Worth the drive from Niagara to here!! Finally an honest market who takes pride in their products and asks you how your preparing your seafood. Highly recommend coming here if your a seafood lover and you only want the best Good quality fish and seafood! Both in fresh and frozen. You know it’s fresh when you call them and they tell you the days the shipments comes in. Which is daily. Fresh halibut and fresh scallops with king crab legs was chosen on my arrival into the market. By far the best I’ve ever had and cooking for 5 ladies in an intimate setting is always a pleaser. I’ll be back if not weekly to get my seafood fix. Thank you to the gentleman that served me.. knowledgeable, super pleasant and you can tell he’s smiling under that mask. ☺️

If I could give these guys 6 stars I would The minute I walked in I felt very welcome and was helped by the employees They follow covid protocols and even have a limit of 3 people in the store at once. The store is pretty small. Can't comment on the fish, but it seems fresh and the prices are reflective of that.. the prices seem quite expensive. When compared to some frozen lobster and frozen shrimp I found it to be more expensive.

If your looking for the best, this is where you must shop. I regularly have the tuna which in my opinion is the best in the city. The wide selection of beautiful fish consumes some extra time in deciding what to select! Another personal favourite is the diver scallops ( lots claim to have diver few deliver like these ones). Can't say enough good things about this place, if your not sure just ask the friendly and knowledgeable staff... they will leave you coming back for more and more and more!!!

I was looking for sushi grade salmon to make a salmon crudo dish and this shop was the closest one to me. I've never served raw fish before so I was a little worried, but this salmon was absolutely delicious. We spoke to a couple of the employees and everyone was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We also bought some salmon burgers and were surprised when one of the guys brought over another pack of burgers and added it to our bag, on the house. They're a local business and the shop is small but they have a very nice variety of seafood and great customer service, I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for my seafood from now on.

Believe me the best seafood you are going to find in Toronto!! Angelo and the Waterfront Seafood team are fanatical about serving up the best and freshest seafood to be had. Nobody touches Angelo when it comes to his knowledge of fresh fish and how to prepare it in mouthwatering style. As a person who does a lot of home cooking I can tell you that when ever I am close to Waterfront Seafood I just have to drop in and pick up some amazing fresh ingredients! What a great place! Stumbled upon this place today and had an amazing experience thanks to the owner Angelo. He was very personable and informative. He taught my husband and I how to shuck an oyster properly. It's the little things that make a place great. Not to mention the quality of the oysters we bought was 10/10 and the king crab was amazingly juicy and extrememly tasty. Will be back and would reccommend to anyone.

This review is long overdue. I have been coming to Waterfront Seafood Market for years. This is THE BEST place in the GTA to buy fish and seafood. Angelo and his team are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the location is very clean. I love just about everything there, but their Salmon, Halibut and Seabass are my faves. The homemade crab cakes and aioli are delicious. Keep up the great work!

The freshest and best you can get. Like trust me it's as fresh as I recall from back home with all the freshness from the Mediterranean. THAT good! Worth the price, worth the drive. I was craving some Porgy but staff there recommended sea bream as they didn't have it and honestly I couldn't have told the difference. Great replacement and was so fresh and finger licking good. Scallops were insanely fresh as well. Very friendly staff and they scaled my fish too!

Best fish monger in Mississauga. You can get fresh or frozen, small shop but full of great finds. The team is friendly and location is clean! I picked up some mussels and squid. I buy today one piece of Salmon and 6 scallops. Pay around 75$. I pay 35$ for salmon and 35$ for scallop . When I came back home and start making dinner. I start preparing scallops I notice they smell really bad. I believe scallops was not fresh. Paying premium price and not having fresh product? I'm really disappointed specially when I was buying there salmon. I'm not recommending. On your own defense all your concern is about my reviews? Scallop was not fresh and stinks all my house. Is the last time I buying from you store! Even after 2 days my kitchen stinks!! The owner answer was no way impossible, instead of answering please bring it back. That already proof of my point! I was regular customer to, but not anymore.

My girlfriend and I were in the mood for some poke and found Waterfront Seafood Market via a Google search of places with sushi grade fish. Not only did we find what we were looking for, we also left with some smoked salmon and pickerel (thank you!!!!!!). The salmon in the poke bowls was incredible. The smoked salmon made an awesome addition to our charcuterie board. The pickerel ended up being my girlfriends new favourite fish! We went back today and got some scallops and some more pickerel. Both were amazing, as expected. Needless to say, this is the best seafood market I have been to. From the staff to the products, everything is top quality. Visit Waterfront. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place for all types of fresh seafood, Staff is friendly and the Owner is a pleasure to deal with. My wife purchased the crab cakes last Sunday and unfortunately they were absolutely awful and at $18.00 for 2 is was very disappointing. We ended up throwing them out after cooking. I don't like leaving reviews like this but when you are selling a premium product I did expect much better. The sushi grade salmon and tuna she purchased was fantastic though.

Hands down the most fresh seafood you can buy. Their selection is superb and service outstanding. All employees will go out of their way to get you what you need. I have called and asked to have every piece of fish separately vacuum sealed, they do it without a problem. Their prices are fair, service outstanding, and fish beyond fresh. I never buy seafood elsewhere. Do not hesitate to go!!!

Bought 3 lbs of fresh halibut...by next morning my halibut was 2.5 lbs after the the water leaked out (it was partly frozen). At $30lb...nice profit for them for selling water logged fish. Would not recommend this place. I bought fish St Lawrence market all the time...never has this happened to me.

The absolute best place to buy fish in all of the GTA! The blue fin tuna belly and loin they have is unreal! the marbling is nuts and it literally melts like butter in your mouth! I wouldn't get my sushi grade fish anywhere else!

This review is a little late but better late then never. I live out in Bolton and we needed to find a premium fish market as my wife and I prefer higher grade fish. I have never had a bad experience with Waterfront. Sushi grade salmon and tuna is excpetional, we have made sushi rolls, poke bowls, and salads with tataki. Every time the fish has been great. In the summer they always gave a massive amount of ice so the fish would stay cold by the time I did my regular groceries, and head back to Bolton. I am wondering if they have organic fish as I have never asked for it but will check it out tomorrow. Thanks guys for having a great store.

I've been here a few times, the most friendly staff! Came in today to buy some red snapper for my birthday dinner tonight, but unfortunately there was none in stock. I decided to treat myself to some Chilean Sea Bass instead (why not right). At the cash I was surprised with some maple smoked salmon and some smoked salmon cakes on the house! I buy my sushi grade salmon here and have been recently purchasing all my seafood, as the quality is unmatched. Hands down the BEST place to buy some fresh fish and seafood. Prices are comparable to the market, but the customer service is our of this world!

Freshest seafood we’ve ever purchased in GTA! I’ve made it a habit of doing a weekly Friday Seafood run for shrimp, squid, salmon and mussels! And a couple of weeks ago I tried the sushi grade salmon and Matthew was kind enough to show me how to cut it into proper sashimi pieces! Did I mention that they have the friendliest service I’ve ever experienced! If you’re looking for the best seafood then you have to come here!

Angelo had us try the new salmon sliders that came with an excellent sauce. On a toasted brioche bun, the sliders were amazingly delicious. Great flavour of salmon complemented by the seasonings and the sauce. Hoping these become a regular feature. Enjoying fresh swordfish as well. I’ve Been going here for the last 3 months and I wouldn’t go absolutely anywhere else! The fish is impeccably fresh and the highest grade. Constantly come here for the salmon and tuna as It’s so hard to find sushi grade quality. The owner Angelo is always super friendly with great suggestions and dinner ideas. If you’re looking for fresh and wild seafood look nowhere else!

Keep your expectations low. This hardly looks like a $29.00 lobster to me (not sure what you charge per lb. given it was a "phone in" order for New Years) and when someone calls in an order and asks for "fresh" and you give them "frozen" - then charge "premium", you might not be expecting repeat customers... spending $380 at your shop had me "expecting more" - Happy New Years Gouge?

This is a great place for fresh, quality seafood. The sign claiming their fish is sashimi grade is no exaggeration; this is my go to place if I'm going to make ceviche.

Just had a dozen of their raspberry point oysters and they were absolutely delicious and so fresh. Their selection of lobster and fish fillets looks great too. The staff were friendly so I will definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place, if quality is what you want than this is your destination. If you are in the Mississauga area definitely make the trip, I lived in British Columbia for a long time and used to catch my own crab and still doesn't compare to the Alaskan king crab they have, really enjoy cooking so scallops and lobster is my go to here also the smoked salmon is great.

VERY RUDE GUY! Acted like a total jerk. He hung up on me. I called to enquire about 100 piece shuckling size oysters. He told me I'll get a deal for this quantity. I said how much. He said $1.50ea. I said i can buy 1pc for $1.29 from metro. He got upset and hung up the phone! No doubt this place is a ripoff seafood place with high markups. He won't get new customers like this. Typical "tough guy" attitude.....my way or the highway type...

You can always expect the freshest and best quality seafood. VERY clean and hands down the best service you will ever experience. Even though I live in Kitchener now I still drive down there to buy my fish enough said. All of their offerings that I tried were sublime. They even fillet, vaccum pack and freeze the fish for me so I can buy large amounts at a time and put it in my freezer.
