The best fish and chips going. Not greasy with a light tempura style batter. The menu consists of your standard fish and chip shop fare but made with care. Everything is fresh and generous portions. The restaurant is licensed with some craft beer on tap. Decore is very cosy and encourages you to relax. Service is quick without being rushed. All you can eat service is great without having to wait. Done well.

Great place to go for Fish & Chips. Sometimes, I have the All You Can Eat for $14.95 with Pop. I enjoy the Halibut and the Salmon platters. The deep fried mushrooms are a tasty treat.

Loved this place but not going back. Food is pretty good but I am not going back. Wife ordered all you can eat fish and chips and it comes with a bottomless pop. Wife doesn't drink pop so I asked if I could have it instead... not even bottomless. No. Wife also had an extra piece of fish left over. Not allowed to take it home. Thrown in the garbage. How wasteful. I understand you dont want people abusing the all you can eat but just limit each additional order to one or two pieces and let people take them home. Usually I insisted we go here for my birthday but I'm Never going back again.

We had the All You Can Eat Fish And Chips and a small Coleslaw. My husband had ice water and diet pepsi to drink. I had ice water and black coffee. The food was excellent. I love their coleslaw and their fish is always good. The wait staff were very good despite the Covid masks, plexiglass and other social distancing. A nice evening out.

I think theres new owners as previous few times, lots of very friendly Filipinos worked there. None there this time. Ordered take out. Ordered 2 PC dinner with 1 EXTRA piece and extra tartar sauce. I had to pay FIRST, waited 15 minutes and started walking out door and noticed no extra tartar sauce...went back to get it, they said they have to charge me as they didnt charge me the $2.00 for it. They got very confrontational when I said I ordered it and shouldnt have to debit AGAIN such a small amount. This is how businesses fail...wasn't my fault and left feeling mad at experience...the food was better in previous visits sonwont go back

First time here, and it’s awesome. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful with suggestions. I had a 2 piece cod. The fish was as good as it gets, right amount of batter and crispness. Fries were perfect for me. Tarter sauce in the bottle was nice, don’t see that very often. Will definitely return.

I dislike the way I was treated. I ordered a pitcher while all my boys had all you can eat... the staff seemed to be suddenly interested in my every move. Pre-covid, this place has the best fish and chips in town. All you can eat. What more can I say? Friendly staff, kitchen pumping out food in efficient manner while maintaining quality food. Covid times: the family orders "the take out special." Just make sure to order tartar sauce if you take out. We usually get extra extra tartar sauce.

We come here every year after our family gets their christmas tree. They have consistently good fish, my husband loves getting the all you can eat which is good value. Most of us are full after one plate. The restaurant isn't overly fancy but I don't think any good fish and chip shop is. I'd say the decor could use a refresh but we have had nice consistent service over the years and an enjoyable experience and have always been able to seat our group of 10.

Their all-you-can-eat fish and chips is FANTASTIC. The fish is always nice and crispy, not too oily. The chips are crispy, with flavour (but not drowned in salt) The rivers of ketchup and tarter-sauce are ever-flowing. The cold pop is a match made in heaven to this hot, crunchy food. The sides and add-ons are great too. I'd recommend the onion rings. It is clean, with super friendly staff. All in all, a family favourite.

We ordered Fish, Onion Rings and Zucchini Sticks. The fish was tasty and lightly battered. But the veggies had easily three times the batter and it was way too much. The worst part though was being sick all night with violent stomach issues. Not sure if it was all the batter or oil, or something worse, but it did not sit well. Not sure I'll go back.

I was trying to figure out how long we've been going here for a fish n chips fix. Somewhere between 15-20 years. I'm pretty sure we came here pre-kids which might put it closer to 25 years. Every single time, we've had good, hot food and excellent service. The only time I ever had any issues was about a year ago and that was mid-covid, so I can't really blame them for being frazzled. The decor is interesting with the pictures of old-era Langley and the two aquariums are mesmerizing. 'Bout the only thing that I say could be improved is the gravy. I like gravy on my fries and theirs is hit and miss. Sometimes it's really good and other times, not so much. But, the fish, which is the real reason we go, is perfectly battered, crunchy on the outside and moist, flavourful fish on the inside. I prefer the Haddock or Halibut but Hubby says the Cod is best.

Plenty of seating, quick service, and our attentive waitress made our lunch here a pleasant enough experience. The Cod was good, though we found the batter a bit bland, and a few pieces came out soggy being served adjacent the cole slaw. We ordered the Bun and Butter as a side dish, and it was just a plain white hamburger bun - a bit disappointing. That said, the food was fresh, and overall good enough that we may stop in again if we're craving fish and chips but don't want to drive to one of the better restaurants around the lower mainland. If you just want basic fish and chips, this place won't disappoint. I'd give it a solid 3.5/5

Been several times to C-Lovers Fish & Chips since we moved to Langley, and every time, our meals have been great. The fish is really tasty and not oily and the chips (fries) are always fresh too. The service has generally been very quick as they have a lot of kitchen staff and are very efficient. Definitely going to be one of our frequented restaurants in Langley City.

We ordered by phone and were told to pick up in 25 minutes. We get there to have to line up outside in the rain and then once you wait to be let in they taken payment and start making your food. They don't treat employees very well ... my daughter at 17 years old after three days at work was fired for failing to card someone for alcohol and being to slow... first of all she was learning...second she is not legally allowed to serve alcohol at 17 ... it was my daughters first job and she was very excited to be employed.. shame on you C- Lovers Fish & Chips .... I really like this place. The fish is always great. The staff is always friendly, courteous and professional. When they are busy the service may be a little slow, but if they are busy and service is a bit slow, it probably because it's the best fish and chips in town.

Never disappointed coming here. Since COVID, we have been ordering the pick-up special which is amazing value for the amount of food you get! 2 pounds of fish, large package of fries (i think it equals to about 3 regular orders), coleslaw & a 2L of pop. Typically lasts two of us for 2 dinners and 1 lunch. Always ready on time for pick up.

My only issue and the reason for 4 stars and not five is my wife phoned the order for pick up and they said 25min but when I arrived 30min later to pick it up they hadn't started making it yet. They don't welcome people wearing mask when you order. When people wear mask to order, Those staff will ask you to take off the mask, they will pretend to not hear your order, but they hear other words clearly. they were rude and speak too loud to me. They never say thank you to me because I wear mask. The fish in the combo is small portion with lots of fries and doesn't include salad, not worth compares to other restaurant. I will never go to this store again.

It's good but here's how I really feel: the chips are alright and the fish is good but the batter gets soggy kinda quickly if you're taking it home. And gotta' be honest: in this time of quarantine most places will give a little more just to keep you coming back after this is all over but C Lovers gave the same and probably not a french fry more. Not that I needed it but maybe...something...especially as this is an all-you-can-eat dine in restaurant. So for those regular patrons who are especially hungry or have a large appetite or for a senior couple sharing, I'm a little surprised. Hard to find parking but quick service.

Asked to take what we had not eaten away and they refused! Awesome food as always. However, I am sad to see they are not offering the all you can eat portions for take-out. I had to eat in, they only served me once because 5 pieces is enough for anyone and I see no reason this can't be offered for takeout in this year of Covid. Dining in was terrifying during Covid, especially since the waitstaff are only wearing plastic shields and no masks. There is nothing to stop small droplets from polluting the air inside. I begged the manger a few weeks ago for take out and was refused. I only dined in because my craving wasn't satisfied. I won't be back now until Covid is over. I used to go here once a month or more. But now its just too risky as I already have compromised health. Paying 15.99 for all you can eat is affordable. If I ordered takeout...the same portion would cost 18.99 for 2 pieces of fish and fries...then 7.00 for each extra piece of fish. So the same portion would cost a total of $40.00....thats ridiculous. In this trying pandemic days you would think they'd be happy getting some business.

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever received. The misogynist taking the orders was on his high horse and did not like me asking questions to why the tartar sauce and coleslaw is an extra charge. Sunday afternoon, 10 people, no reservation needed and no problem having tables pulled together. Two people had dietary concerns which were handled easily. They can steam fish (they have no grill), and since the Ceasar salads are made to order, they will leave off anything you don't want. The steamed salmon was delicious and the coldslaw fresh and crispy. Everybody was happy with their food and beverages.

Food arrived quickly. Fish had just the right amount of batter AND WAS NOT GREASY. For a change, next time we will try the supreme ultimate platter which is what the guests at the next table ordered. We been go there for fish & chips for decades. Sometime take out. Sometime dine-in. Today the most unsatisfied part for this order was a piece of fish that was fried already. And then they put that back in the batter to fried it again. It hard like a rock. My kid who got it. She is not happy about that. I don't know where that fish come from? I don't know how they can not notice it? Fresh fish and fried fish is absolutely different. Especially the outside coating not burn. For sure was not just over done.

The operators of this place are extremely rude and not friendly. Their front of the house staff are extremely ignorant and incompetent. The food is greasy and not consistent. If you want a true c-lovers experience go to the location in South surrey on King George and 152 street beside the Starbucks coffee. Don't waste your time on this terrible place. It has changed owners so many times throughout the years and it shows by the beyond disappointing experience. Won't ever return or recommend.

I was a long time customer of sea lovers, my mom and I had been going there since the day it opened many years ago . Until March! When they had take out only and signs on the front windows to come in for take out . On this day , I had parked out front and gone in , proceeded to order what my mom and always order when we go , 2 piece halibut and an extra piece of halibut , we would share the fries etc ... it's all I have ever ordered from them is halibut .... I got to the take out counter , ordered exactly that , 2 piece halibut dinner and an extra piece of halibut , the girl behind the counter said cod , i said no , i want halibut ..... During the order , I was asked if I would like tarter sauce and I said of course... That will be an extra charge she says ... I asked why do I have to pay for tarter ( we always ate in ) and they said take is cheaper and its always been this way to be charged for tarter ..... ok thats fine , I dodmt agree with it as it was always free when I ate in ..... Once my order was taken , she said follow the arrows ,, the arrows take me to the back door , so I am a bit confused and asked if I am.supposed to wait outside ? They said no just wait back there voice says from the kitchen , im like ok and see x's on the floor n kinda figure im supposed to stay on an X ! The covid protocol was confusing, i could come in the back and go out the back , but could not come.in the front n go out the front ?? My order is ready I pick it up n head out the front door, the same voice- guy behind the counter rudely says go out the back , i said im parked ojt the front ( un aware of a walkway along the side of the building ) he yells at me to go out the back , you have been nothing but a problem since you got here and don't ever come back .... I said take your fish n chips back n he denied that and said there was no way I was getting my money back ... n told.me to get out of his restaurant.... I left , got home to my moms ,open the order n we got 2 pieces of cod n one piece of halibut, already stressed from this experience and an angry owner , I called and they were adamant I ordred cod ... I have never ordered cod there once as long as they have been there ... I habe shared my experience with my friends n have not been back since ..... though I was also told to never come.back ..... It was a regular thing for me and my 85 yr old mom , I have never been treated like that by any restaurant owner in my life .... I am allowed to ask questions when I dont understand ....... Will never eat there again and they do not deserve anyone's business , we now drive to white Rock for our fish n chips , instead of 2 blocks away Worst restaurant experience in my life ! Sad after so many years of enjoying sea lovers- they left a bad taste in my mouth !

Been coming here (and other C-Lover locations) for many, many years about 20 years in fact. I hate to say it but I don't think I'm going to be back. Food quality has steadily gone downhill over the past couple years. This last meal, I could not even finish and walked out hungry to eat elsewhere. Everything was under cooked. The fish, when you cut into it, was dripping with water, a lot of water. The batter was so soggy it was unpleasant to have in my mouth, and much of it still white and not even cooked. The fries as well, cool and pale coloured, barely cooked. What is the point of a fish and chips place that can't cook either? Lots of servers, but most of them spending their time behind the counter instead of checking on customers. I needed something to drink, to help clear the stuff from my mouth. "bottomless" drinks is now one refill.

As my wife had been visiting C-Lovers Fish & Chips with her sister previously I thought I too will go there with her to try it. I personally do not like deep fried heavily battered fish. As I had ordered a halibut burger I assumed it would not be battered . The waitress addressed both of us with MY DEAR when I ordered We found this to be very inappropriate and unprofessional My halibut was small and heavily battered .I can not recommend this place . You may pay a little more but for a fish burger and more professional service go to the White Spot Restaurant .

Dang.. 16.99 all you can eat.... it was 15.99 when restaurants re-opened and only 13.99 pre-covid. Still remember when it was 11.99. Up 40% in the last few years it seems. They must be paying the radio commercial guy big bucks to have to keep changing the ad. Use to go every Wednesday. Maybe once every six months now, if that. Not worth it.

We have been going here for years, often with my husband's elderly mother, and have never had a single complaint. The food is always hot and fresh, and the service is always good, especially when Jenny takes care of us, she's friendly, helpful and takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. Very disappointed by all you can eat fish & chips as advertised on website and radio. Steer clear and maybe another option. Pay close attention to the photo on C Lovers website! You won't be getting nice big plump pieces of fish with all you can eat, but rather I received limitless skinny fish fingers with a much higher ratio of batter to fish. So a lot of oil and batter. Add to that endless fries, not fat British-style chips but rather pathetic skinny cheap ones. And then bottomless pop, but I was more interested in the fish and chips, but since that was so disappointing thought I'd factor in the pop too. It's a meal with three of the most unhealthy options available. My body was offended at this meal. It was a celebration of batter, oil, salt, and sugar. Next time will avoid the all you can eat option like the plague. Thicker chips, and fish, and no pop is what I'll look for next time.

This should be your first stop for food in Langley City. It makes you feel like you did when you went for dinner as a kid. The food is always on point and the service is top notch! The entire staff work together like a well oiled machine to provide the most pleasant and efficient service. Their a pleasure to watch. Their fryers are clean and the batter is SO crispy but light. I can't say enough good things about this location.

We go for the all-you-can-eat fish and chips (plus drink). Great food for the price. Price changes with age so less for younger kids who eat less so that's a great break for families! Always consistently great taste and they crank meals out as fast as possible even when busy. While a bit greasy it is always our go to location for fish & chips. Great fries and homemade Tarter Sauce with Fish that is breaded not too heavily! They are never shy with refills so eat your fill!

I give them a 1 star for RUDE DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR FROM THE GENTLEMAN CLAIMING TO BE THE OWNER/MANAGER -I will relay my experiences and allow you to decide for yourself if you would feel the same way after shelling out $72.00 on your 1st order at this establishment! After entering this restaurant for the 1st time(been to other franchises, but none operated by the owner/management of this establishment)to pick up my $72.00 halibut combo. The oriental/asian man(who later claims to be owner/manager; more on that later) decided he'd first help a customer who had been waiting less time for his order then me, so I made the very small comment of “you must of realized I’ve been here much longer” to which he replied with I’ll get to you next. Which normally would mean we're all good, however I was surprised he didn’t include any type of my bad, sorry , I apologize, even I didn’t notice you were waiting longer but he didn’t, and what surprised me the most was his condescending tone that made me feel disrespected. Just to put things in perspective even the customer who budged in front of me promptly apprized but I told him it was not on him to apologize as the employee(claims to be manager/owner) knew I was there first and it was his error to accommodate you first. Anyways I paid for my food and as I was taking it to leave, I'd just mentioned I felt disrespected as a 1st time customer spending $72.00 on a average amount of food and all I was looking for was simple acknowledge meant and a very simple sorry, my bad, anything along those lines and I would of forgotten about it instead he decided to tell me he didn’t care and when I followed up saying “do you care if I ever choose this establishment again and he replied “it’s up to you if you do or you don’t”, I let him know I would be leaving this review to let people know that someone spending $72.00 at his business does not matter to him, when I asked to speak to the manager he said “speaking” when I asked if he was the owner or the manager he just kept replying “speaking” in his condescending tone. When I finally said I will never spend money here again due to my rude attitude he said your rude for ordering at 7 and picking it up at 8:05 I was flabbergasted and walked out the door after letting him know the review would be left as for the “I’m rude for ordering at 7:00(I checked the receipt, I ordered at 7:15) and picking it up at 8:05” what he meant is they had to call me at 7:55, asking how much longer I would be until I picked up my food, at which point I told them I was coming from 40 mins away and would be there in 7-10 mins, which I was. Also I want everyone to know multiple people were still in booth and or tables eating and multiple other customer(2) came in after me to pick up their takeout, including the previously mentioned customer which lead to the rude encounter from “owner/manager" so needless to say I was utterly shocked and won’t be going back. PLEASE NOTE I BELIEVE ITS A GOOD CHAIN BUT THIS PARTICULAR FRANCHISE AND ANY OTHER OWNED AND MANAGED BY THIS EXACT GROUP REPRESENTED BY THE oriental/asian MAN CLAIMING TO BE EITHER THE MANAGER OWNER OR BOTH at 8;00 on Saturday August 1st. He costed you a customer who would spend 70+ dollars on premium non special menu items. please reach out if you want to apologize as thats all I was looking for from square 1

The prawns in batter and fries were very good. Unfortunately, the chowder was not well made, overcooked fish and bland base, I could not eat it. That said, I would absolutely go back for the fish and chips, which is their specialty anyway. Very friendly and accommodating staff, they removed the chowder from my bill which I appreciated. So ultimately, great place, just avoid the chowder until they make changes to their process. Cheers
