This place is awesome. Great comfortable environment to browse and buy. Staff are super knowledgeable, great selection of fish, shrimp, etc for your aquarium, plants as well. And there prices are cheapest in town. And there fish are super healthy. I am definitely a return customer. Please go check it out you won’t be disappointed I promise.

I got some plants, and some different danios from here. Chad is really nice and informative. The fish that I got are super healthy and love their new home. The plants have already started growing also. This store doesn't have alot of stock yet, but is definitely going to do their best to get you what you need. Definitely recommend.

Bought some fish, first few died within 24 hours, all dead within 5 days. Owner was not willing to replace. Was not an acclimation issue either as I am an experienced keeper. Very hard to find store too.

Hands down the best fish store in Nanaimo/mid island for quality livestock and plants. Chad does an amazing job caring for his fish, all of his tanks are clean and the fish are healthy. He's very knowledgeable and won't sell fish to someone without making sure they are prepared for the responsibility they're undertaking. I put in a special order with him and he was more than happy to comply. Even better, I found out almost all of his fish are bred in Canada! That's better than any other store I've heard of locally. He hasn't been open for that long so his store is somewhat small. I will admit he doesn't have a huge selection, but according to him, it's something he's working on increasing without sacrificing quality for quantity. He does have plants I've never seen anywhere else before (even online). Fair warning, his store looks like you're gonna have your organs stolen from the outside! Don't be afraid of that though, the little open sign in the window is legit LOL

This is the new cool aquarium shop in town. This guy knows all the fish and is glad to help you learn about them. Really great selection for a small shop and real passion from the owner about the hobby! Definately worth a visit!

Best fish store in town!!! Always so helpful and friendly, and carries awesome selection. If you're into betta fish , you definitely need to see what they have in store! Plus the best selection for shrimp in Nanaimo. Pictured is one of my apistogrammas I got from Chad!
