Nice Marine ocean fish....lot of unique choices..price are fair...too bad they use blue lighting for the tank which seems not as clear n sharp to look at the fish compare with other places .but the fish they have are good fish..but a bit disappointed they don't carry anymore fresh water fish ..before they also have good quality fresh water fish as well.

Good place to buy Marine fish and a wide selection on corals. I go here most of the time and the staff and owner are very accomodating and easy to talk to. If there is anything to imrpove on, maybe the overall presentation of the store as it needs a bit of work. Other than that, the fish I got here are healthy.

Old location on Dundas was so much better. The staff are the only bright spot for this place. Friendly and always ready to help. Stock leaves something to be desired.

Enter from the mall because the front door is anything but welcoming. It's jammed hard, I thought it was locked at first. The door screams at you when you open it. They are converting to salt water only so it should be better when they're done.

A lot of bare tanks for freshwater or large display tanks dedicated to.... guppies, mollies and platys. The selection was pretty bad the two times I went and there wasn't much going on. There used to be lots of selection from apistos, rasboras, cardinals and angels and now they're just filling tanks up with cheap livebearers. Prices were fair before as well. 75% of my fish are from Aquatic Kingdom but the selection has been pretty bad lately. Jim no longer works here, i wonder if that coincides with why the place seems less personable and why the standards have dropped. Hope the store bounces back

The tall woman i think her name is spelt Awin is a gem, best to deal with and will give deals if you buy alot of stuff at once. dealing with them over the phone is a waste of time and the store has gone down hill year after year since they left the large solo location. ive been keeping reefs for over 10 years and will still go to this store for items. Daniel the owner used to be very nice all the time, recently tho...... must be all the stress from moving the store every 2 years

Great place for rare or common fish. Obviously stock will depend on how recent shipments have been received at the time of your visit but I've always found something interesting in my visits be it fish, corals or inverts. Fair pricing and great customer service.

Good selection but i couldn't help but feel sad and disturbed as i walked through.. so many over-stocked tanks, large fish in tiny tanks so they can't even move... if that issue was rectified I'd give 5 stars but the discomfort in seeing those tanks over shadowed everything else for me. An aquarium store should be educating on the proper care for the animals they are supplying and should be doing so first and foremost by setting the proper example.

I bought 2 shrimp from this place - when I got back home, I realized that they had tied one of the shrimp's feelers in the rubber band of the bag holding them, and they had fallen off. I gave them a call to tell them what had happened, and they said it was normal for the shrimp to shed their feelers (even though they were the cause of the feelers falling off), and that the shrimp will be fine. However, the shrimp died the next day. Please stop the lies, own up to your mistakes going forward, and not try to rip off your customers this way.

Rarely bring in new shipments for freshwater fishes. I see the same fishes for 6 months or more. Place used to be good at the old location and old staff...now it just seems like they dont care. How they still dont have any social media to connect and advertise with customers is baffling.

I have no idea what is going on but Im guessing its not good. The place used to be great. Now it is filthy marine tanks full of green water with a few fish if any in each . There is no display tanks, nothing on the shelves and always a dead fish or two. He needs to take away at least half the tanks and go back to quality vs quantity . I used to buy my fish and equipment there all the time but now I go in and simply leave empty handed . Last 3 times I have been the only person in the store. Middle of Feb and he has summer hours taped to door..

My family and I set up our first aquarium, a 46 gal cichlid tank, before settling on this store we pretty much went in to and spoke with many other shops, what brought me back to this place was Jim's obvious enthusiasm for fish and his unbelievable amount of knowledge, not to mention his absolute willingness to share it all. He pretty much guided me through every stage of setup and helped us pick compatible fish, with full explanations of what and why. They never over tried to sell us anything, and their prices were fare and reasonable. Great store, great selection, and most of all great people. It's hard to find costumer service like this anymore. Thank you!!!

UGGGGHHHH.... Store was messy and dirty. Fish had no labels or prices. No dry goods. Worst of all was the owner. Rude and seem like he didn't want to sell fish. Im not very knowledgeable on salt water fish, But when asking him questions and having some chitchat. He made it his mission to talk down and belittle my fish keeping knowledge. Don't waste time here. Go to Discount Dragon Aquarium in the same plaza.

Refuse to deal here since they were caught smuggling in coral that was covered under CITES. Fined $25000.00 by Environment Canada. No wonder the place looks like a mess.

Great setup and location. Loved the variety of livestock available. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable . I find they are very competitive on the pricing of the foods and plant fertilizer products compared to other Big name stores close by. A++

Contrary to some recent posts I found this place quite nice. I make a point to visit any fish store I see even in passing. It's a tough market and this place does very good. First off, they're one of the few places other then big Al's that carry a large supply of saltwater animals. Most places are 80% freshwater and this store was at least 50/50. As for the saltwater tanks. Some were empty but none were over stocked. The tanks were large and not divided into miniature cells. There was no algea issues. I didn't notice dead fish, and didn't see anything dealing with ich or injuries. He had a large variety of corals all kinds and the sps were not bleached which was nice. The prices were great. Easily 35% less then big stores and he had a 25% sale that day I got cleaner shrimp for $21! Those are key things for me in the saltwater hobby. I purchased a fish and it is doing well so far and I would return to this place. Great work in a tough hobby.

i like this store very much i rather give them my money over big als any day. Supper friendly staff and if theirs ever an issue they do their very best to solve the problem. From time to time they have buy 2 get one free on corals. great place to get frags to fill your tank. A+
