As with any place that offers high quality cuts of meat you will pay more, but if quality is important to you, you can't go wrong here.

Early on the month I placed a large order and sadly had to cancel. I received wonderful customer service via email. In the store today the service was equally amazing! Staff did an excellent job ensuring safety precautions for staff and customers. Nugget was working hard keeping the store clean and provided excellent customer service. A young man behind the seafood counter noticed us looking at some plants and offered his knowledge. We will be back!

Great place worth nice sandwich meat and deli. We ordered sandwiches to go and they were ready for pickup. They have a sandwich card similar to a coffee card. I recall after the 12th sandwich, 13th is free. Fresh meat and imported products. Very clean and bright.

A coworker of mine suggested I visit this establishment for lunch, largely due to their high quality, fresh deli section. I ordered the Deli Sandwich Combo which included chips, a bottled drink of my choice and a mild salami sandwich on a toasted kaiser, topped with black olives, lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese, salt & pepper and chipotle mayo. There were many other less common toppings available. The staff were very friendly and assisted a high volume of customers with ease. The store was very busy, as I arrived at lunch time, but the quality of customer service delivered by several on duty employees did not suffer in the slightest.

This store is a deli and has a large butcher shop. Some of the items, like London Broil, are made by the staff. We barbecued them and they were delicious. Not inexpensive but they also have prepared food to go, sometimes. Not sure when.

Visited Victoria street market today, it’s a nice place to find a lot of variety of quality foods that you won’t find in mainstream grocery stores. They have a great dairy corner, a dessert/baked goods counter, meat area with lots of sausage variety and aisles of speciality drinks and things like apple butter and flowers. Visit if you’re in the area and want to find a quality product or grab a quick bite. I didn’t end up buying anything but it was good to browse.

Placed an order for same delivery shortly after lunch. Received a call 10 minutes before closing saying that they can’t deliver but we can pick up, they just have to get it ready. They had 3 hours to get an order ready, not like they were serving people in store (we tried going in). Then they call me back right away saying they can’t get the order ready. Now we’re scrambling to get dinner because most grocery stores are out and have shortened hours.

Honestly, I’m surprised and shocked at Victoria Street Market. To say the very least I will be contacting my local MP and telling everyone I know to avoid this place. Their behaviour is disgusting and appalling. My father in law, a senior, and with a lung medical condition, went in the market without a mask (which was in his right to do so since the by law states that if you have a medical condition you are exempt to wearing a mask). He was YELLED at by the staff and manager, threatened to have the cops called on him, and was kicked out. If you have any moral code, nothing is worth buying here. Stand for human rights.

BE CAREFUL when buying your deli meats there. Went in last night and lady was spraying a cleaner on the glass and the overspray was getting on the meats. I assumed that when I placed my order she would have removed the gloves she was cleaning with, but just grabbed the meat with the same gloves. I left immediately without my order. Called trying to get a hold of management, no one picks up! I am surprised this place is still open after careless food handling like this.

I absolutely love the fresh cuts of meat. The selection of unique imported products is also very nice. If I could pick something that they could improve on, it would be the selection of cheese. I like fresh cut cheese not packaged in plastic. They do have a limited selection but having a great cheese market would add to this excellent shop. I do want to thank the owners for having such a great authentic butcher shop so close to home.

I payed $25 for 650gr of previously frozen striploin steak believing it was fresh . Fresh should mean fresh and not "freshly defrosted" I could as well get some old newspapers ,mash them up in water ,form them into shape of steak and fry it and result would be the same . Very disappointing . I have to edit this somewhat . I bought pork chops at the same time and had them fried later in the day and they were perfect . So I guess I will just go for pork chops to this place . .

Went in to pick up meat for dinner today - noticed the back ribs were on sale so I grabbed one rack. Got home, opened the package and immediately could smell something awful. At closer inspection the ribs actually are rotten, with brown patches on the meat. Is that why they were on sale? Rotten back ribs for a dollar off per pound? Gross. Also, for anyone shopping for fresh vegetables, this place is extremely overpriced - I would shop elsewhere. Apparently getting something on sale means buying rotten meat. I have Pictures for proof

Nice selection, a bit of a messy setup though. Found what I was looking for and had a look around. They carry some interesting products that cant be found as easily elsewhere. The girl at the sandwich counter coughed onto the back of her hand and continued to make her customers sandwich so I decided to forego the lunch counter that day.

We placed an order which was miss placed...somewhat understandable with pandemic flood... They did a special delivery for us after hours but could not supply all our order...the next day Corrie called and said they had the balance in stock and he personally delivered to us... This was our first time in the store. Very nice. We ordered Beef Tenderloin on Tuesday for Friday pick up. The beef looked perfect in the case. Were told our order would be the same quality. On pick up day the order was wrong. Only gave us 6 steaks. We checked in the car before leaving. Good we did. Went back to get the rest. When we arrived home we were disappointed. Beef Tenderloin should be one piece of good meat. We had fatty and not the round that we saw. We ordered 5 5oz. And 3 8 oz. With some room for a little change. We received 1 5oz. 1 6 oz 4 8 oz and 2 10 oz. Not even close to what we ordered. We will now tie string around the steaks to keep them together when cooking. I sure hope the taste better then they look. Happy Fathers Day.

Some of the best there is to offer in KW. Highly recommended for lunch and for coffee. The fresh pressed orange juice is the best in the region. Pricing isn't as outlandish as some have mentioned especially when it comes to staple items. Great selection of stuff for your next house party, sauces, chips, European and Canadian drinks, things you just don't see at the grocery store. The deli has fantastic lunch meat options and your staple cheeses.

Fish is generally fresh and a few specialty items are handy. I have not had good experience with customer service at the deli counter, and especially at the coffee bar in the morning. I have left several times because I waited too long for a simple cup of coffee. It would be great if they could staff those sections better to make it worthwhile!

I called today to place an order. I was told they are starting a 5.00 bagging fee for orders under 100.00. This is sad. Everything I ordered was from the deli and I am not sure what extra work is involved for my order as they have to pick it, weigh it, pack it and give it to me then they bag it as the cash register. Same as when I am in the store. Why the 5.00 fee. With the prices as high as they are, to me is gouging. I shop here all the time and now I will look elsewhere.

Meh lunch is ok, over priced kinda bland. It was way better before. Got a sandwich today bad 3 slices of salami on it. Looked at briscuit; was almost $10/lbs and at a local butcher to me it's $4.50

Last 3 visits have purchased pretzels and buns all of which were well past it’s shelf life. Bread buns stale and pretzels were stale by evening of day of purchase. Very disappointed today the 4th August as I felt that they wanted to get rid of old stock as it was the long weekend. Purchased a lemon tart on Sunday before Monday long weekend and tart was stale and lemon filling had partly separated from the stale crust. Purchased a small tray of shrimps with cocktail sauce that had a film on the top and the shrimps had a very fishy odour to them...best before 9/8/2019 . This was the 4th of August 2019. Still come for the headcheese but losing 3 fairly regular customers for other products. Sorry but all your fresh products should still be fresh and available whether it’s a long weekend or not.

Everyone knows how great the food is at the Vic ST Market but I'm not sure if everyone understands how great the service is. Today, a very pleasant young woman named Emma left her department to assist me in getting what I needed in another department, as the girl there was already busy assisting other customers. I was blown away by Emma's knowledge of the whole store and her outstanding customer service was second to none. Overall amazing experience!
