Good selection of food and are able to order in specialty items (they don't have all sizes of all clothing in stock) fairly quickly. I wish they stocked more brands of accessories, but a great local pet shop

Cute pet shop with a ton of indie pet food brands. My cat is super picky and has a poultry allergy. Lots of good alternatives. It’s often out of stock of certain things, most likely because its such a lil shop. I sometimes feel like I’m hounding them to stock up on some stuff. The staff are relatively nice i like this place way more than the big stores (Petsmart)

Great pet store in Royal Square Mall. They had a huge selection of raw food and kibble for dogs and cats. They also had a huge selection of treats. I was really happy to see a ton of local brands. They carry dried sardines from Earth Paws. They are a local company and the only company to remove sodium from the fish.

We love this store! They order our Canadian Naturals white fish for our dogs in special. Staff is always helpful and friendly. They've got everything we ever need for our two large breed dogs.

They are always so helpful here and have lots of great products. Many of the products are made in Canada and they always seem to have new treat options for our dog. Won't buy food anywhere else in the city, VanPet has the best price by far.

We brought our little chihuahua in to get fixed and boy I would say that I would bring an all my animals to get spayed and neutered there. The price was amazing! The care was extraordinary. The recovery was Great, so we know that they did a great job. Will definitely go again to this veterinarian's office.

Great Staff. VanPet is a big part of my dog's life. He loves the store and visits every day. The staff give him so much attention and always have time for him. They treat him like one of the family with love and treats. The store is extremely clean, well run and the staff are very professional. Because the staff are all pet owners, they are as equally knowledgeable as compassionate. They love animals so much, and do not want to see any pet tied outside or stuck in cars, they are willing to watch your pet for you while you shop. This is the only pet store we shop at. They have a huge selection and cater to pets who have dietary restrictions like my lil guy. You will love everyone working there because they are all genuine

I can't think of a better pet store that I have been to. The staff are super friendly and super knowledgeable about all the products they sell. The staff goes out of their way to spoil my dog rotten. They encourage pets be brought into the store if their owners need to run an errand. They don't want to see a furry companion tied up outside where a stranger could run off with it, and they also don't want them left in a very hot or very cold car. Van Pet here in New West is fantastic and I would and I have recommended their place of business to anyone who has a pet. Thank you for all you do and for all your kindnesses.

Lots of variety. Had a cat there living there - sick cat — too bad no staff took it at home at night — or weekends- was told cat lived there - pretty cruel to me. Cat has since passed away.

Huge selection for cats food that enterprise level pet store do not carry like Lotus, Canada Fresh etc. The price is fair but some brands are a little bit over price compare to other pet stores. Good pet resource if you live near by.

Great place to deal with ecept for today when i had a run in with the manager.Asked if they could get an item He brought it in without calling me and letting me know if they could and giving me a price.This happened twice.The manager is rude and needs a life lesson on how to deal with customers.
