Customer service needs to be better here. I attended store on BOGO fish Friday. There were 3 employees in the store and only 1 overworked employee in the fishroom. I'm wondering if this is a ploy so they sell less fish on BOGO Fridays... The sore is great, animals well kept and beautiful fish...workers need to be more engaged...I run a company with 70 plus employees and not one would have a problem helping the other people on my team. If the employees were actually engaged and wanted to be here, they may provide better customer service. I was there to stock 120Gal aquarium but I will for sure take my business elsewhere. Too bad as well, as I have waited for this Friday for 2 weeks to stock my tank, but guess I will just go elsewhere as I cannot spend my money at a company that dies not want me business. I hope management reads this, because it's a complete sin to have a beautiful store like this and to be ran without customer service not being paramount.

The ladies a great, however, the older male associate (manager I think), is in need of education how to speak to women and customers in general. I needed dog food ordered in and the ladies were happy to do it, the older man /associate then proceeded to "I don't see you on your knees...". Right infront of two other female associates! Never have I ever been treated like this by anyone personally or professionally by anyone! I will not be entering the medicine hat store until that representative is no longer there. I feel so sorry for other customers and their staff that have to put up with his sexist and belligerent comments to people.

Wonderful pet store! It's locally owned and operated and the employees actually care and they literally, truly want to help you. Yes, shocking I know but speak the truth. Employees here are knowledgeable in all departments but they each have their own areas of specialty/expertise. If for some reason they are unable to help you, they will try to find another solution for you. I don't think I've ever walked out of that store disappointed.

Placed on order for curbside pickup 24 hours before I wanted to pick up my item. I arrived at my pickup time ,called the store according to the procedure, and was your the guy that takes care of online orders was on break and they would call me back when my order was ready. What is the point of curbside pickup, if I have to sit and wait..... not a very Happy customer. This is why I don't shop at Petland !

They said my three legged cocker spaniel was incapable of getting groomed because she couldn’t stand the duration of the groom( which Has never been an issue before ) added all of the other dogs in the salon were sitting. I asked if they could give her a bath and blow dry and they refuse the service as well. So I will be using a different salon because they won’t accept a dog that isn’t a “standard” groom. No exceptions for “special need” pups. Added I have taken here here before and previous groomer didn’t have any problems!
