"Inhale deeply"... Here we go: it has a dark, night club alike environment, with good music and very active style. Many kinds of tables are available, unfortunately for us, we had a tall one. Consequently, chairs were high and hard to sit comfortably. The staff is courteous and smiley, but below average in response time. Men's bathroom was clean. Beers are OK, nothing special. They offer options from the local brewing store called Archibald, which is good, but they could have done a better partnership. They differ from other restaurants due to they extensive cocktails menu, which is great and has been approved by the members of our table (I did not drink those). Food is very good - they have many options of hamburgers and less from other kinds of dishes. The medium poutine (which is starred on their menu) is of mediocre size for its price, but tastes very good - I would have swapped the fancy presentation for a larger plate. Burgers, fish and chips and calmars were ordered and approved in taste and size by the members of the table. Late in the night, the restaurant seems to drastically change from "family" environment to "teenagers". It was fun to watch the transaction and place becomes very active, with some fancy champagne with fireworks going all around. Price for two with alcohol is average for this kind of restaurant. Will likely go again in another opportunity.

Decent restaurant. The place is a kind of typical in the genre (it's also a chain resto / bar) like top 40 music, tv with sports playing etc, nothing really exeptional. But it's fine, the food and the drinks are good but again a bit typical for that kind of place, there is a special after 10pm on cocktail & beers. The place is confortable, relatively clean, the service is good too. My complaint would be about the rice of the poke bowl which is kinda cold and dry (they make the rice bowsl way too long in advance and with minute rice) so it ruins the fun of a poke bowl. its over all kind of pricey for what it is.. i went there four or five times, i probably will go again eventually, its a cool place if you want to have a late night snack and a drink. over all good but nothing really special. i give 3 stars because two would not be enough, think of it as a solid 2.5 stars..

Par contre, les soupes sont systématiquement trop salées (nous avons déjà dû demander de l'eau chaude pour diluer la soupe à l'oignon, mais c'est aussi le cas de toutes les soupes en menu du jour). J'imagine que le sel fait vendre des breuvages... Les desserts aussi font pitié. Souvent sec, pas intéressant. Bref, allez-y pour le tartare, mais oubliez les soupes, potages et desserts!

We were passing through and went here because of great reviews by others. We were not disappointed, the place was loud with many 20-30 somethings but also 40s to 60s, just less so, the music was loud but not so loud you couldn't communicate with your companions. We ordered the poke bowls, a new experience for us, and I must say DELICIOUS!!! Spent a few minutes talking to a manager who told us this a franchise originating in Quebec with half a dozen locations in the province, can't wait till they come to the Ottawa area!

Since they first opened a location in Montreal. I ve been interested. And hats off whoever takes their pictures for the food because, it forsure gets people in the door. Unfortunately the taste will make it so I dont ever go back. Now I only had an amuse Bouche of tartare. And that two bites is literally the only reason this place is getting two stars. Because the burger was horrendous. Way too sweet and I can bet my house on it, the patty wasnt cooked to order, There's no way. The shoestring fries were decent. But I mean a fried patoto is nothing to write home about. I'm sure theres some good cocktails going on. And seemed to have some good beer specials (with different daily specials to entice people to get you in the door.) But I can't wrap my head around the overly expensive cocktail trend that's going on. The food was really expensive too. I mean it's not even prime location as far as restaurants go. Anyways fail in my book. Decent tartare gets it 2 stars.
