Great selection of various types of plants, great seasonal stuff, plenty of gardening supplies, plus a petting zoo, butterfly house (which is quite spectacular!), and a windmill! Also, a loud and obnoxious tropical bird that will scare the pants off you haha! And the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I gave four stars because the staff were pleasant, respectful and polite. I did find some of the plants too expensive, but I found a brand of fertilizer for my garden and house plants that I can't find in Ontario. I am happy to see how it works

Today I am giving Windmill two stars. The place is great for selection and things to do with your family. Two stars today because of the staff not listening to the customer, interrupting the customer as they ask a question, not talking directly to the customer but always looking away and lots of staff today with no experience to answer basic questions. The inexperienced staff would pawn you off to another staff member with just as little experience. When asked for a business card for the manager, the staff member looked stunned and didn’t know what to do. Such a shame for such a good place. Edit: Just finished at Home Depot. The staff listened to my question and took the time to look at a picture, immediately knew what was wrong.

Awesome little stop in Medicine Hat The butterfly’s were amazing and felt like we were walking in a whole new world. The flowers were near the end of season but looks like they would have a huge variety. Lots to look at. Highly recommend

My local greenhouse. The staff here are basically all Lois Hole. Their knowledge about plants is second to none. My son loves to come here for the animals and birds. It's a ritual to walk over, check out the animals, and pick up some locally grown veggies. My garden and beds are full of their product and it's of the highest quality. Lastly, the butterfly house is truly a sanctuary. Great job!

Love this place. Huge selection, great prices, helpful staff. I like the sections they have (perennial, annuals, shade, etc) which makes easier to find plants. Really love that I spent less on lavender plants than anywhere else.

Selling the tree to customer but if you looking for warranty may it never happen . I bought my tree last year. After winter gone my tree now dying, I phone to the store they said if my tree bought when it was on sale that mean no warranty. That sound not right for me cause I only get warranty if I pay full price. Not looking to be your customer again

We always love our visits here. There’s a free petting zoo and a beautiful butterfly garden that has more than just butterflies. Turtles and button quail and parrots and coi. There are bigger parrots in a corner and rows upon rows of beautiful plants. They have one of the best selection of roses I’ve seen in Alberta and many beautiful places to sit and nurse. Plus ice cream and coffee and a bathroom if you need. Thank you!

The ladies were a fantastic help with advice and tips on planting the perennials in my flower beds. Only downside was not many of the flowers were actually blooming and some didn't have pictures so I wasn't certain on how they would look.

I love to visit the Windmill to see what is new. The place is clean and the merchandise is healthy. My only complaint is that its a bit on the expensive side. The ladies who are there to answer questions make up for that. They know their business and they will steer you in the right direction. Lower the prices a bit more and I would willingly spend more!

What a gem to visit! On a road trip and needing a stop to let the kids move a bit. An ice cream,petting zoo, pretty flowers and the most beautiful oasis with butterflies, caterpillars, birds and mini quails. We for sure will be coming back!
