During my sojourn in Medicine Hat, I came by here to check out their selection of games and gaming accessories. It was an alright experience - nice selection and friendly enough service. Not much else to say.

About a year ago - definitely before Covid, I was in the store. It started off pleasant enough. Most employees were nice. Unfortunately, it ended with me getting no assistance and one male employee made an insult towards my transitioning son. Rude. Disgraceful is what I call the 1 employee. Kind, knowledgeable is what I call the other employees I meet.

Best place to go in town for used merchandise , huge selection of retro video games and accessories, they have a lot of new stuff aswell. Very friendly staff and helpful every time I've been in. Biggest record collection ive ever seen. Good selection of stereo equipment and guitars. Always find it hard not to stop in and have a look

Drive over a 1 hour to trade some items to be told sorry we don't buy said items not even an offer was given. How can a place be called King of Trades if you don't even get an offer? Huge waste of time and never will be back, and to think I was going to spend my hard earned money on some ear rings.

i made a purchase from dave and it was a very easy transaction. he was friendly and patient and i recieved the item exactly as described and even got it delivered earlier than expected to ontario. i’ve never met the man personally but wouldn’t hesitate to order from his business, king of trade in medicine hat, again. also he even helped me out on shipping which he didnt have to do.

Amazing service!!!! Contacted them through Facebook and they even went and found accessories and options for me!! Fast, friendly and super efficient!! Had my camera and accessories and was able to pick up right away(even through Covid-19 and everything was cleaned and safe)!! Will absolutely be back soon!!

Great place for a bargain. King of Trade has a good wide selection of goods on offer. Everything from jewellery to tools to dvds and musical instruments. As well as a good antiques section. Good to pop in for a browse if you have ten minutes to waste, who knows, you may find a bargain or that item you've been hunting for for weeks!

I purchased on line a necklace that I saw posted on their site. Package arrived today ( 3 days from time of purchase to my door ) I would say excellent service! Packing was perfect including tracking number sent via email to me. Item is beyond what I had hoped it would be. Purchase was fast and easy. Communication awesome. I will be buying from this shop many times in the future I am sure. Great customer service, excellent pricing and fast service to the door. The owner used to be a customer of mine and expected to be treated like a “King”; staff clinging to his every need. But when the roles were reversed and I visited his store while he was on shift, no courtesy, no professionalism, no people skills and definitely no service. Seemed like he was struggling to carry a conversation or couldn’t be bothered to try. There are far better second hand shops in town, definitely worth the boycott
