This is the best dining option at Lake Louise. We have always had fantastic food and service. Thank you for the great experience!

The ramen is mushy instant noodles and overly salty. The bison is raw. Im so dissapointed in the ramen. Ramen is my favorite.

Really good quality sushi for being in small village of Lake Louise! A la carte style menu. Unique, wide spread, comfortable seating in the main ski lodge at Ski Louise. 10/10 would return.

Ramen is normal. Pork is good. Dragon maki is also nice. Very nice dining environment

Very good Ramen to warm you up for lunch while skiing. They have a kids menu which is great for parents that want to eat sushi or ramen but their kids just want regular kid food. Service was fast and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back here next time I go skiing at the Lake!

This is a gem in Lake Louise, and makes me wonder why everybody crowds into the restaurants in Lake Louise Village when there is great food just over at the ski hill. This is a truly beautiful setting, with an incredible log building and stunning views and really good sushi. We brought our kids, and they wanted something other than sushi or ramen, so we went downstairs and we were allowed to bring some fries up for them. Made it a perfect family meal! Would

Love it, great broth, firm and tasty noodles and also great meat, the pork and bison meat is amazing

Hue Trinh

Friendly service, ramen was decent but it was overpriced for its portion ( make sense because the restaurant located in a touristy area).

(Translated) His cuisine cannot be viewed in the spirit of Japanese cuisine. This is a bowl of pork noodles. Only the soup head has a clear taste of tonkotsu bone. We also ordered Toro, poor handling of fish, eat fish smell to clear, pity! For hot Asian dishes, this may be the only option nearby (Original)

Serving staff was excellent, my husbands soup was very bland and barely warm when it was brought out. My soup was too salty to even finish half as my husband attested to as he usually will finish my serving but wouldn’t. Sushi was clearly made a day prior and kitchen could have made it a memorable meal with a bit more effort. Cranberry juice and wine delivered though!

Great food on the hill. Take off your helmets and sit down for a hot bowl of ramen or an inventive sushi plate. #justlakeit

Was the food food? The answer is yes. It was a nice change to get some decent ramen and a some elk sushi (very good) on a ski slope. They only issue is the service was exceptionally slow... when your skiing and want to get back out to the slopes this may not be the best pitstop for you! With that said... I applaud the resort for thinking outside the box and bringing a ramen/sushi restaurant to a ski lodge!

Really enjoyed the food , service was great, attentive, quick, well kept , and clean .

A very surprising sushi place. A very cozy restaurant in the main chalet where this restaurant takes over one side and on the other side is more pub like. The california rolls were made with real crab...a first for a person like me who has had sushi throughout their life in multiple cities. The fish is fresh and tasted fresh. Apparently the fish gets shipped here 3 times weekly from vancouver. Service here is friendly and very quick. Portions are on the smaller side but probably better to not eat so much while skiing. Pricing is average. Would still recommend coming here for something different than typical fries etc.

After a hard day of skiing & snowboarding in the biting cold, the ramen in Kuma Yama was the best thing we had after traveling for so many days in US & Canada. As Asians we are always on the lookout for ramen or rice and this was godsend. The attendants were very sweet & helpful. Nothing could be better than this. Thanks Kuma Yama

A great respite from stodgy mountain food. Fresh, creative and reasonably priced

Fresh, tasty sushi. ???? But, ramen ???? is a miss. Not enough broth. Egg is an extra charge???? and was served cold – also a bit too runny. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Hostess and our waitress were very gracious, but other staff were short-tempered when we asked about our Louise Plus Card discount. Note: Hostess said it would be applied. When the bill came, the discount didn’t show on the receipt. So we asked about it and were told by another staffer they don’t offer the discount. This turned out to be misleading/wrong. The email receipt you receive with the Plus Card does show the correct amount with the discount applied.

Food was ok and staffs were very nice but the portion was not big enough ;(

Ramen combo was delicious and the perfect amount of food. Had the Tonkatsu soup and broth was yummy and the perfect amount of noodles. Great meal on a cold ski day.

Aaron Koo

It's bad. Imagine sushi being made by people who were self taught by Youtube videos. same goes for the ramen. They're banking off the tourist trap. The service is fine, but the food is really bad

Sheila Mardika

Foods are okay. Australian staffs are just being typical australian, very rude towards us asians (there were another asian family dining with us and one white table) staffs were obviously more friendly wih the whites. Doesnt even communicate except when we order food and receiveing payments. Wouldnt cnsider coming back.

James Robert

This is not ramen! Sorry, I really hate to put a bad review up as I love the Lake Louise Ski Resort, but I had the Tonkatsu Ramen here and it was terrible, almost not edible. I would highly recommend staying clear of this place and eating at the caf.

I'm from Ontario (Canada), so having a sushi place at the resort is pretty cool. I wouldn't say it was anything mind blowing, more of an average sushi spot. I did have the bison ramen which was something different! If you are here for a couple of days, worth popping in to try it it out

Quite expensive, but delicious

Live music was nice and good atmosphere away from the main floor. Good flavour from ramen but maki wasn’t prepared to order and tasted old. Very small maki portions required ordering extra food for lunch. Wouldn’t return due to portion size and old maki.

ValenOz Pardi

Was really good. I would put 5 stars, the staff were friendly and mindfull BUT the portions are too small.

Had the worst ramen (and maybe even worst meal) of my life here. Our ramen noodles came all CHOPPED UP and they were softer than wet bread. Was amazed. Sent it back to the kitchen and got back the same noodles because apparently the chef “took the noodles from the bottom of the pile”. Honestly can’t believe any self respecting chef would dare to serve this, but the server told us that they were very understaffed today because it’s very busy today and they only managed to get the head chef back here on his day off. Still though! The broth was too salty and the bamboo shoots were too salty to even eat. The charsiu was nice but not really the Japanese type. The corn was probably used to boil the soup first bc it was soft and tasteless. And our eggs were peeled so badly and was so jagged it’s really questionable whether a toddler peeled it. Plus, it wasn’t seasoned on the outside like an ajitama should be. Literally the most appalling thing I’ve ever eaten I can’t even say how shocked I am lol. And... our sushi’s rice was mushy but honestly after the ramen, that was the best thing already. The server we had was really nice though and extremely apologetic even though it wasn’t her fault. We got 2 complementary hot drink coupons from her, but please! Never come here!! Our meal cost 29$ in total so it’s not like it was even cheap!

Very friendly service and reasonable prices for a resort. The Sushi was good, however not as precise as you might expect when it was made.

Honestly, this place saved my life today. Being extremely hungover and craving some good ramen, this place really delivered. Our server Riko was just an absolute delight who really took care of us during our experience. She was extremely warm and welcoming while providing us with excellent knowledge about the food and especially the japanese teas. Not to mention, the presentation was just so on point.
