We love this place! Good selection of fresh meat, veggies and fruit at great prices. Did I mention fresh? It is unlike any other grocery store. The building is a real dive, but that's part of the thing. When we have friends in from out of town they get shown Lococos first, then the falls. Lococos wins almost everytime. You would only understand if you met our friends.

The best..you could spend 17 dollars on lean ground beef at Walmart for a package weighing the same at Lococo for 11 or less.Their meat is delicious,they have so many choices for fruits and vegetables,great customer service and a peaceful shopping experience.

Lococo's has been at the top of my list for meat & vegetables for years. Might not have every item that a giant supermarket has, but that's not their niche. They have a good selection and pretty good prices. On the down side I wish they'd put more effort into getting local Ontario produce.

Sold us stale dated meat, no answer on the phone, took days to call, and only argued that their process is fine. Never understood our issue correctly. Hung up on us. Do not recommend, and it is a known issue locally. Meat to go that dark overnight, that quickly? Issues with old meat? Proven by the meat managers insistence that selling at full price/no warning to eat asap: on the day before expiry for red meat is 'ok'. "Ok because it ages well"? That is dangerous behavior and wrong. Not the end of the world missing a date, but the response regarding the oversight is far worse.

Lococo's is the real deal. Great produce at great prices. However, don't ever order a vegetarian sandwich from the deli counter. It's essentially a bun with lettuce and they charge the exact same price as the meat sandwiches. Why?

Great place to shop for locals and tourists alike looking for fresh meats and produce. This place is a little hidden but the locals know exactly where it is , located directly in front of Great Wolf Lodge it is a convenient way of shopping for healthy snacks. They always have weekly specials to entice you, it is more of a Wholesale Depot style than your typical supermarket style grocery store. Clean environment and definitely worth checking out.

Lococos is a produce and butcher combination store. Although they cater to hotels and restaurants etc. they are open to the public. They do have some other grocery items but are not a grocery store. Watch for their flyer or catch them online for weekly sale items. We think they are awesome and shop there regularly.

Came to this store to get something for breakfast while visiting Niagara Falls. Lucky me to find the store. I was swept off my feet by quality of the produce, choices,friendliness of the staff. I never (!) got cucumbers as good as they sell in NYC. Seriously. I left with my cart full of bags. We had our breakfast in our room with fallsview, instead of waiting for something overfried and overpriced at local fast-food restaurant. Definitely worth 7 minute drive from hotels area. People of Niagara Falls, I am jealous of you having this store!

I was in shopping today and had an unsettling experience. I was checking out and carrying what I had purchased. As I approached the cashier I was asked, very abruptly, "where is your cart". I responded that I didn't need a cart as I could carry what I had purchased. I was told by the cashier that I had to have a cart. I asked if they wanted me to get a cart and start over with my shopping. I was then told that I was missing the point. I said I didn't understand and was told that I was messing up their head count. I said that nobody at the door had told me that I needed to have a cart. This was somehow, in their opinion, still my fault. Lol. I haven't been scolded like that since living at home 50 years ago. I understand that everyone is working hard on the front lines and likely very tired of a lot of the BS. Boss man, if you're reading this, I think you need to tell your folks to consider this. What if I was a healthcare worker, busting my tail 6 days a week on long shifts and Sunday was my only day to get all my stuff done, including groceries, and I came into your store to be scolded and treated in this manner. Just a little more consideration please.

I just spent 15 minutes, most likely more, trying to navigate the site to find 'Freeze Dried Strawberries'...and had a mental break down. I'm not understanding why I cannot search for something on the website? My only option is to look at 'Store Specials', that is it, that is all. I'm disabled and am unable to go to the store physically. Not being able to see everything in-store on the website is very inconvenient.

Lococo's is no fancy store by any means but they more than make up for that with their prices and friendly staff. We always find the best tasting produce here and the prices are fantastic. We easily save fifty dollars buying the same stuff here compared to a regular grocery store. I definitely recommend this place for your meat and produce as they do not carry all the "extra" stuff such as baking supplies, pharmacy goods, etc.

I am SO impressed with all the safety measures in place for the community, the carts are wiped down, before the checkout you wait 6-8 feet apart before they call you and the checkout is wiped off between each customer and it’s one come one go so the store isn’t bombarded and overcrowded...way to go Lococos

Great resource for the self catering vegetarian / vegan visitor. Found all the usual healthy grocery supplies here, impressed with all the fresh produce available and the excellent customer service provided. The freshly prepared whole pineapple was divine(perfectly ripe) and undoubtedly a highlight of my trip.

I can honestly say I did not like getting my meat from there. I thought I would try it out as all my friends say they are the best prices around for meat. I bought lean ground beef last week a family pack of course (5 to feed). I put it in the freezer so I could make my oldest favorite meal tonight for dinner. I took the lean ground beef out of the freezer and put it in the fridge to defrost. Well I came home at 4:00 and took out the meat to start cooking it and it was all brown and smells sour. I called and asked them to give me my money back as it was only a week old and immediately put in the freezer and should have lasted. Sadly it did not and now I am out the $18.11 for ground beef. They told me there was nothing they could do about it and were quite rude when I told them how it was defrosted and said well it doesn't go like that if it was in the fridge for a day. Well sorry to say it thanks for calling your customer a liar and saying it was my fault when in fact you should refund me as I followed all the instructions given to my by the meat guys when I asked how they would recommend defrosting it as I don't buy ground beef or any ground meat as a rule. If i could give a 0 I would.. I will never go here again and I will NEVER refer anyone here either. Do something about my complaint then maybe I would consider shopping there again but until then stay away from this place
