Great food, both raw & cooked. Nice folks. We visit every time we're on the Island (@ least 1/yr.). Fair prices, quick service. Driftwood art/craft shop right around the corner - if you're waiting.

We were recommended to go by "Wally, Brenda's neighbor" to eat seriously fresh seafood dinners !! Fishermans platter is about $20. and it feeds 2 !! Scallops were buttery, the clams were just perfect with a white fish that was delish - a little greasy but hey, a few extra calories -it's well worth it !!! ???? Super friendly staff, giggling and laughing with everyone. Fast service.

drove by and didn't think much of it, ended up being the only place open on rainy sunday night - so we decided to give it a try. Was pleasantly surprised to have a very warm welcome. and then regretted not going before hand. Best food we had all visit. Worth every penny and make sure you get a gull nests to split!

I wanted fresh deep fried clams. When I watched the cook reach into the container of shucked clam meat I was impressed. Battered in front of me and cooked to perfection. My wife had the lobster roll and said it was stuffed heavily with meat. We both ate sitting outside on the picnic tables. Great sea side food as fresh as it comes.

Excellent lobster roll. I've been in the area for a couple of months and eaten a few lobster rolls, this was the best by far. So much lobster!!! Onion rings, aka gulls nest, also awesome, enough for two.

The fish and chips comes with a very small piece of fish, about half the size we normally get other places. Keep this in mind when deciding how many pieces you order. The clams are a huge portion though!

Great spot and one of the few on the island to buy fresh seafood. Live or cooked right on the spot as you order lobster. Also has a takeout if your looking for a deep fired food fix. Take note that this is a Cash Only place!

This is surprisingly the only sea food restaurant we could find on Grand Manan. I would not waste my money. The fisherman's platter which was $20 consisted of 1 piece of fish, 6 scallops and a handful of clam pieces (and a handful of fries). Everything was deep fried and the batter was all falling off. The scallops were tiny and rubbery, and the clams were mostly batter. The fish wasn't too bad, but its $13 for only 1 piece.

$18.99 + tax for a lobster roll that anyone can prepare. Ok amount of lobster meat but the roll is like 7-8” long. Whoever said this is the best lobster roll in NB needs to get out more or just grab a pack of lobster meat from Costco and make one at home!!! There’s nothing special about this roll AT ALL other than it’s overpriced. $13 for a fish and chips for 1 small piece of fish, an extra $4 for a second piece of fish. Size of fish is 1/2 compared to the Fish N Chips from any other restaurant. Quality of food is so so and even we didn’t care about the cole slaw as that’s some cheap veggie side dish, the sign “ Don’t ask for more cole slaw” is such a turn off. They should change the sign to “Just because you’re a tourist, we will rob you and overcharge everything!” Totally won’t recommend. Overpriced and Overrated.

Ordered the lobster roll and 2 pc fish and chips. Paid $40 for it all, and it’s pretty overpriced for the quality. They did put a good amount of lobster in the lobster roll but it’s just an ordinary lobster roll. A 1pc fish & chips was on the menu for $13 but a second piece of fish cost $4 extra?? Again, overpriced but also list all options on the menu. However, the fish was super moist & not too breaded. TLDR: Food’s good, but overpriced.

We've driven by a number of times on our trips to Grand Manan. We stopped in Saturday for dinner. We ordered the Fisherman's platter. OMG. It was delicious. The clams were huge, the scallops were sweet, with Halibut bites and fries. The batter was simple light and delicious. Everything is fresh. They battered the fish in from of me. A bowl of milk and a tub of flour. That's it. The seafood was Soo fresh we could taste the salt water. The seafood chowder is delicious and made fresh. I saw the cases of canned milk in the kitchen so I knew it would be amazing. It was! We went back on Sunday too!! You have to check it out. We will be back.

Never Go there and never order there. 1) we were waiting more then 30 minutes to be served 2) one served and arrived at home 2 minutes way , the meals are cold !!! how com ???!!! 2 minutes ??? so they are sometimes microwaving the orders of others or preparing them before the client come. So whatever the way they did it , I'mreally disapointed . after reading many coments i found that i'm not the first one saying that . We paid 50 $ for a lobster roll and Fish & ships 3pcs . I will never go back there and I will never recommand it. it's up to you.

What shall I say about sunrise seafood, I said. Say it was wonderful, Jack said. Say it was *supehr* food, Joe said. Nobody else in the vehicle offered an opinion, but I am the parent and I remember how they scarfed down the fish and chips, how Jack and I shared the clams and chips--and I've never had clams and chips that I actually liked, until today. I remember how the children took my cash and ordered another round of fish and chips. So, five stars. But folks, remember to take plenty of cash because they don't take cards and it will break your heart if you don't have cash for seconds.

On Tuesday July 13, 2021 at 4:30 pm I was charged $42.30 for two orders of 2 piece fish and chips and two cans of pop. We were very disappointed with our orders. The haddock was fresh with a light coating on them. The two pieces in each order were very small. Each piece was approx 6cm wide and 10cm long the fish was cooked perfect. The fries were not completely cooked we could not eat them. I will not eat at this location again very disappointing. 2 piece fish and chips was $16.99 plus tax each. The piece was high compared to two other locations we found after our meal on the island. The gentleman who served us was not pleasant and did not make you feel welcome.
