This store was amazing. As a freshwater hobbyist I am fascinated by all the colorful fish and corals of the saltwater world. This store had every saltwater fish I could imagine, from "Nemo"(Ocellaris Clownfish) to a Moray eel! To my pleasant surprise this store also had some freshwater fish, plants and supplies, though miniscule compared to the vast selection of saltwater stuff. This store is your one stop shop for all your saltwater needs, maybe even some freshwater stuff.

Had a good experience. Owner took time to introduce himself and show the tour of the intricate filtration systems and probably one of the biggest protein skimmers I've seen in my life!???? A vast selection of salt water fish that are displayed with some well thought out logistic planning. All fish are easy to see and visible without having to look through 100 separate fish tanks like your typical fish shop. My new favorite fish shop!!

Such an awesome place. Staff is super friendly and knowledgable, they also clearly love working there. The owners are always welcoming and they have two sweet dogs that greet you as well. My favorite time to go is on days they get shipments, cool stuff sells fast, and days that are frigidly cold, its like walking into a tropical paradise with the lights, humidity and the amazing selection of fish. ???? If you're looking for advice on saltwater or freshwater fish and really neat tanks, go here. Their prices are great too, much much cheaper than the big brand name pet store, ???? who don't even hire people with half the knowledge of the owners and staff at into the blue.

The staff is very knowledge and helpful without being pushy at all. I am brand new to the hobby and feel so much more confident in with starting up my first saltwater aquarium then I did before going in. I can’t wait to come back as I start building my little reef tank!

I give Into the Blue full marks. There is nothing I can think of that is negative. Their service is wonderful, very welcoming, personable and you can tell each and every person is there for the hobby and to help those within it regardless of their experience. Their shop is neat, tidy and you can see the fish and coral are well kept. The dry goods section has wide variety and in some cases some items are even cheaper than what you can get a big box store, which is always a plus for us cheap Winnipeggers ;). On top of all this the owners are there quite frequently and if you want to talk to them you can. They also offer the opportunity for you to get the exact fish you want if they can order it! By far the best LFS I have ever been to and I cannot overstate how well everything is run. Thank you Into the Blue team!

This is hands down the best fish store I’ve ever been to in the entire country. I have interacted with several employees and every single person is so knowledgeable, courteous, professional and friendly. I’ve also been dealing with Derrick, one of the co-owners and he is really what every local business owner should be like - you can tell he really values his customer relationships. They have great equipment for sale, lots of extremely healthy fish and corals, give great advice, have competitive prices, and their business practices are very sustainable. What else could you possibly want?! They’re the main reason I got back into this hobby after I stopped 8 years ago. I highly recommend you pay a visit!

I cant say enough good things about lyndon , derrick and the gang down at into the blue! We got our tank 6 months ago and finally got it all complete last week. Every step of the way, every question I've ever had they both answered without hesitation and sometimes I can be annoying, but that didn't stop them! They are very knowledgeable in what they do. They care about every living thing in their store. And most importantly they care about the customer. We have multiple pet stores where we are from. But none compare to into the blue! We drive over 2 hours just for them. Don't go anywhere else! These guys are legit!!

Amazing store and people that own and run it. Super knowledgeable and always excited to help. They’ve truely gone above and beyond for me and I have heard the same from many others. They make you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk In The doors whether it’s your first time or 100th time. Great selection of saltwater fish, corals and and everything related. Now they offer freshwater service as well. Store is clean looks amazing and laid out well for viewing fish and corals. They really care about the hobby and the success of their customers. They won’t try and sell you something just to sell you something. When I was new to saltwater I was like most and said “I want that” and pointed. They could have easily made a sale and let me leave with my new fish and coral. But they new they would have been sending them to a almost certain death as they talked to me while I looked around getting bits of info from me as we went so they could steer me in the right direction for the best chance of success. Whether you’re new or long time in hobby. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favour and visit them. You will be happy you did.

I use to really like Into the Blue but not long after they move locations the quality has went downhill. Maybe covid has something to do with it, but that doesn’t change the facts today. - Coral and fish prices are 25% high than the other saltwater stores in Wpg. - There are bleached/necrosis in every frag tank and even their main display reef. - Fish are extremely small. They are kept in very small aquariums which leads to beat up fish. - Selection is very poor. Few corals and fish. Email stock lists are often not accurate. Email must go out before the fish arrive? I was going to buy a fish online this weekend and am glad I didn’t. It was 2” smaller than I have ever seen them available for. $15 more than the competitors price. I was actually going to buy it but after waiting 20 minutes while the one employee attended a single customer I decide I would custom order from another store. Wonderful they take the that much time to answer their customers questions but how so you service other customers? The last couple visits have left a poor impression upon me, unfortunately because of the above reasons I can no longer recommend ITB to anyone else.

People need to understand this isn't the only fish store. Fish gallery on main, nestors on Ellice or AFishinados east Saint Paul are all places with better selection of fish.

Love this store. It's clean, the live stock is healthy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I am new to the hobby and they answer all my questions patiently. Advice is always sound. They never try to over sell me. One suggestion. It would be nice to have a section for Nano tank owners. Smaller quantities of salt and sand etc.A five gallon pail of sand is just to much. Thanks for all your help!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing customer service. My wife and I walked into the shop clueless and left with a wealth of knowledge. The huge koi with the feeder thing is neat too. I will say though, this is NOT an amateur fish shop. (that was where I went wrong) its mainly saltwater which is neat. But either way, they treated my wife and I extraordinarily well. The staff member (im sorry I forgot your name!) spent like 45 minutes talking to us and explaining/helping with our current fish needs (which they couldn't provide, but that was because we are too amatuer.) All in all, if I ever move onto saltwater aquariums, this will be my go to fish shop hands down. 10/10.

Great place to buy product and gain knowledge. The tanks are clean and I like that. When I look at tanks selling product with aiptasia I just hate to think about bringing it home. These tanks are beautiful and the fish are quarantine before you get them.
