I went there for the first time today. I must say that it won't be the last one since the service was quick, the cashier was nice to me and most importantly the food was great! I got some basa and calamari and both were fresh and tasty. On top of all this, the prices were actually good too.

I used to go there to buy fresh fishes only. One day, I decided to try the food. Oh my God! Why did I wait so long? Presentation is beautiful, the food( grilled shrimp's my favorite) is so tasty, well seasoned and perfectly cooked . The staff is welcoming, the place is very clean. Really, I have nothing negative to say about this place. If you are a sea food lover, you're gonna love it.

Had the Fish & Chips and it was off the hook. Portion was super big and came with fries and a fresh house salad. One of the best I've ever had. Price was ridiculously cheap. They are mainly a fish market so you know that is was super fresh. It's on my "Must eat here" short list. Staff was super friendly and courteous.

I purchased the fish and chips. It was a mushy, tasteless piece of sole, which I suspect has been previously frozen (and injected with water before freezing; a common tactic to make the fillet look fuller and heavier). Fish and chips should be made with fresh haddock, halibut or cod. Very disappointing. Easily the worst fish and chips I have ever had.

There is no fresher fish in Montreal! The staff is friendly and kind. You can expect you delicious meal (no matter what you ordered) to be served reasonably fast and freshly made. The restaurant has a nice family ambiance, is lovingly decorated with a nice sea theme and parking is generally good. Great for fish and seafood lovers and a pretty good bet for a family meal. I enjoyed a nice meal with my father and sister there and we have collectively decided that my Mother needs to discover this place too.

No nonsense fresh seafood resto. Pick from the menu or pick your selection from a big fresh seafood selection on display and they will prepare it .accompanied by rice salad and fries , generous portions and reasonable prices.

sadly I guess I was overhyped by the reviews. Since it got a high review and why not support some local merchant near my area! worse decision of my life, Got a box of oyster and they were 1/4 dead by the look (7 of them were opened) while washing it, I have to open the rest yet. Let’s hope the rest is good.. first time in my oyster shucking life, I discovered so many dead ones in a box.. the harvest date was not even on the box. Anyways, maybe I was just really unlucky they carry not so fresh produces. Update: I had to throw away 4/5 of the box. Very very bad. Every time I open one, a dead oyster was waiting for us.. quality price, very disappointed. Probably their fish is ok.. but their oyster was very very bad. After reading their reviews carefully, they were highly ranked just for the big portion of the food at the restaurant. It Doesn’t reflect the freshness of the seafood. I took one for the team, so son’t get fooled by the 5 stars reviews.

Good concept with a great selection of fresh fish. You can buy your fish to take home like a regular fish store, but you can also have them prepare the fish for you to eat in the restaurant. The fish was will prepared and delicious, with generous portions. The only negative I have, and it's minor, is for decor. The food is much better than the look of the restaurant would lead you to imagine.

My go-to fish restaurant. I usually get the sole fillets or the seafood plate. I prefer the sole fillets to the fish n' chips as the sole is softer and they make it taste like butter. Delicious. I also love the seafood platter. It comes with a little scallops, shrimp and calamari, crunchy and tasty. Plates come with fries and salad. I don't know what they use as salad vinaigrette, but it's light yet very tasty. Washrooms are always clean, service is friendly, (even when we ask for more tartar sauce!) and wallet-friendly. Plates come out to 11 to 14$ plus tax/tip, and you are full. They also have a fish or chicken burger combo with fries and soda for 6$, which is way better than a fast food burger. Will come back. Often.

I seriously didn't expect much from this place and I am glad it proved me wrong. Excellent seafood and very fresh. The menu is simple and worth the little wait. You won't be disappointed, a total recommend! My only nudge? Space is limited so plan accordingly.

The order of fish and chips comes with some salad , a good portion of fries and 2 large pieces of fish. It was excellent and the quantity was more than enough. We were in Montreal for 4 days and ordered it twice for take out, although you can also dine in. Half the place is fresh fish in tanks and on ice and the other half there are tables to eat in. Very reasonable prices. Certainly qualifies as "cheap eats"

The place is good but I made a long drive to do a carry out (after calling in advance). I got there at 6:30. When I called before, they told me they were closed at 7. When I arrived at 6:30, I was informed that they were closed and I would not be able to order. This I do not like. I come here fairly regularly. Good food but if you want anything, ignore the 7:00 closing time and get there by 6

Tonight was my first time.i told the gentleman who greeted me(Mr Yusuf)that is my first time.he was very helpful about the consept and has very good knowledge about fish.i ate seabass (grilled) in restaurant and I bought some whitening fish for home.it was very tasty that I ate everything except the skull.its a bit small place but has really good food to offer.they have parking also.i ll definitely come back to eat here.

I find out the owner/manager arrogant and unfriendly. I asked for a fish hamburger and after about 15 minutes I got fish chips. when I told the owner about the mistake order, with an annoying face He said that He clearly heard me to say: '' fish chips''..When I actually asked to the cook directly about the fish burger. So You said is my fault then?. I asked Him, and He said:Yes. I was about to leave the place when the cook said: Is ok. I can make you the fish burger in two minutes. And I'm actually got my fish burger in two minutes. I'll give 3 stars to the fish burger and the cook.
