This is by far my favorite Japanese shop in the Niagara region! As someone who lives in the falls, I love coming by here to pick up something for lunch, or grab a drink or snack. They carry many products that I love that aren't available in normal grocery stores, such as the Ramune soda and authentic ingredients for Japanese food. The meals that they make for take-away are always fresh and delicious, and the staff are very friendly and more then happy to help you! The only downside is the weird hours of operation, but even then its still worth the visit!

Jean Bédard

Been looking for a good Japanese store and this is it. Going to kyo-Mart allows me to try snacks and drinks I see vloggers eat on YouTube and also allows me to cook some of the japanese recipes I've always wanted to make.

Nice little Japanese grocery store that is attached to Suisha Restaurant. It's the same owners, of course... the selection is limited, but there are certainly Japanese items that you can't find anywhere else in the area.

Ronald Laurie

The Mochi tastes wonderful. The small market has their important goods at a very well price (as you can see I hadn’t spent much as I would’ve at another mart.) The customer service was great as the cashier was nice and knew what was what. Also the place is ver sanitary and obviously care about what is going on around the world with the disease, so do not be afraid to enter as they take care of the market with providing wipes, gloves, and hand sanitizer. They have many sweets, frozen Japanese ingredients, non frozen Japanese ingredients (sauces, mixtures, etc.) It’s a bit small and in a odd area but they do give more than the essential Japanese Items, so do not underestimate. They also have a Japanese restaurant in the back incase you want Japanese food very convinient and smart. (They sell rice cookers (need to be pre ordered) and also Japanese Dishes.) I can’t wait to come back when I arrive in Niagara Again!!!! By the way, the Japanese chips weren’t like regular Doritos or anything and have their own taste, so worth trying. The coconut cookies and the bun was not too sweet but also not bland at all. The Mochi is the perfect amount of sugar. All put aside, I hope this market gets through covid and is still standing afterwards!

Amazing Japanese minimart to pick up Japanese food; snacks, noodles, rice, sushi making supplies (including implements), dry goods, frozen goods, and even some ready-made Japanese foods! Always friendly staff, easy street parking.

Adam Ganassini

Fantastic, incredibly friendly owner who is also very helpful and will explain the purpose and application of any product in the store. Family owned and run. Good selection of authentic Japanese goods that are super hard to find, with fairly reasonable prices.

Nicole Garden

Small little Japanese store with some harder to find odds and ends. They had yuzu kosho which is hard to find in most Asian grocery stores, and have a small selection of instant frozen Japanese products like takoyaki and some things that are more common to find like rice, curry flavoring and seaweed.

Mitch

No card payments.
