Great selection of meats and gourmet foods! The staff is very friendly. We love getting the special (a steak, prawn skewer and twice baked potato for 9.99). The marinated pre-cooked baby back ribs were also fabulous even though I was hesitant to purchase pre cooked ribs. We through them on the bbq, they were fast and 100 x better than the ribs I make from scratch!

Thanks to a friend of mine, I found out that Meridian Meats carried plant based options. Was thrilled to see that their website showed the "Beyond Meat" products. When I went to look at the store, was cheerfully greeted and asked if I needed help. I was shown clearly labelled, tucked amidst the other types of protein options, the burgers. I was also told of the sweet & Italian sausages offerings. Shall certainly buy these products again and try the other plant based goods.

These guys are so nice, super friendly customer service. It was strange, I needed Detta cheese and that's all but I didn't know where I could grab some super quick and I happened to be buying produce next door. They totally had it lol, I'm gonna go back there even though I live in Abbotsford just on the basis of it being such a quick and pleasant experience.

Food is solid. If you go close to closing (an hour before) the staff get kinda pushy about you buying and leaving. Also a good chunk of the meat was already put away. Make sure you go early!

Went in on a weekend of early May, randomly walked into this meat shop as I'm not from this neighbourhood. I got the ribeye steak and it was pretty good. Nothing crazy fantastically amazing, but it was GOOD, especially for the price I'm paying for. Customer service was great, no one was sick. Hopefully they keep up their standards because other reviews seem to be somewhat more negative about place.

I love love love this store! Staff is super friendly and helpful! One time I was absolutely blown away by their customer service. I was shopping with a baby in a stroller and by the time we got home( 15 min walking), I discovered that my order has been mixed up with someone's else. I got upset as I could not simply comeback there to fix the problem so I called. To my big surprise a girl named Savanah who worked in the store offered to deliver my order to my door and in addition added a small gift card balancing what I have paid. Plus I got to keep all the goodies:) I was so happy! She absolutely made my day:) Thank you guys for your great job and delicious meats and seafood!:)

If you are looking for better quality meat than you usually find in the regular grocery stores you need to try Meridian Meats. If you are also tired of all the styrofoam and plastic that you always end up with Meridian allows you to bring in your own containers which is one of the main reasons we shop here.

Was in your store tonight and there was 7 people shopping, only 2 of us had masks. This man refused to social distance when I asked him and taunted me. Your staff is wonderful and always helpful but in a moment like this, it would of been really helpful if they had of kept the number of customers down and asked that man to step back. They're young kids so they're unsure but I'm a senior with health issues. I'm terrified, and it took everything to go out today so I can make cabbage rolls to give out to friends and family. Could be their Grandparent they speak up for. That horrible man followed me into Kins market, continuing to make fun of me for wearing a mask.

I loved Meridian Meats in Langley but for the last year I have noticed a big difference. I'm not to keen on the new supplier you have gotten for the chicken. The chicken legs seem smaller in size. The whole chicken is now scrawnier. I brought home the legs and they had a sour smell, so I had to rinse them off, and was leery about eating them? I've also noticed there are flies flying around and the smell in the shop doesn't smell as clean anymore. The service is okay, but when I asked about the chicken and if Meridian got a new supplier I got a snarky reply NO! I avoid going to this location and when I go to Mission to visit my mom I will stop there. I use to have a 5 star for this location but I now rate you as a 2 and that's being generous. I have rewritten my view on the Langley location.

Always accommodating, and the staff are super friendly. It is my go to place for any meat I need. There is also a great selection and they will cut and package the products any way you need them too. Also pre ordering anything for the holidays (like turkeys) is a breeze and they have add ons (like stuffing or cranberry sauce) as well to make shopping for big dinners like that super simple. Highly recommend.

Have just recently started shopping at meridian meats again and I must say the Langley store is always very friendly. Prices are fantastic and have helped me save a bundle compared to buying from Save on. Today I had a fantastic encounter with Reuben! Reuben was very helpful and even got the bones taken out of the chicken thighs for me since they didn't have any on display. All the staff always welcomes with a nice hello and great conversation when checking out. I would highly recommend them to anyone whose looking for a great local meat shop at low prices and great quality.

i went in and ordered a New York strip and what i got was a a steak that was 2 x7 in. The steak in the front display was a good 2 times the size. if i knew what i was buying i would not have bought it as the clerk never showed me what i was getting. i feel that, that was like a bait and switch. if he had of shown me i would have ordered the rib-eye as they seem to be a better buy. so beware and ask to see what your getting before you pay.

Usually go to George's on 88th but went to meridian instead because I needed produce from kins, and was more convenient since they are attached. Ordered a NY and a tenderloin, and the person rang it in as a NY and a top, so I questioned at the till saying I ordered a tenderloin and she corrected the price tag and reassured me and told me not to worry, that it was definitely a tenderloin (twice the price). I checked in the car and it was definitely a top sirloin and could tell just by looking at it, so I went back in to question it and she was pretty sure it was a tenderloin but went back to ask someone more senior and they confirm I was right. Not a huge deal, but staff seem quite a bit more jr than George's, and so I'll stick with them from now on.

Not sure what has happened in the last 2 months or so. We used to drive all the way to Langley for our chicken because chicken breasts were of great quality and were consistently soft and tender. Not sure if suppliers were changed or what but lately chicken has been chewy and clearly lower in quality. shame.

I love Meridian Meats. I especially love that it is next to Kins market. So I would go in everyday for fresh meat and veggies for dinner in the summer. They are very customer service orientated and they do custom orders and help with finding things they don't have. It has always been a pleasant experience going in. Their prices have gone up recently but I am finding that happening everywhere thanks to covid. But their meat and pre-made foods are delicious. Their selection is also larger than other stores. I highly recommend them.

When I went into the Langley Meridian Store, I noticed a few sick employees there on a Sunday 2020. These employees were coughing and sneezing, while serving me my food. I am very much disgusted by this as no one should be working with food while being sick. This is a complete contamination of the food that has been served to me and the food that is being served to everyone else. I believe that if anyone works in a food industry, they should stay home to prevent the risk of infection from spreading. This makes me question the cleanliness of the whole store and how the store operates. I have been coming here for many months now and this makes me wonder if this is the right meat shop for me? I greatly enjoy the product here, but am disappointed on why this store or any mangers or shift managers, for that fact, would have any employee working during the day if sick. I think that staying home, when working with food, is a necessity to prevent the risk of infection from spreading from one employee to another or from an employee to any customer. As I have said before, I do enjoy shopping at this location but am very diasappointed with the operation in terms of the cleanliness of this store.

Went into the store and noticed a huge decrease in the customer service. People seem forced to suggestive sell and even state sale items at the till after I have already ordered. Things seem as if they are running more disorganized. I have also seen staff members working while being sick, causing them to be more robotic and more standing around, especially during week days. I miss the old manager and don't know if I will continue shopping at this location.
