playing on a stage nearby. The restaurant serves western food, relatively healthy with entrees, mains and desserts. They’re quite pricy but the food looked really good, like antipasto, salmon and risotto to name a few. We had drinks here only - a beer paddle and a local wine paddle to sample a few of the variations. We enjoyed sampling these. Service was a bit varied. When we ordered, the drinks came out fast, but it was hard to get the waiters attention. Despite this, I’d recommend visiting here because a drink with this view is worth it.
Neat environment. Great view of the falls. Broken air blowers with rust present in the men's washroom. Two of the dishes we ordered came out cold. One order was wrong. The rest of the food was fine, not great.
Produce sticker still on my tomato; waitress touches the entire top of my cup when refilling it almost on purpose to get me infected Food is very expensive and taste is below average
Food was not fresh, server admitted they use frozen food, service wasn't the greatest even at not so busy time. You are pretty much paying for cheap food but an amazing view. I guess it's worth it if you take pictures of your food like me.
The view is fantastic from the patio but food is way below average. Menu items is very limited . Order hamburger and would say the taste is not what I expect from $25 sandwich and fries . My wife ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and it was up better. The service is average as an example we ordered bottle of water and the server brought the glasses wet and had stains . You don’t expect such thing in such peace. We visited this place two years ago and it was fully packed and much much better .
Visited the restaurant this weekend and was very impressed by the view but disappointed in the food. The cheese dip was????. The stake had no flavour just bland, fried chicken ties over cooked and tasteless, kale salad on the side drenched in dressing until it was thick and slimy????. Fish was over cooked, dry. For a beautiful place like that with hardly anything on the menu to choose from was a terrible experience. So disappointed!!
We had a reservation for a party of 3 at 6pm. I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. The food was delicious and the view was fantastic. Cameron was our waiter and he was very attentive and polite. We accidentally broke a glass and he made sure everyone was okay and our food didn't get ruined. We had a wonderful dinner and will definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.
I give them a 5 star because we were so impressed with our whole experience. We went for dinner last Wednesday the Hostess who greeted us was so nice! The view and food was amazing!! Our Server was very pleasant and even as we were leaving the Manager took time to wish a great night. We will definitely go again when we are in the area.
This place is a real contradiction. It overlooks Niagara Falls so the view is world class. Unfortunately, the food is barely edible. The steak sandwich was supposed to be medium rare and came well done and beyond, the fries and the fish came out really dark so the oil probably has not been changed for eons. The noodle bowl was completely void of flavour! Simply the worst I have ever had, even among non-asian restaurants where you have to adjust your expectations. It is hard to understand how any chef would be comfortable putting those plates in front of customers. The staff were friendly but they don't really seem to realize how to check on what is missing. The kicker is that there is no break on parking for the restaurant customers. We went in two cars, that is $56 before we even started dinner. View: 5 star Food: 0 star Service: 2 Star So for couple of hundred dollars, you can get for a fantastic view on a lovely patio!
A bit pricey, but very good food and service.
Only reason to come here is for the view. The food was okay, service was okay, bathrooms were disastrous. In a prime location to pull in tourists so there's not much incentive to step up their game. Decent meal but wouldn't visit again.
What a treat! Not only does this restaurant have a patio that overlooks the Horseshoe Falls but their selection of mixed drinks are delicious! Carl who was our server served myself and my 5 friends. He was very thorough and patient and a …
Great view and great food and our sever Samantha is just amazing!
Food was beyond delicious. Service was amazing! We'll definitely be back!
Thursday past, after having enjoyed a few days in beautiful Niagara, I decided to take my girlfriend to Victoria Park Restaurant for dinner. On a positive note the view of both the Canadian and American falls was incredible. The serving staff were very friendly and accommodating. We both ordered the trout dinner. The fish was just okay. The mashed potatoes were so salty to the point of being inetable and the vegetables were half cooked! Overall a very bland tasteless entree. The men's washroom was dirty with discarded debris on the floor and no washroom cleaning schedule posted. With a parking fee of $10.00 per hour and a bland meal, $100.00 plus, we had no interest in desert or coffee, rather chosing to pay our bill and leaving. Again, great view, good staff, but the rest was a total dissapointment!
The view is great if you're sitting outside. Food is below average and service is good. They really need to properly wipe down the tables and chairs as they're sticky. This place has so much potential but unfortunately poor kitchen and management is the reason why people go there only once.
Soup is good but salad is soso. Main course is acceptable . It close to the fall and have nice view
I would not say they have great food, but the view is impeccable. That is the only reason I go to this restaurant. After a long walk by the falls, you really would like to sit down to listen to the water splashing down the amazing scenery. The food is decently priced, as compared to the restaurants at Clifton Hill with no view, this place is superb. Food can improve but they kinda have leverage on us just by the view alone... Service was great as well.
Obviously the view is a huge bonus. The service was good, we only had desert and drinks which were both enjoyable. I highly recommend the strawberry daiquiri, one of the best I've had.
We went here on our first night there. The staff, the food and the atmosphere were unbeatable. They make a very fun, delicious summer berry salad and amazing chicken and steak plates. Great service, food and drinks here ! Highly recommend!
Our waitress provided wonderful and attentive service. We were celebrating my sons birthday and she made him feel extra special. The view was amazing. We were the first ones at opening and got one of the tables with better views. The food was okay.
Nice restaurant with good food and service with a patio overlooking the falls. Was a great way to end a day at the falls. Prices inline with neighboring restaurants and fair for a tourist hotspot.
Beautiful place. The restaurant is very good and having friendly services.
Great food. Great service. Fantastic view. Reasonable price. What more could you ask for?
A prominent building houses the Queen Victoria Place restaurant. It is up the stairs on the second floor. There is a parking lot with limited spaces. It is situated close to the main visitor centre, across the way from the Niagara Falls with magnificent views.
Beautiful views since this restaurant overlooks the falls if you are sitting on the patio! A 20 minute wait on a Monday night for dinner. Drinks were a bit watered down. Food was okay.... nothing to write home about. We had a caesar salad, fish tacos and the crispy chicken. Service was definitely slow but a great opportunity to people watch.
Nice view, that yet. One page menu. The food portions altough tasty, were very small and very expensive. l
Great waitress, food selection not as good as years before but food is very good and plentiful. View breath taking
Average quality, not much options on the menu. Decided to drop by for the view. I should’ve just order the drink
We wanted a snack to eat before doing the Journey Behind the Falls, but had only 45 minutes to spare. Our server accommodated this, and we had cheddar soup, cheese dip, coffee, and ice cream, and we made it before Journey closed for the day. She was polite and speedy, and made good conversation (Sarah I think was her name). Good ambiance.
Even with a great view it is not worth it. Do not order any food there. Horrible discusting some of the worst food
The fries were super dry we had to ask for a substitution of mashed potatoes instead.. the gnocchi was mediocre topped with really dry chicken. Food was under whelming but the view was beautiful.
We went there for brunch/lunch on a rainy Sunday. The view would have been stunning if they did not have to cover it with plastic (not their fault). The waitress were very polite and helpful. However, the whole place looks like a cheap restaurant/canteen: concrete floors, damaged tables. In addition, the prices were quite high for the food we got. Please don't order the fettuccini - just gross... Never going back there.
We had dinner here with high expectations but we were disappointed. Food was not tasty and service was not nice. The person who served us seemed unhappy with her job which reflected in her service. When we placed first order, she never informed us that the kitchen was going to be closed soon. She came after asking for final order, looked towards the kitchen and abruptly announced that the kitchen was actually closed now and no more orders are welcome. She did not even care to apologize. Anyway, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
If you are an immigrant just don't go there, the old lady(I’m guessing she was the owner) ruined my trip. She was extremely unfriendly and also anxious about covid stuff. When I went inside I lost my appetite. The only good aspect is the view, forget about the food ????
Great location, only had birthday drinks. Service was lacking, our server did not pay much attention to us. Took awhile to get our drinks and our bill. Great way to watch the evening summer fireworks. Visited again August 2021, better service as it was early afternoon. Ordered from the prix fixe menu, Caesar salad to start, trout filet and two different deserts. Two deserts was too much and I should have asked if we could skip it and not be charged. The trout was amazing!
We could enjoy the views from the restaurant but the food & drinks they served were almost like American style sugary junk food.
Paid a lot of money for a mediocre meal! Nice location overlooking the falls…. But it all goes downhill from there! I could tell Cesar salad was prepared a few days earlier…. Mashed potatoes salted beyond being edible. Our meals tasted like they had been microwaved a few times! Do yourself a favour and enjoy a meal elsewhere. Anywhere else!
Just your average touristic restaurant but not the best customer service. It took a pretty long while for our food to get when there wasn’t too many people at the place and there wasn’t a single water refill when our glasses were clearly empty for a solid 45 minutes when usually there’s someone who passes by to refill every like 3-5 minutes. It’s also a little pricy but there’s a nice view. Overall it’s a so-so place but the food isn’t too bad
Best location for a late dinner. Large outdoor covered eating area is perfect for a warm night and the live band was excellent. Seven of us dined between 8-10pm on a Tues and caught the fireworks with dessert. Food is very good with many Ontario sourced ingredients. Huge bonus this restaurant is owned by Niagara Parks Commission so the money you spend stays in Niagara. We will go back on our next trip to the Falls.
Amazing views from the patio, might be slightly less from inside. Able to get a walk in on a Saturday. Tables spaced appropriately. Patio is covered and heaters were on but don’t cover the entire area so a little chilly with the breeze when you are sitting so bring an extra layer depending on the weather. I thought a good selection of food and drink and enjoyed my dish.
We have lived in the Niagara area for many years and for the first time my husband and I visited Queen Victoria Place Restaurant. It really was a pleasant surprise. The view was spectacular. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was fabulous. I would rate it a ten out of ten. It really was worth the trip. We will go again.
Great place good service good prices. The view of Niagara Falls priceless!
