My boyfriend had the toast with avocado and egg, he was very satisfied. The only downside was perhaps the potatoes which were too salty. Nous sommes allés pour bruncher ce samedi, j'ai pris le bol (on m'a bien assuré que c'était végétalien, en enlevant le beurre des toasts) et c'était délicieux et copieux. Mon copain a pris la toast avec avocat et oeuf, il était bien satisfait. Le seul bémol c'était peut-être les patates qui étaient trop salés. Sinon service excellent et courtois :)

I had heard how good the food is here at La Shop and ventured over for lunch one early afternoon. At 13:45 and we were told only take out was possible because they close at 14:00. OK, surprising that we couldn't sit and order with 15 minutes before closing but alright strick policy is a rule (as I then found out). We, of course, ordered to go. I am allergic to dairy and EVERY but EVERY sandwich on the menu has cheese in it and while they assemble each sandwich upon ordering - they REFUSED to accommodate me by simply not putting cheese in a (any) sandwich. Insisting that it was the restaurant policy to NOT make any modifications to anything on the menu. I've never faced such intolerance in any restaurant, ever. I was shocked at the server's insistence that they just would not take my order. So be it. If you have any special needs DON"T GO TO LA SHOP. However, we ordered a breakfast item and it was delicious!! Now I see my receipt is from the neighbouring RESTAURANT FONDISSIMO, hopefully they don't adhere to the same strict (anti-client based) policies.
