Found a product from EHS Sales, a company based in Ontario that has a distributor in Langley, B.C. close to my home city of Kamloops.
It was a faux rock, which I needed to cover an electrical box and pond sensors on a post.
I am very pleased with the product now that I have installed it.
However, I am not entirely happy with the service I received over the telephone to order the product.
Nor am I happy with the in-person service received when the product was picked up from my brother, on my behalf.
I clearly asked the employee on the phone for the small faux rocks model 107 in Riverbed colouring.
He said they had six in stock.
Not having a payment method for orders over the phone, I had to have a family member living in Abbotsford who was travelling to the B.C. Interior that same day go and pick it up for me before closing.
The photo my brother snapped and sent of the product, which the young, male employee had waiting for him at the counter, was texted to me, and not clearly seeing the true colour of it under store lighting, I confirmed that was the right one (in error).
As it turned out, the employee, (which didn't want to put it back in the box for transport, sent along the wrong model.
It's the same model number 107, but its colour was Fieldstone, not Riverbed.
Details are important.
Had it not been that some of the boulders in the water feature in which this faux rock was being placed were actually more of a bluish tinge, like the Fieldstone faux rock covering I received in error, I would have be super unhappy and would have had to find a way to send it back.
And, I would have notified the product company EHS Sales of their Langley distributor's screw up. Fortunately, it works quite well as you can see from the accompanying photos.
