When we moved to new west I mourned the loss of all the poke places we had access to in vancouver, however steve's poke bar in sapperton has totally fixed that. The bowls are *full* to the brim with super fresh fish, and have a ton of free toppings that are available. The app makes it incredibly easy to order and pick up on our way home, and I love that it gives you points!

I've been here twice, and both times I enjoyed the poke meal. There is a decent variety of the base, sauces, and poke. Would love to see more options for the vegetables, but all the standard poke options are there. Poke is fresh, tasty, and they give a decent portion (one heaping icecream scoop per serving). Staff are super friendly, helpful, and make you want to return.

Very pleasant customer service here. The corn and edamame beans were noticeably very fresh. Overall, the poke here was very good. The only thing for me is that I found the quality of the salmon mediocre here compared to some other poke places. I found it left a bit of a fishy aftertaste. Would be awesome if they offered wild salmon as a protein option.

I placed an order for this location through skip the dishes, but when I picked up my order both my custom bowls were made incorrectly. Several ingredients I had requested weren't included and some ingredients I didn't want we're added. If you're ordering online, don't use this location! I suppose if you're there in person overseeing your order you won't have this problem.

Ordered pick up using the online ordering page for a scheduled time. The Steve's Poke App let me know the status of my order and alerted when done. My dishes were ready to consume as soon as I got there! Got the Steve's Traditional and a Make Your Own Bowl--both are made according to my specifications. The poke is well dressed and flavourful while the rice is plump and slightly sticky like sushi rice. If only I had enough stomach space to eat it all. 10/10 will order here again.

It was our first time at the Brewery District location, there was good social distancing measures in place. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got a Build Your Own Bowl (BYOB) and the ingredient tasted pretty fresh. I liked that at Steve's Poke Bar, they offer a good variety of bases: rice, salad, quinoa and salad The ahi shoyu tuna was my favorite! Will be back to try the other scoops of poke!

Solid is how I would describe Steve's Poke Bar. Selection is limited compared to my favourite poke bar but everything they offer is reliably delicious. Great value as well as my orders are always packed to the brim. When I'm not too hungry I have enough for a decent lunch + dinner! Consistent quality & flavours between all locations that I've been to as well. I ordered delivery today and I loved the cartoons they draw on the lid. My order also came with a free Sharpie inside the bag haha

This is the only Poke joint i've had the pleasure of trying so far, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was the best Vancouver had to offer. The fish here wasn't quite as good as usual, (the Steve's poke bar in Lougheed mall is always better for some reason) but apart from that, I had an exceptional time. The staff were incredibly respectfull, polite, and accomodating.

My first time ever trying Poké and I decided to give Steve's a try today. I ordered for pickup and everything went smoothly. Hand-off was very quick and efficient. The store was super clean and well-lit. The food was excellent. I will definitely be eating Poké here again. Portion was decent for the price. Not feeling too full, but definitely not hungry anymore. Give Steve's a try. You won't be disappointed.

I'd heard so many good things about Poke from friends, and I loved sushi so they told me I'd like Poke too. I'd been meaning to check out Steve's Poke Bar since it opened months ago, cos I've always loved trying new food. Jimmy was great with helping explain it all, and I dove right in getting a mix n match (rice and quinoa and salad) base, had both the spicy mayo and the shoyu sauces, got the spicy scallops, the salmon, the gluten free tuna, and added lots of the included toppings. Washed it down with one of their zero calorie drink options, another first for me of that brand, and went home to absolutely devour every morsel in that bowl. It was some of the tastiest food I've had in a while. Everything was so fresh and flavourful! The spicy mayo was a little too spicy for me, so I'll likely either pass or just have a lot less of it in general, but it was still all so good!!! Definitely adding it to my regular rotation of take out food from now on. Also, they have a loyalty points system that very quickly gets you discounts. Just looking at the photo I took before the bowl was capped makes my mouth water; I can't wait to go get another bowl! Thanks Jimmy, see you again soon! ????????????

Steve’s Poke is truly the most authentic poke bowl you can get in the 604. I love how they offer samples before you pick your protein and do not do mix ins like the rest of the competition. They also don’t weigh their fish on a scale to make sure they’re giving you the right amount which is nice. I always feel like a business is being cheap when they do that. Fresh poké, there’s a daily special option if you ever want to try something different. They let you sample the poké before you decide which one you would like for your bowl. You’re also not limited to a certain number of toppings if you’re creating your own bowl, which I’ve run into at other poké shops. Bright and moderate sized location with lots of seating available! Food was good and the staff was friendly. Had half mixed greens and half quinoa as a base and it was pretty tasty. I only wish their scoop of salmon/tuna was a bit bigger. Especially compared to their photos.

Amazing customer service at the new west location. I got to meet the new franchise owner. We had a nice talk while I was deciding what I wanted to order. He explained to me that customer service is his number one priority besides the best quality product that he uses to make his Hawaiian Pokebowls. Great few minute talk with him. Michelle who made my poke bowl explained to me what the proteins are and how they are made. Such great information from this location. I will definitely be coming back with their amazing customer service and amazing quality bowls.
