Worst service ever. Came from Regina to have their food because their food tastes good. But the service is worst their is one server who serves the food and take the orders as well as she done some back kitchen work too. It’s take 30-35 minutes to take the order then around 30-40 minutes later the food has been arrived. It’s really disappointed. That they run the restaurant with one server... it’s looks like a jock... Never visit the restaurant again. Thanks for your service.

I order from here regularly so thought I should finally review. My favourite restaurant in Moose Jaw, hands down. Best naan bread I've had and haven't been disappointed by anything that I've tried. Personal fave is the mango fish curry.

DELICIOUS! Worth every penny, tried an indian place in saskatoon that had pretty tough chicken pieces and because of that i had a hard time picking curry again but i'm glad i went with spice hut's lamb curry! So tender, just fell apart and was full of flavor accompanied by an amazing naan and bowl of rice. One of my favorite meals out in a long time! I'll be back! THANK YOU!

I really enjoy going to spice hut for the butter chicken and naan bread. The place is very clean and inviting. Service is generally pretty good. The only bad things I have experienced is they don't give enough napkins, maybe one per person, and they didn't give me any cutlery. I understand that traditionally Indian food is eaten with your hands with the naan bread... but I am Caucasian and I like to use a fork lol. Overall it is a very good place to eat and I recommend eating here.

Great food. You can have it as mild or as hot as you like. Food is flavorful and portions are on the large side. The menu has a variety of choices including lots of meat choices to vegetarian fair as well. The facility was very clean and service was attentive and kind. I say kind as there seems to be a desire to please and share the Indian culture. I suspect our server was family. Nevertheless we felt welcome and appreciated. If it's your first time with Indian food don't hesitate as I'm sure they will be happy to guide you in choices to start your journey in tasting India. Recently opened. It is great to say the least. The food tastes great. It's spicy and hot, the way it should be. Of course you can them reduce the hotness and spiciness but then what's the point. The environment is good too. Its Large and spacious. They know how to serve! I will return. RECOMMENDED!

Very nice spot for Indian food! Decent selection of curry types with a variety of options. Nothing too out there (pretty standard array of kormas, marsalas, vindaloo, etc), but it is all very good and in generous portions. They let you select how spicy you want it, and my table ended up getting the whole range- mild butter chicken for my wife and our 11 month old, nicely hot chicken korma for a family friend, and hottest-they-could-muster lamb vindaloo for me. Everything got rave reviews. Nice papadums and naan too (we opted for the garlic naan as we're not purists, lol). Server was friendly, attentive and helpful. Prices were reasonable. Seems like you can't go wrong with a trip to the Spice Hut!

First off - The couple of negative comments look like competition. So buy into those reviews. We are from Calgary and passing through we stayed the night in MJ and at 9:30pm we swung into Spice Hut. We were super happy we did! Everything was spot on. I got spicy BC and it was perfect! My wife got the Shrimp Biryani, really really good. Naan was made in house. Chicken was based in tandoori spices. Next time we pass through we will be back! Bathrooms were spotless and super clean. Restraunt was very clean. Excellent service. I popped my head into the kitchen- Spotless. Thank you again!

Is excellent tasting indian food. The naan wasn't the best I've ever had, but overall the meal had good flavour. I ordered thru skip the dishes and I don't know if it was at that end it at the restaurant end, but it took a LONG time, almost an hour, before it was delivered

Get the butter chicken and tandoori prawns make sure to add some garlic naan to take it next level. Always fresh and delicious and big plates you can share just one dish with rice and naan to make it an affordable meal out for two.

It's acceptable but difficult to enjoy when someone is beating a carpet with a broom next to you while eating. The roti isn't included with meals and makes the experience odd, for an asian joint.

We loved this restaurant! The atmosphere of the place is warm and inviting and we felt so welcome there. My wife is Indo-Caribbean and this food made her feel like home again. The spicyest version was actually very spicy! We were very pleasantly surprised. My kids loved the food so much and were sad when it was all finished. 10 out of 10 would eat there every time we visit Moose Jaw. If you like good food, you have to eat here.

Wouldn't reccomend their take out, order came quickly but it was old premade food and the spice content was not even close to what we specified, also the portions are much smaller than what you get when dining in. Just because their doors aren't open to the public doesn't mean they don't need to make the food fresh to order.

Love great Indian food and this place is fantastic. My wife (gujurati) and I live in Dallas and this place was on par or better than anything we've had there. We brought family new to Indian food and ordered a wide variety (lamb vindaloo, tandoori chicken, lamb biryani, mutter paneer, garlic naan, etc) and it was all very fresh and delicious with the perfect amount of spice (ranging from mild/medium to "double hot"). The food does take time, but this isn't McDonald's. It comes out fresh and piping hot. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great Indian food!

Went there last Sunday, Jan. 02, 2022 to dine with my wife.The reason of going there was, I was craving for Bhiryani. The place is so nice and cozy. Ordered Lamb Bhiryani while my wife got her Chicken Bhiryani. Carving satisfied. It was one of the best Bhiryanis I had. Plus factor the friendly Shivani who served us. Definitely will comeback for their chicken or lamb curry next time. Cheers spice hut resto. Love your place.

The flavors were beyond incredible. The chicken masala is perfect for people who are new to Indian cuisine. My recommendation is to get medium heat for it if you aren't accustomed to spice. But if you are then the medium to hot is perfect! I would love to see some thali dishes on the menu. Thank you for the wonderful culinary experience, my taste buds are very happy.

As good as or better than any Indian food I’ve had. Chicken vindaloo was tender and nicely spiced, aloo gobi fragrant, and they were not swimming in sauce like some restaurants. Generous portions. But the naan was superb - soft and crispy, fresh from the tandoor oven. We’d definitely go back!

This is my first rating ever in last 20 years in Canada, I am writing now because the service was very bad. Worst service, smelly place. We ordered food more than 53 minutes ago, and including us, there were only four tables with customers. We were in Moose Jaw for few days, but I dont think we will come here again to wait for an hour (after ordering food) to be served. Very bad service. One of the server said it will take another 15-20 min. This is terrible. Our order was simple. We also saw three big take out sent before serving dine-in customers. Horrible service. Moreover they dont even know that customer with children should not be seated near the bar (alcohol), it was on our suggestions we were placed ideally. I will update about the food shortly. Ok food was served at 635 pm (after waiting for 70 minutes). Food was good, but not worth waiting that long. Server simply left all dishes piled up on dining plates, and ran away saying they are busy. We also ordered something to take home with our initial order. Now we are waiting again. You know what I got out of this experience, just because I have the same ethnicity as the restaurant people, we were asked to seat away from caucasians... seriously!
