Great place to get a cooked or live lobster. I'm giving it a 3 star because they don't crack your lobster for you. If you are a tourist and don't have a cracker, you are SOL. I would visit this place again if I'm in the area.

Change my 5 stars for a 2 stars.. We have always had a good experience with your products until yesterday.. We bought a 1.5 pound lobster.. Back home, we took the lobster out of the bag and there was this bad smell and it didn't taste fresh... Definitely not a fresh lobster! Paid 20$ for a non fresh lobster... :( Really disapointed!

A great place to pick up fresh and frozen lobster when you're in the area. Reasonable market prices for great quality food. Lineups on a Thursday afternoon before a long weekend were crazy but the staff handle it fantastically.

Didn't like the fact that you couldn't pick out your own lobster before purchasing. Especially when you know what to look for. It's a seafood plant as well I think so it's not like there is any novelty in their handling of the stuff. I am not sure but I think they are using sea water to cook the lobster. Which is the better way to do it.

You can't see the lobster, it's stored in the back and they bring you random pieces. I got the impression that the counter staff keeps the best pieces for people they know. The client who was served immediately after me got much bigger market pieces; they seemed like regulars. It did not feel right to me.

Amazing how expensive lobster is in Canada, a lobster dinner in Florida is half the price of a restaurant in the Maritimes.The Lobster Shop is quite reasonable by comparison. You can buy lobster shell cracking kits at the dollar stores in Shediac on Main street, Canadian Dollar and Dollarama

Really bad service over the phone. I wanted to go in and pay for lobster pick it up later, or when they explained they could not do that, I said ok, I will place a order from between $125-$140 to pick up in a couple of days for a family get together. She said no…they don’t take orders. I offered if the price changed I would pay the difference. So I said …..look I wanted to do business with you but your making it impossible. She then said no one would take a order……well news flash another lobster establishment did…so they got the business…not only did they get the business ….but I will tell this to everyone who wants fresh lobster. You should pay more attention to the people representing your business over the phone….they were not one bit helpful. We are still classified as customers and should still deserve to be respected and receive good service….thank you.
